Asia Minor is the Mother of Modes or Dromoi like the Lydian, Phrygian, Ionian...the first two are from the Lydians and Phrygians who together with the Lycians, the Caryans, the Leleges and others were the ancient populations of Anatolia. These peoples had their own languages and there are inscriptions on stones that are bilingual in the Anatolian languages and Greek. Hittite was deciphered and understood finally in the 1900s by a Czech linguist Hroznỳ. All these languages are now studied. The latest to be discovered was Thracian, inscriptions on Samothrace. Luckily one inscription is bilingual. The rhythm of these forgotten languages may be present in the music in the modes/ dromoi of Anatolia...because the modes also gave some rhythmical information.

The Anatolians are alive with us here today! They are both in Anatolia and in Greece and you can hear the music and see their dances. They are immortal! The wsstern anatolians are called Luwians by archeologists. These Luwians formed a league against Hellenic trade in the Black Sea. Troy was a watch post allied to the Hittites...Letters in Hittite were discovered showing this. The Thracians who helped the Trojans came from European Thrace and were related to the Trojans. Some Thracians settled in Anatolia in the region called Bythinia. Byzas was the Thracian leader who established Byzantium. Byzas exists as a last name in Greece.

Bourgault-Ducoudray wrote Studies in Greek Ecclesiastical Music published in 1877 in Paris. This work has a chapter showing how some of the Ancient Modes/Dromoi are actually transformed becoming the Byzantine echoi/HXOI. Later, Heatherley published a study at Oxford. In this book the Ancient Modes are given and shown to be the basis for some modes used in Ottoman music. Locrian for example is called ırak, in Greek is APAK.The Locrian mode taught in Western Europe is simply wrong because there are no microtones in Western music. There is much more to be said and shown but i must respect your space here. There are now more than 400 archeological sites in Anatolia/MIKPA ACIA.

1-I read your 3 comments. Mostly true. If you allow me, I will write my opinions. Turks came to Anatolia in 1071, before Manzikert. But they were either caught or killed. Those captured became Orthodox. If you open the letter T section of the phone book in Vienna, there are people whose first name is Christian but whose last name is Turkish. You will see many names/subscribers. For example, Alexander Türkoğlu. These are the people who were captured after the defeat in Vienna.
The year 1071 is the date when the Muslim Oghuz Turks came to Anatolia and did not step back. In 1071, Orthodox Turks and Armenians within the Byzantine Army of the Seljuks (the Seljuk Turkish emperor, but was of the Jewish religion) sided with Alpaslan. Anna Komnena, daughter of Emperor Alexios I, wrote this in her memoirs. "Christian Turks switched to the Seljuk side, and we were defeated"... Other historians wrote this as betrayal.

2-The incident in 1071 happened again in 1176. Who are these Christian Turks? After the Huns, starting from the 500s, Avar, Bulgarian (those who stayed in the Itil region were the first Muslim Turks), Pecheneg, Cuman-Kipchak and Uz Turks came from the Caucasus to Anatolia and Central Europe-Balkans. The Pechenegs were massacred by the Byzantine Empire on the other side of the Meriç River. After the destruction of the Avars as a state for 350 years, the Slavs, who were mercenaries within the Avar army, established their state for the first time. The Avars besieged Istanbul in 618 and 626, and the Patriarch and poets in Istanbul made the prayer they called BELLIUM AVARICUM. This prayer is still performed as the 6th hymn every Easter. It was said constantly in churches in Greece on the day Hagia Sophia was opened for worship. If you pay attention, it is in Italian, not Greek. Greek was not spoken in Istanbul and Anatolia until the 8th century. Due to sectarian conflict, the Eastern Roman Empire switched to Greek. The reason is that the Bible was first written in Greek.

3- When Turks are mentioned, only the Muslim Turks in Turkey come to mind. I think they asked the Estonian ambassador in a diplomatic meeting. The ambassador says, "I am Estonian, but I am a Karaim Turk." Karaites are from the Jewish religion. A new idea that started with Kostler is that Ashkenat Jews are Khazar Turks. This idea is John Hopkins Univercity and some Jewish Profs also support it. These people say, "DNA determines geography, not race. Turks do not need DNA. Its most distinctive feature is TUBERCULUM TURCUM and LACTOSE INTOLERANCE. Turks are the descendants of Japheth/Yafeth, the son of Prophet Noah."
Currently, there are Buddhists in Türkiye and the world.
Turks from different sects of Christianity, Jews and Muslims live. Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are Oghuz Turks. In Hungary, they say we are Kipchak Turks and they are members of the Turkish League. There are many Hungarian villages in Turkey and Hungarians such as members of parliament, teachers, professors, etc. Today, Uzebekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan They are also Turkish states. There are 38 autonomous Turkish regions in Russia. 42% of Iran is Turkish. There are 1.5 million Turks in Libya, 1.5 million in Iraq, and 1 million in Syria. Turks have not interfered with anyone's language or religion throughout history. Prof. D.Kitsikis also wrote and said. His wife ASPORÇA is next to the Orhangazi tomb in Bursa. He did not become a Muslim. The Christian Turks in Anatolia did not become Muslims either. The Seljuks and the Ottomans did not oppress him.

4-İn video Except for the last two songs, the rest of their songs have nothing to do with Asia Minor. The song that starts at 11.40 is known as a Turkish song all over the world. In fact, the American black singer Eartha Kitt released it on record in 1953 and sang it in Turkish.
      ua-cam.com/video/knRnnTpxI-w/v-deo.htmlsi=cbtiWuhpkvXGZvxo
It is actually a Scottish hymn, which was played by the soldiers who came to Istanbul for the Crimean War in 1856 and marched through Üsküdar Square in kilts. The Turks liked it.
The costumes in the video have nothing to do with Anatolia.
While the Treaty of Lausanne was being negotiated, Lloyd George, Lord Curzon and Venizalus introduced it as a project and insisted on it. The Norwegian Nansen implemented the project. They took 1,500,000 Orthodox from today's Turkey Among them 300,000 were Orthodox Turks who did not speak Greek. 479,000 people were given to Turkey from Greece. Among them, along with Turkish Muslims, 20,000 Sabbatians, 50,000 Muslims of Greek origin and Muslim Albanians, Macedonians, Vlachs, Torbezis, etc. There was.

5-Christian states tried to destroy the Ottoman Empire for many years. Starting from Romania, they started rebellions. Interesting events took place. But in Mora, they were successful in this rebellion. It was the Christian Albanians who started the rebellion. They dethroned Sultan Abdulhamid II, who wrote the Turkish National Anthem and was the founder of the Galatasaray Football team. One of those who downloaded it was the Muslim Albanians. Greek High Commissioner Aristidis Stergiadis, who came to Izmir on May 19, 1919, founded the IONIA state and University, and left Izmir on September 25, 1922, wrote in his book LAST EVENING IN IONIA, "March 25, 1821 is not the day of freedom, but the beginning of collapse." He says. Similar views were expressed by the Bishop of Piraeus in 1821. The way King Alexander and Constantine died is also very instructive. Who made these people, who lived together for approximately 1000 years, enemies? Who won? Who Lost? Why is this hostility still fueled? How long will it continue? Is it a coincidence that Venizalos' cooperation with the British in 1919, while all Greek soldiers and statesmen objected, and now his sister's grandson Mitsotakis' cooperation with the USA?
