Honestly these training videos make me want to practice more myself
Factsss
Right! Had my ass sprinting upstairs with stiff ankles 😂
The right training is the solution!
right
11:44 “Goodness gracious Ralph, i’m not even on the pods anymore” killed me 💀 😂
super funny afterwards
These videos have helped me so much in my Track Workouts, I'm glad that elite athletes such as noah are sharing their training regime and techniques with the rest of us!
Glad you like them!
Which is the consciousness of raising or lowering the legs?
Who can tell me how much weight of adidas prime sp2
@@noahlyles18Since you're the goat at 200m, I would like to know your thoughts on what shoes I should get for the 200m on grass and 100m on grass
@@Future.Star.he’s sponsored by adidas so he would say adidas. if you’re running on grass just use flats you shouldn’t be running with spikes on grass anyways
You truly are an ICON. Not afraid to show the less glossy part of life, not afraid of your opponents taking data from it. Big respect and thanks from Czechia
He definitely isn't an icon but he's great though
12:23 “Ralph I’m not even on the pads anymore”
Coach:”Yes you are” “C’mon i’ll show you how you can do this”
💀💀💀” He’s gonna show me how to push on air”
“Yep!” 💀
About to beat the world record by a whole second running on air 😂
“Trayvon bromellish”🤣🤣
Amazing how something as simple as running from point A to point B can actually be incredibly complex and nuanced. Sprinting really is a science of erasing hundredths.
You’re making access to elite running form and training information equitable via UA-cam. I don’t think I’ve seen this in depth of behind the scenes before from other track athletes either. Much love and good luck!
I don't know who reviews this page but I watched a tonne of Noah's races and he tends to sit in the blocks. We can put some of the fault on ankle stiffness in this session but what Ralph pulled him on was positioning. I may be old school but if he adjusts his position and loads himself over the line, gravity will assist his start. When you review the session check the positioning Ralph puts him in when he jokes about being off the pads, put him back in that position and get him to hold, adjusting his weight back until he feels the pads. Get Ralph back in and I bet you will see a difference. I am very excited about Noah as an athlete and what we will see in the near future. Stay blessed and thank you to the team for being so open.
It feels like we’re witnessing a historical moment. Greatness in the making. That’s how it feels
How lucky are we that we can watch this champion so closely. Thank you Noah and good luck at the world championships.
These guys study Bolt So Much 😂
Bolt is the standard. Should they not study him?
So who should they study ?
It’s crazy how much work goes in to a 20 second race.
The best parts are just seeing what practice and training is like and it’s unfiltered. As if the cameras not on you
Let’s go!!! Grassroots is back!!!!
More grassroots, let’s go!!🔥
When Noah breaks the World Record, these videos will become more valuable than GOLD. It's crazy to publish this sort of information out there for the world (competition) to see. This is going to be prized as the secret blueprint for any sprinter wanting to go from good to great.
Noah some of your videos,r so inspiring . Noah I think your start can improve, over the years , i saw some terrible starter, worst than yours, and they work on it, and gradually they start improve, and eventually they start to leaved , the blocks whit the best starters, so I know your start, can improve alot, when it come together u will be a force to reckon with, in the 100m., and Usain bolt 200m world record, will be under serious. threat.
We like your openness
2 golds in the bag baby, that's what hard work paid you
love these detailed training videos. banger
Love the training videos 🔥
Thanks for always showing us everything behind the scenes Noah.
I can’t express how much I love these videos.. so fire 🔥🔥
I’m glad you enjoy it!
Loved the video and all the behind the scenes work. Looking forward to your progress.
Noah - Awesome technical starts video! The details are what newbies need to become competitively fast by applying their God-given talents while minimizing their physical limitations. Thanks for sharing the secret sauces in your training regimen that make a real difference in your sprinting results. It's clear from your videos that details matter as there seems to be the tiniest of variances between you and your fellow elite sprinters. You've demonstrated here that making what appears to be an insignificant change in a chain or series of motions clearly can BE the DIFFERENCE between WINNING and not. Kudos!!!
Love these videos, absolutely want to watch more 🔥🔥
Your videos just keep getting better and better. Thanks for the motivation and some insight into the life of a sprinter
Love these amazing training videos 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing !!! Excellent work Noah!!
Love videos like this!
Love you Noah, you are a great inspiration for me :)
Look at Noah lyles man so inspirational
Love this content 😊😊😊
Hey Noah, thank you so much for showing us a deeper look into your training! You embrace challenges well and it makes it exciting and awesome to watch. This got me back into sprint training. So thank you!
The detail behind this is insane, it’s so good to see. Love to see the mechanics and technicalities behind this!
Those coaches are simply Amazing!!!! You are so lucky Noah!!!!
Noah, thank you for this access! Amazing that you are willing to share this! Excited for what is about to come! 💨
The problem is, if you're just repeating the same full power movement over and over again, your nervous system will basically get 'bored', shut down and get gradually worse. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had you altered the distance between feet, switched your front and back feet around, taken the back block away completely, done some blockless starts with arms behind your back (or up in the air), and then gone back to your normal block set up to see what would have happened. However, ultimately you're right Noah, it's not about who gets to 30m first, it's about who gets in the best mechanical position to get to 60m first (or 120m in the 200), whilst still relaxed and maintaining that top speed.
