Going to get a set of these when I change my injectors on my 1990 240 instead of having the original injectors cleaned/rebuilt. If I can go as fast as you did, then I might have to put some roll bars in my wagon!
i think when you convert the older volvos computer system to a megasquirt system you can tune it for the newer injectors and get a noticeable power gain not to mention get that launch control for all that toque when you get on the freeway lol jk
@dn9979 not unless all 5 injectors are bad. which is statistacally improbable. start with the basics. does it turn over? is tge engine getting fuel? spark? compression? etc etc
My is misfiring and back firing badly. I made sure my ignition cables are plugged correctly again. I did a full tune up and replaced a bunch of old hoses. I checked the 25 amp fuse the fuse is good. The fuse holder however looks burnt gonna order a new one. Do you think it’s my injectors?
I would check the fuel pressure and fuel pressure regulator. Fuel filter. Make sure there’s no vacuum leaks. Injectors are maybe the least common. But maybe you can try finding another set or try unplugging them one at a time and seeing if there’s a change or no change. No change could point out that one is bad.
@@MesquiteAutomotive thank you I have the fuel regulator. Just need to swap it in. Car was pretty neglected before I got it. I also heard brake booster can cause issues also
Bo Vice for this particular car yes. some cars may have low impedance injectors with a resistor pack. on those car you need to remove the resistor pack before installing.
