- Now that the Hyundai Creta N Line is here, we compare it to its cousin Kia Seltos X Line which already has almost same suspension and tyre setup. But which one makes more sense for a buyer. Both get the same 1.5L turbocharged engine, and both offer DCT automatic.
I think seltos looks better but everyone has a diffrent opinion

Yes, The extra 30K which Hyundai Creta N Line demanding is justifiable. Considering the front bumper, grill changes along with the Tyre profile (18inch-215 / 55 ) . Also the factory painted matte/satin finish. If you go for any after market modification that would be more costlier that this price hike. None of the reviewers never take into account regarding the customer service experiencing. Its not just buying a good car but also the after service plays a major role in keeping/maintaining the car. Wherein Hyundai has good track record for customer service compared to Kia's service center experience.

You forgot to mention seltos has one more additional feature: UV cut glasses which I think creta does not have

The fact that N8 is a great value proposition as compared to the X line or even Gt line of the seltos with a difference of ~2 lakhs, especially with the feature distribution the N8 has, makes Creta a great decision from the 🧠 while the seltos is heart❤.
I noticed that you did not fully disable traction control in Creta N-line (one tap for "limited", hold for 4 secs for "disabled"), and you steered to the right soon after launch which surely impacts the timing.
Btw, I own the Creta N-line DCT, driven it over 1500kms so far. The steering weighs up quite a lot in sport mode and not at all vague in high speeds.
The way it holds a gear before upshifts depend on the throttle inputs.
The way in holds a gear before downshifts depend on the braking input (it does engine braking by downshifting quickly while braking hard)
Suspension on the Creta feels more sorted despite running on 18 inchers unlike Seltos (my friend owns one)
Vague means even with the weight, the connect is missing. For example, If you drive Elevate, the steering will feel lighter but the connection feels more natural so weight is not at all related to vagueness
So you owned the N line even before it got delivered in most parts of the country and have driven it for over 1500Kms?

@@MrShreejoyhaha nothing as such. I had already booked the regular Creta turbo DCT with ex-showroom priced paid. Switched the booking to N-line as soon as it was announched so got the privilege of early delivery

Which vehicle has less wind/tyre noise inside the cabin?
Did you get to test the headlights? Which one of these two has better headlights?
Since they both use the same engine, I guess their milage per litre will be the same.
Personally I like the Seltos but since none of them have disclosed their safety ratings, feel-wise the Creta feels a wee bit better/heavier.
The Seltos feels lighter. The key word here is "FEELS'.

Great, great comparison. Although, looks alone are enough for me to go with Seltos. I was thinking of going with Creta because of a better steering setup, but Hyundai has disappointed.
Do take a test drive of both back to back. There's a clear difference in the way Creta handles and it's suspension behaves

At 4:15 you directly jumped to Kia's rear seat instead of starting with the front as you did with Creta. Nothing major but just a feedback that it causes confusion and had to rewind the video to make sense of it. I think jumping to Kia's rear seat from Creta's front seat and then coming back to Kia's front seat wasn't a great idea. Good review tho, cheers
That is because we wanted to start with the major differences. And not having middle passenger’s headrest is a big miss
The only thing that no one talks about particularly is that creta is way more comfortable than seltos . I am not a creta fanboy as such but i have drove seltos and creta both for a continuous 250km stretch, my neck and lower back started aching in seltos so yes i prefer creta for comfort like boy no way creta looks better than seltos but we have to sit in the car and travel distances so creta is the ideal choice for me. Plus i already own one creta from 2015 and it has done more than 3,00,000 kms and still it drives really well without any noise or problems. I did not really like the new creta and neither the previous facelift but with the n line they have notched up their game and looks.

In new seltos 2024 model they removed one touch up an down power window for all ... they kept only for driver .... they said for kids safety... I Don know why they removed it was so good

Few points - I feel Creta N Line N10 M that Manual Gearbox is a biggest deal to get it above Seltos and it's not that a deal breaker what Seltos gets above Creta. For a person who loves driving TURBO MANUAL Engine n Gearbox is above any features. One Touch Up Down is removed from Seltos in 2024 variant and HUD isn't a big thing at all.
One more thing when you are launching a car for 0-100, do it in a straight line and don't steer in first 2 seconds then accelerate straight. In that way the figs doesn't come accurate.
Earlier seltos used to come with manual in gt line and i purchased that over creta dct in 2021.
review and all are excellent.. but the backround music is too loud..i understand it was put in to add a soothing effect. but trust me , the bgm stands out waay too much. example : watch from 7.30 to 7.40 ish , u ll see the bgm is louder and more prominant than vikas's voice. just a feedback :)

Hi, i am living in Delhi and going to purchase Seltos DCT variant. My daily running will be around 70kms. Should i opt for Manual variant only or DCT will be the right choice keeping in mind the heating gearbox issue in traffic conditions. Is it fixed in new Seltos? Please do share your inputs asap.
If your running is around 70 kms daily then opting for DCT will be an better option, and i dont think there was an heating issue as such in seltos but i would suggest you to shift it into neutral on signals and long traffics

All major car branda have a signature front design or front grill. With Kia and Hyundai it is amusing to see kids running the design department and coming up with something silly every year.

I bought Seltos X Line Petrol last year in Nov. Everything is great about this car except for the fact that the mileage is pathetic.. doesn't give me more than 6 to 7 kmpl in city driving.. Have sent my car for this issue to their authorized service centre but to no avail as the status quo prevails..!!

@@ICN most of the auto expert says that creta suspension are better then seltos... creta feels more comfortable on bumpy road and it feels more comfortable on higher speed and according to them suspension is the one key where creta is better then seltos but here you said that even in suspension seltos is better then creta... now thats more confusing
That’s for non N Line version that gets 17-inch wheels and differently tuned suspension setup.

Kia Seltos X Line and Hyundai i20 ke front and rear suspensions same hain. And, since dono cars mainly city driving and performance focused hai toh ride me bhi similar feel hota hai. More or less, same tuning hai suspension setup ki.

My dad has a creta and previously had verna.. We have purchased xuv500 after verna but quickly realized the comfort level of hyundai is unbeatable at this price range, so purchased creta again.. However this time I am planning to own a vehicle and will surely go with seltos only because I never liked the design of creta and this new one looks more 🤮🤮🤮

Seltos is default choice of keyboard warriors (Most of them cant even afford it). You see sales numbers , you will see that Creta has twice the sales figures than Seltos. I would pick N Line Creta again if I were to purchase(currently owns SX IVT)