This video was great just like the last ones this grassroots series is great
Noah is the goat! he inspires me so much with track I can’t wait for track next year! Stay safe Noah❤
Thank you Noah. Grateful.
You're awesome. Thanks for your help and positivity.
Well said at the end of the video that’s the mindset you need to be persistent
Gotta say one more time I'm impressed with Ralph! He knows how to help you get that record! Let him do it.
Really helpful in seeing how to have a great start🔥
I went to junior Olympics last and going this year and I’m in my 2nd year of track I was 36 in the nation in the 100 and 64 in the 200 and I knew when I didn’t make it to the semi finals I had to work on my starts and I’ve been watching your videos and now I been doing very well in my 200s and 100s and now I’m also doing the 400
Extremely interesting from the athlete perspective, coach, and biomechanics. Very well done and awesome to see behind the scenes of a day when things weren't going quite right. Every athlete knows how frustrating that can be and it was really cool to get to see how you worked through it and reasoned it out. Thanks so much for sharing and good luck to you!
Much appreciated! Not everyday can be the best day. You can take the positive things from it and reset for the next day.
Keep ‘‘em coming! Awesome details!
i learn from you every time thankyou
Absolutely love this content! Simply amazing. I'm basically a covid runner pushing 40, but now dabbling in track with a running club thanks to content like this, ain't too late for anyone to benefit from this, greatness
Good ishhh Ralph! That's really how you get a fast start. You gotta be strong with a forward lean in the blocks.
Respect to these guys dedication, training and commitment. The amount if detail going on in this training is incredible 👏
I really like this style of training video because it really shows all the work that goes in to performing at above your 100%
Loved this video Noah!!!
love this
Learnt an absolute hella amount on starts just from watching this video and this is my weakest part of my racing ! Keep them coming from the Uk !
This was great, more vids like these please
EXCELLENT CONTENT. I THINK WE ALL GOT FASTER BY WATCHING THIS.
This was excellent. I learned something, the transparency is unprecedented , and I want to root for you even more. On to USAs and Budapest !
This is awesome
What a dope behind the scenes
U keep me pushing and love this sport Noah please break the record and then I will join you soon man
Seeing the tuning of the fine details on your start was super cool to see! Practice till you can't get it wrong!!! #letsgo
These videos are awesome!
Track was my first love! Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to beat the best!
I miss these days! My how things have changed in the last 25-30 years! With all these new technologies! I love Noah's dedication! He is definitely the 1%
Ty for these contents 💪🏻 keep it up!
He never disappoint his viewers that's the main thing. straight to the point that's it no bullshit nothing.
I’m not here to sugar coat anything. I made this channel for everyone to see all parts of a professional Track athlete
These drills seem very scientifically outgoing and interesting. Very nice !
Wow, never seen such insight into elite level practice.
Incredible video even from a long time distance runner viewing . . . the rawness was fantastic!it would be interesting to know how the different parts of your team help you fix the issue going forward. From coach to therapist and anyone else connected. Best wishes Noah!
You get to see in the next Unseen journey
@@noahlyles18 Thank you for taking the time to let me know! I'm looking forward to it!! Enjoy the rest of your day!!
Thank you for the video
It’s very inspiring that even when you are at the top there’s always something new to learn, to fix or improve.
Absolutely!
I wish ankle stiffness was my only problem with sprinting! Great video. Thanks for sharing this candid view of your training Noah
Noah congrats on your humility that is a tell tale sign of greatness. I can see why Usain Bolt passed the Torch of Greatness to you bro!
Great video Noah. Very informative 👏
Best wishes!
ima toe scraper my self...but what do your spikes look like after that session? also the "goodness gracious Ralph!" killed me 😂
Best grassroots
loving it,
Thank you for this great video. We've been using the drills video once a week to help sharpen up my 14 anfd 16 year old, who are more mid-D runners. This 'start' video was also inspiring - as my kids get to see the level of dedication, attention to craft and extended focus needed over multiple sessions to try and perfect something. Thank you thank you.
Outstanding video! Getting a closer look into the science and the art of world class sprinting is a truly massive missing link for T&F. Viewers get this type of in depth analysis in all the major American sports. Track definitely needs this.
Connecting you to the earth, aka "grounding", is quite real and recently studied/measured with instruments. The body is a magnificent electric driven machine. So is the Earth, not coincidentally.
Waiting for this for a long time😢
Great, video! Good to see part of your top training. I would love to see your gym work and form to learn from it! Or even simpler things such as the drills video :)
Putting that work in 💪 Great Motivational Vid🎉
Keep bringing this type of content
Go Lyles ❤🔥😉
Really great video!!
Great Detailed Video, Thank You
Glad it was helpful! ua-cam.com/video/awEL5pUXRi0/v-deo.htmlsi=8xWY7-al3qxZIY7c
Your start isn’t bad it’s just your hesitation of not wanting to false start! It’s all mental Brodie !!
From a research’s prospective, this video is a valuable lesson about the bridge between the field and the lab. Honestly, Ralph’s intervention in the blocks is quite complicated to understand. Though, the perspective he proposed relies on the fact that blocks are not necessarily a tool to push in the direction of the track but more of a standpoint for hip direction. Technically, ankle stiffness comes from biomechanical readiness and position of the hip. Consequently, your race is oriented form your start position. You did a great job of trying to understand your feeling throughout your adjustments. Keep on the good work 🙌🏾 This video was much appreciated. - Phil
