Messi's annual salary for 2023, as revealed by the MLS Players' Association, is $20 million. The base annual salary is $12 million. The media reports that it is over $50 million, but in reality it is much less than this. Conversely, if you look at the wage bill, EPL clubs spend more money than the media reports, with Manchester City spending more than 300 million pounds, and Liverpool and Chelsea spending more than 250 million pounds. (Please disclose player salaries, contracts, and salaries.
And why are some people asking
(there will be comments asking why I don't disclose my salary, but I'm an ordinary person. Are ordinary people and sports players the same? And there is FFP in European football)
La Liga also has a salary cap. If I were a soccer player.I would agree to disclosure of my salary. i am asian.
Why do people who are opposed to revealing player salaries say that some players have high or low salaries? Football's wage is It's an estimate and unofficial. . ,
commentators, coaches, and even other players in the league don't know a player's contract and salary...As a side note, Saudi money is exaggerated. A Saudi reporter said that Benzema's annual salary is $50 million. Jordan Henderson's weekly salary was also not what was reported in the media
Team annual salary and reveune were revealed on the UEFA official website. It was revealed that Tottenham spends a whopping 200 million euros and Liverpool spends 300 million euros on player salaries. There is a lot of difference from the media. (It seems like the salary is about 80 to 100 million euros more than the media reports.)psg.Barça spends 500 million euros. Leicester also spent more money than Sevilla in the 2022-23 season (but was relegated) What I'm saying is, please disclose player salaries. Haaland $50m seems right.. EPL salary seems too low. In fact, it seems to have been underreported
Nonsense
To respond to Jack’s comments about us thinking ‘we’ve discovered fire’ regarding Declan Rice.
We all knew he was good we just didn’t realise he was this good.
Arsenal: Saliba... Without him they crumbled last year, this year with him they're on top!
A. Villa: Watkins
Bournemouth: Solanke
Brentford: Wissa
Brighton: Gross
Burnley: No one
Chelsea: Palmer
C. Palace: Anderson (His defense is crazy good). People like to mention attacking players but defending is so important.
Everton: Braithwate
Fulham: Palinha( even though Robinson just uauu).
Liverpool: Alexis (no one else even close).
Luton: Doughty
M. City: Foden BUT Rodri 2nd ...
M. Utd: Mainoo even though Bruno and Dalot deserve it too
Newcastle: Isak or Gordon
N. Forest: Gibbs White
Sh. United: No one
Tottenham: Romero
W. Ham: Bowen
Wolves: Cunha
It is Mac Alister btw, Virg has been immense, but Macca has carried big time
Is this guy alright? Foden for ballon d'or?! Should be nowhere near it.
Rodri was the obvious pick for City, and he should actually be up there for ballon d'or.
Foden has been unbelievable. Better than Rodri. But I agree Rodri should generally be in the Balor Dor conversation
@TP-pq9xx
I don't disagree, but there is still a big difference between world class and ballon d'or.
He's not even the best player at his club, or national team...
Rodri's better, a fit KDB is better. Kane is better, Bellingham is better, maybe even Rice.
Don't get me wrong, Foden is an incredible talent and definitely has ballon d'or POTENTIAL.
But he should't be close to it this season in my opinion.
@@ryanyates4124
Foden has been nowhere near Rodri's level.
Rodri literally doesn't lose a game and whenever he's out City are in shambles.
On top of that, he also has like 21 G/A this season in all comps!.
The man is out of this world and actually BY FAR the best player in the world.
@@Jordy4610 If you're obsessed with Rodri, that's fine. But dont pretend Foden hasnt been incredible. He's been City's best player. The eye test tells you that
@TP-pq9xx
Ballon d'or doesn't care for minor trophies. It's about prem, ucl and euro's.
UCL is over and euro's would give just as much, if not more, chance to Kane or Bellingham winning it.
So Ballon d'or is simply off the table already for Foden.
Foden actually shouldn't be top 5. You've got Kane, Rodri, Bellingham, Vinicius, Mbappe and Wirtz all with a better shot for it than him.
De Bruyne indeed isn't in the conversation this year, I was just speaking about better players (which why I added the 'fit' part to KDB).
