I really appreciate the shoutout to us who have 9-5 jobs! Fitting in workouts with a job and commute is so challenging sometimes! I recently dropped out of my half marathon training plan bc I couldn’t keep up with it in this LA summer heat, and felt so crappy about it, but I gotta give myself a Pat on the back for doing the runs that I did.
My goodness, you have no idea how much I needed this video today. Lately the scales have been really getting me down and this was the reminder that I needed that the scale numbers don't equate to everything! Thank you for being you 🫶

I love this! And I love the amount of times you said 'Stupid scales' absolutely!!! I've been consistent in my journey for the past 8 weeks and my scales will constantly show me numbers I don't like. But now I can run 5k, I do kettlebells and yoga classes each week and I know my fitness is so much more than the number on the scale ❤

So what I did when I ate intuitively was I made sure each meal had a protein source it worked around. For example making sure my meals made was a chicken breast and then I built around it (adding in some potato wedges, salad, avocado etc) - but starting with a protein source first made sure I was hitting that macro with all three meals!xx
