Considering new players typically struggle to get past lv 5 on there first few runs, this is very impressive. Just I would recommend you look into a bit more of the mechanics such as arial attacking (jump + click), uppercutting (crouch + click), criting (r), and venting (g it pushes enemies away at the cost of tempo which re-charges your ether). Perfect casting is also useful (basicly clicking and casting a mantra at the same time) it reduces the amount of ether needed to cast a mantra. Looking into the talents is also a good idea but in general most builds will go, 40 adg for ghost, and 40 fort for exoskeleton. That being said your first few builds wont be good anyway so try to explore and find things for your next characters would be what I recommend.

(Also for a starting tip, I'd recommend doing the engage and critical attack quest, the aerial assault quest, and thresher scales quest. They offer what are esentially permenant talent upgrades for any future runs. You can find more information about the quests on the wiki!)
Honestly this was so fun to watch. From like, not knowing where to go to getting victory after victory, even scaring off other players that had way better gear but making them flee. Killing the big coral monster sharko, and even in the depths killing that ice lionfish and cheering on! It's awesome to see how far you got your first run, genuinely impressive, props to you for picking things up so fast
Quick tip for the depths, you cant climb the wall, even if you have allot of barrels. What you need to do is go to the center of the city, there should be a gate or an elevator, depending o what side you are on. If the gate is closed then you got to find 2 bells and ring them. By going through the gate or elevator you can make it to the center of the city.

32:42 somebody else has probably already said this, but that’s an ice lionfish. Usually lionfish aren’t as strong by as that one, but the good news is that it takes more damage from flamecharm. Also, you can avoid the cero by getting behind a wall. Hope this helps man, it’s nice to see somebody new start to enjoy the game. (also you did good in that fight for a new person, godseeker material fr)
For your first fight, you did pretty good.
The barrel method for escaping the depths has been patched, you need to get to the trial lift via an elevator or a gate that you open by rining 2 bells that make noise across the city
they actually patched barrel climb method or is it harder because that the only way ive been able to escape depths lol

tip 1: plan ahead what you will invest in dont invest randomly invest with strategy certain cards have certain requirements.
tip 2: Do the trial of one (Search it up on the wiki)
tip 3: get an oath (Something for around mid-end progression basically picking a class)
tip 4: You did well but progressing alone can prove it's difficulties, you probably don't know where to progress at certain pojnts.
tip 5: get a decent weapon (that guy in the video with the big axe you did pvp against had an evanspear handaxe very good for pve)
tip 6: YOU ARE BOUND TO DEEPWOKEN NOW, THERE IS NO ESCAPE.
tip 7: fight bosses when you're level 19-20. (unless you're a chad gamer like me and are able to solo diluvian and do duke Erisia at level 15)

Here is a tip to escape the depths. There are 2 entrances to the city, you can tell by pressing "m" for the map. The left side entrance on the map will have an elevator, while the right side entrance will have a gate. I recommend the left side entrance on the map where the elevator is. When you are at the left side entrance, just keep heading forward and you will see an elevator where you pay 25 notes to get up, or you can climb. After that you just have to complete the depths trial by pulling the lever. I believe that you will get better at deepwoken, and I enjoyed this video a lot. I hope to see more banger content by you ❤

really impressive first run. I suggest exploring the world instead of forcing yourself to grinding sharkos until power 10. Atleast until you're experienced, appreciate the world and explore what you can.
You die a lot when you first touch the game which is very annoying, but when you start to get the hang of it, it becomes really fun

you actually cant climb the wall in the depths anymore. to get to "the room" that you meant, there are two options based on what side you enter the city:
1. the entrance with the way down (the one that you entered in the video), you have to activate 2 bells in some buildings. after that you juet go into the gate that opens and youre inside the elevator ("the room")
2. the entrance where the ground is juet flat, you just go straight until you see a small elevator, then you go on top of it and stack some barrels until youre up.
after youve done any of the 2 options, youre inside the elevator ("the room").
then you just pull the lever and go up to get to your trial. i dont really know what trial youll get based on your level but obviously the higher your level the harder the trial.