Foden was always winning FWP of the season. English and has an okay season
Arsenal-Rice
Aston Villa-Watkins
Bournemouth-Solanke
Brentford-Wissa
Brighton-Gross
Burnley-Koleosho
Chelsea-Palmer
Crystal Palace-Olise

Spurs-Son
West Ham-Bowen
Wolves-Cunha
Arsenal could have Saka, Rice and Odegaard
i think foden for man city player of the season even though rodri has been superb
Palmer has been good but Chelsea are still struggling. Mac Allister as come to Liverpool and suddenly we’re back contending for titles
Spurs have conceded as many this year as last year, which was their worst ever defensive performance, this lot 'Oh well it's got to be one of the centre backs'
Romero in particular has played getting on for every game of last campaign and this one as well. Literal insanity
Kovacic hasn't worked out?? Are you drunk?😂😂😂😂😂
4-3-3 England
Walker Stones Branthwaite Gomez
Mainoo Rice Bellingham
Saka Kane Palmer
shaw if hes fit over gomez and foden over mainoo
Putting Mainoo in starting 11 over Foden should be a death penalty.
To say Palmer start over saka for 🏴 is shortsighted at best and at worst ignorantly reckless
We know that rice was a great footballer , Arsenal made him be able to evolve to world class
Its clear they dont watch a lot of liverpool. I think Harvey Elliott has arguably been the most consistent and dominating from day 1
Odegaard is just a joy to watch
Arsenal POTS is Gabriel Magalhaes
3 sensibke guys on the show, Thank you Sky for bringing this lineup. They got Ball Knowledge
Jaackmaate!? Go on then
Declan Rice nearly gave the title away during the spurs game but god saved him 😂
Damn somwhat of a good list
What good list??? Rodri is City's best player and Odegaard is Arsenal's best player
@@eL--RaL i said somewhat i agree on rodri but rice is clear of odegaard
Jack mate looks exactly like jack shore MMA fighter
They crazy to not put Isak. He has the best goal to minute ratio in the league.
Most toon fans would say Bruno Guimaraes.
@@Rangy4859
Now Isak is on 20 goals. You agree with me now?
@@AyubHassan07 ok... you're looking at just numbers, not watching the actual games. All good, Isak has been class since coming back from injury
They picked correctly. It will be Gordon. He has been nailed on since the opening day. You will find out in 3 weeks.
Exeter mentioned on a sky channel. That’s our trophy this season utc 🔴⚪️😍🤣
I think Chelsea need to get Watkins in the summer he would be brilliant for Chelsea fc
Why would he go to a club not playing UCL?
28 y. o. player ? Bohely only sign 25 and below.
Fuad is right Odegaard is clear, insane player
Good group today, nice
Spends ages talking about all the other teams, gets to wolves and says 2 things 🤣
I don’t mind Jack, I’m a fan of the podcast but you can tell from his pics all his football opinions just come from what he sees on Twitter
Wissa has stepped up when Toney and mbuemo haven’t been there? He scored one goal this season when mbuemo and Toney haven’t been playing with him.
Imo (as a Spurs fan) Micky Van De Ven is the player of the season for Spurs
Who are these guests? Are we supposed to know who they are?
Van Dijk is the sole reason Liverpool will finish top 3. The only one not out injured at any point either. Of course even he looks like he will be tomorrow 😊😆
Soccer AM, Sunday Supplement this a cheaper, not better version.
Good show though!
For Liverpool Luis Diaz deserved a shout he's been our most consistent attacker
Love Diaz but Salah was levels above till that afcon injury then rushed back and injured straight after again. Hasn't been the same this season since that but prior he right up in top 2 on assists and goals. People have severe recency bias in football debates.
@brettpearce8843 I understand what your saying and I agree Salah was class in the first half of the season but I said most consistent and Diaz hasn't been injured and has been class like he atleast deserved a shout .
Diaz was pretty poor in the first half of the season, imo across the whole season not just the last month Nunez and definitely Salah have been better and more consistent then diaz
R u on crack
Picking EVERY Premier League clubs' player WITH THE BEST STATS of the season!
Ballon D'or for Foden, this guy delusionaaaal 😂
bro didn't even consider Murillo for forest. Gibbs-white doesn't even come close to Murillo
The worst statement in this entire video saying kovacic hasn’t worked out at city
I think Bukayo is beast for me wow look who played like that little

Bruno is an amazing player but even he would say his performances for united this season haven't been great. Dalot has easily been the player of the season for united followed by garnacho.
Jack Mate had his teeth done jesus, I'm blind
