You can easily rent a bike in Santa Monica on the paved path (Perry’s has multiple locations) and go for hours from the Pacific Palisades down to Venice. I do it almost every weekend and it’s such a gorgeous way to enjoy the day!

As an American who now lives in Manchester (for 2.5 years) I can say with 100% certainty driving in the UK is WAY harder. But I have to disagree with Holly, the USA has way better supermarket snacks than the UK. When in the UK I MISS goldfish and peanut butter pretzels, OH and EVERYTHING at Trader Joes! Also, the USA has squares bars. They are called ✨rice crispy treats✨and every Costco/BJs, Giant, and Safeway def have them.
Ooh how do you find Manchester! I lived in LA and now in London, potentially moving to Manchester in the summer and wondering what living there is like x
@@matcha_mage I really like it. It's obviously much smaller than London, but a lot of the population is young adults a) cause that's the type of city it is and b) because there a 4+ very large unis. I am a third year at UoM. Be prepared for terrible winter weather though (jan and feb aren't the happiest months). The people are great, the bars are great, and the airport is quick to get to for weekend excursions (only 20 min from city centre by train). You should take the train up sometime to check it out! Only 2.5 hrs by train!
We have some random stores that carry British imported snacks and candy! The selection isn’t amazing, but maybe fun to check out 😊 one being Cost Plus World Market (there’s one at the Grove)
My Dad heads to the UK in May this year all the way from New Zealand and I am going to ask him to bring back 2-3 bags of percy pigs back! I have never tried them but they do sound so yummy!