Let me clarify the trials 1-4 is a free pass 5-7 is mudskipper knight 8-9 is angel 10-15 is sharko and 16-20 is enforcer after that it's based on drowns
you died from insanity in the overworld. there is massive eye ball things that give you insane amounts of insanity. that wasn't kaido that was a lionfish and it was a frost attribute aka your fire moves do more damage you have to go to the non sloped side to escape the depths you have to walk past like a merchant looking place in the middle the hardest monster for a new player just sits there ( all the max level kills them ) so you're safe and just take the first elevator up ( you need at least 25 notes to use it ) then the actual elevator to the trial is just right there all you have to do is pull the lever near it ( its inside )
Note to self they remove climbing on the city walls u have to go to the middle to escape u have 2 front gates one with the slope and one with no slope.
* Slope: u have to find 2 bells in each building to unlock the gate.
* No slope: u pay 25 notes to use the elevator and escape.

just server hop till u find an open one
yo instead of trying to build over the wall with barrels, open the interor gate. You have to ring 2 bells on the side you where on to open it, they both make a ringy like sound when you are nearby and arent far from the interor gate. There is another option on the other side of the city. you wont have to open a gate but you need to pay a fee of 25 notes to activate an elevator to bring you to the interor of the city from that side.

Tips:
The thing you wiped to was a buffed lionfish when you said you “blocked the cero” its not blockable you posture broke it meaning it cant attack
When you said your player was cold in reality its the tier 1 insanity which can be increased through willpower you died because in anchient rotlands it makes you rapidly gain insanity and if you hit to much you get insta gripped
Void zones auto send you to the depths when killed
If you can avoid all monsters in depths the big purple buff dude or a brootlord is what you wanna run from they do a ton of damage
if you wanna learn more on fighting mobs do to1 until you beat it the hardest wave is the enforcer which your gonna need to learn for depths trial
Once you reach a power level of 10 on any slot void walkers can target you they have a black aura and when they attack you its for bounties i dont remember you encountering one but if you do dont think that the games toxic its because your there bounty and they kill people for exp
for a new player i'm genuinely surprised you're doing as good as you did, keep it up!
Reason you died was because of the void zone, when you were hugging yourself you were actually insane and when you get to insane your head explodes. And since it was a void zone you got sent to depths immediately
deepwoken is all about pvp, you can never enjoy pve because random people would kill you just for breathing, thats why its difficult.

if u decide to play again (btw you did amazing on your first fight) you missed a boulder near the antiquarian just right outside to the left. there are some bosses like the ferryman (easiest boss for beginners) who gives a lot of xp and is pretty easy + gives good loot you will probably die on your first trys but you can heal during your fight if u place a campfire, he is located in an island inside of THE VOIDSEA behinds miners landing and to the left but be careful as there are some whirlpools near the island that will send you to the depths after head to the middle of the island and place 4 campfires in the 4 spots around the altar then light them all and you will be teleported to the arena to fight him, he has 30 000 hp (30x a sharko) and deals alot of dmg but he is rlly easy in the first phase. in his second phase his base moves get faster and he gains access to use grand javelin that does 2 bars if u get hit but they are easy to dodge and are dodgeable but literally walking to any direction that isnt theirs he throws 4 of them. in his 1st phase he has a lightning assult attack that is parriable whenever u hear the lightning near him strike. He has a lightning clones attack which he spawns 4 lightning versions of himself that will melee attack you dealing like 5 dmg so dont worry. he has a lightning strike attack that will get faster in the second phase but is really easy to dodge so long as you run and keep dashing (second phase 2x fast) in second phase the music will get faster (and arguably more intense) his base moveset changes from all the above to lightning strike, grand volley, lightning assault. strike and assault get faster and grand volley i explained

That blue bar of yours is Tempo, Use it to push away enemies if you can't block parry or dodge it.
They fixed the barrel strategy, theres an elevator on the other side on where you were (flat entrance).

if you make this in a series i want you to no something very important you no the campfires? you can make them by cuttting trees with a lumber axe then you but the wood you get form the trees then in the 3 boxes in your inv put the wood in one of the boxes then you can make campfires
