    Nice tutorial. I picked up a few new things. It was a little vague in a few parts like when you hid the lines to remove the seam in the middle. I don't think you explained what you were doing there. Also, I think it would have been better to model a real bench or sofa. Something that has a real world application. But overall a great job.

    I also have to views (plan and elevation) and when I try to use the push tool to extend both the views, the second view I extend says 'offset limited to ...' and I can't extend it further than the edge of the first view I extend. Could you please help?

  • @grimall00
    @grimall00 9 років тому

    what is the name of the tool extension you used to instersect the groups. Thanks!

    • @JosephKim
      @JosephKim  9 років тому

    instead of hiding the mid line why dont u explode both of the groups ? and den delete the middle line

    Is the reason that the curves were made in CAD because shapes with complex curves are hard to do in Sketchup?

    • @JosephKim
      @JosephKim  8 років тому +1

      +greenspringvalley no, actually it was because my client only knew CAD. So he provided me the CAD file.

    hi, may i ask, where could i find the plug-ins?

    • @JosephKim
      @JosephKim  6 років тому

      Plugins are available through SketchUp's own Extension Warehouse or a website called SketchUcation.

  • @gianlucarandazzo9989

    what's the name of plugin that you use at min. 8:59?

    • @JosephKim
      @JosephKim  9 років тому

      solid tools. which is a native plugin for sketchup pro versions.

    when I use intersect tool they say the object not solid or locked

    • @JosephKim
      @JosephKim  8 років тому

      +Nadia Arista Probably not solid. If you have any extra lines or faces, it will prevent it from being a solid.
