Easy powering guide (the way i get max power within 3-4 hours): First beat to1 and get ship from npc (there is npc that sells boat) then book hotel in etris. Then buy training gears and other stuff using notes (you can bank notes in bank so use that money), and go hunt island using boat (preferably merchant schooner) and do it until power 16 (you can sell stuff in merchant ships). And from there we are going to grind boss ferryman. Loot there is extremely good. So reset and spawn on etris go grab 99 wood and make flint and grab extra coal to make umbral flint when you get umbral stone. And after that use shrine to go to hive (not deepshrine). And find boatman's watch and place campfire and light it on, then farm until power 20. Note: You can cheese ferryman. Go off the battlefield when your hp lower than 2 bar and place campfire and heal. Ferryman cant reach you (expect from clones, and 1 move. Make sure him to go move after that move) And i reccomend you watching builds. Personally i use this build you Dragon king V2 (not v2.4). Join a guild and get officer rank so you have base that has literally have everything you need. Food and smith e.t.c Avoid mudskipper bloodlords (mudskipper brute is ok, you can see the difference in wiki) Sorry for bad english Edit: If you are going build that i recommend you dont get herectic's sutra. Its painful. 2nd edit: If you go island hunting voidwalker cannot jump to you so its basicly safer than normal prog. 3rd edit, Tip: If you maxed build and nothing to do, do bosses or layer 2 floor 1. 4th edit another tip: if you are getting jumped in depths you can jump into void when you are above 60%. (Vent and search for void to jump) so that way you will ve sent to layer 2. Better than wiping. 5th edit: For the boons and flaw i recommend getting simple for flaw and scrapper, survivalist on boons. 6th edit: if you dont understand anything i said just go search those things on youtube. 7th edit: Do talent quests. You can easily get chain of perfection from ferryman with maxed build. (Its way too easy for you since you are very good at adapting) Ok enough yapping when part 3???
I don’t know if you figure it out later down the road, but just want to mention that at 1:18, when you start talking about your boons & flaws, you can have two boons and two flaws. Now, if you really wonder what boons and flaws to go for, then the best way to go for flaws: Manic & Hemophiliac, Squeamish or Glutton. These flaws can be negated with talents - eg. Cauterized Wounds for Hemo, Carnivore for both Squeamish and Glutton, all the Mental Fortress talents and Grasp on Reality for Manic. For your boons: Steadfast, Survivalist, Autodidact, and Scrapper. Steadfast is good for keeping your armor durability (or the “HP” for your armor/outfit) and can be stacked with the Armor Conserver talent, Survivalist is great for exploring and fighting in harsh environments - for this will make you immune to acid rain, and resistant (not immune) to the effects of the Eternal Gale, Autodidact helps get you points that you can spend on your stats to speed up your progression, but you could be running a risk of being in EXP debt later down the road, and finally Scrapper gives you extra Aces that you can use to burn or freeze talents. TLDR; best boons & flaws: Survivalist, Scrapper, Steadfast, and/or Autodidact for boons. Manic, Hemophiliac, Squeamish and/or Glutton for flaws. You can only have two of each. You can press G to vent which is basically a evasive with your tempo (the blue bar that glows when in combat) and you can see if u have enough tempo to vent by the line in the tempo bar the yellow card erudition reduces the cost to vent

U should use deepwoken builder to do an build more accruacy. I got an build for u 50 agility 80 galebreath 30 strg 40 Will 40 ftd and 87 heavy. At to1 u well go 20 galebreath and 50 agility. After u are going 75 galebreath then 40 ftd and strg then willpower and 87 heavy to uncap both u need to defeat an boss to go 80 galebreath and 87 heavy. At 80 galebreath u well count each mantra each mantra is 1k notes to lvl up at lvl 5 on an gale traîner that can be found on isle of vigils There is oath in the game that can make u stronger the oath is jetstriker for the build this can be donc doing an race on minitrysa and to progress u wel find orb in the etrean luminant and retalk to him The orbs are at etris lower erisia towerstruck minitrysa and isle of vigils Hope this help u out
Bro your new that happens you should try deepbound origin its a depths origin that you and your diver players kill monster they got base in depths named castle light you need to talk to Akira to join the Divers faction but you need to have a lot of willpower and u need uncap it
It's easy to farm depths, look for stuff to kill in the city, if something like a squibbo (the thing that wiped you but stronger), broodlorde, and a king thresher, just climb up the buildings because they usually aren't able to climb it
you should learn how roll cancelling works, basically if you roll then press m2 during your roll, it cancels it and allows you to roll again and also removes the endlag on rolls and moves you less which is significantly better than a regular roll.
the mob that wiped you was a squibbo the way to kill it is using instant guard break weapons which all 3 classes, most heavys are instant guard break, for medium its clubs and for light its fists, then all you do is parry and crit if you miss a parry you can block and wait then try again, gl with the next vid man
quick tip for the lightning squibbo is to use a heavy weapon cause heavy axes have this thing called hyper armor on their critical attack which makes your critical attack unstoppable
the fastest prog method is diluvian until 12 then farm in depths until 15 then farm bosses like primadon duke especcialy ferryman you will hit power 20 in 2 hours

my advice is to look up a beginner friendly PVE build to learn the games mobs and bosses. crypt of the unbroken exp is INSANE (i got to lvl 7 to about 16 in about an hour and 14 mins LMAO)
Kill primadon and ferryman and farm at crypts of unbroken after trials and if ur comfortable u can try doing layer 2 u should also get diffrent origins like deepbound and voidwalker
the squibo ( the thing you wiped to ) is one of the strongest mobs ever you should run if your in the city but if your no there its gonna catch up to you
btw if you respond if you crit it a bunch it gets block broken and it only have a bit more health then a sharko since you level 16 and pve also scales with level a couple crits might have saved you but i dont this those should exist
