I set my ac off with auto in climate settings. I love fresh air out of the vents, then in warmer weather I set it back to ac with auto. If I want ac with auto when I have it set to off with auto I just press the ac button to override my climate setting.
When you open the Toyota app, look at the bottom of the screen and you'll see the "lock - start- unlock" buttons. Hit the little arrow above that and the full menu of adjustments will come up including the heat and A/C plus you can turn on the light, honk the horn or hit a buzzer so you can find your car in a lot.
@@TrainerSteveClifford Found that screen no problem can turn car off and on along with unlocking and locking. Have been doing that for several days now ( had GH a week) but none of the other 7 icons below that do anything . Turn the car on and tried it then nothing happens.
On my 2023 Venza, there is a setting in the menus that says use AC with Auto or not. By default it is on which is why the light on the AC control doesn’t matter. If you turn off that setting in the menu, then the position of the AC on/off does matter.
