FDA does not approve the compound version because ozempic and wegovy have to make money first before releasing the ingredients to the market. And the news supports this kind of action with this type of report.

From what I read, semaglutide and Trizepatide are allowed to be compounded when the commercial brands are on the FDA shortage list… as long as they are using pure FDA approved semaglutide and Trizepatide

Well, this is a good thing. Wouldn’t it be nice, if they would help diabetics get help? But, no. The FDA is garbage…staffed, almost entirely by employees of the pharmaceutical industry. From the top down, the FDA has been extremely corrupted. I learned that in a pharmacy class, at the University of Houston.

Why do we have a police force that focuses on parking tickets and J walkers but not a police force that patrols and prevent all the pharmacies on/off the internet sites that sell/make compound or fake medications?

There'a shortage because so many MDs are ordering these meds for women to lose 30 lbs baby weight or to fit into a wedding dress. These same MDs are also ordering ALL dose pens in one month on the same patients so they might find any dose if the one they are on is back ordered.

You hear that? It's your insurance companies fault for not paying $700 for a drug you almost certainly don't need. How evil of them.

There is only a couple ways to loose weight, eating less and tracking your calories as you eat and becoming more active to burn more calories than your taking in on an active basis. Even getting lap band or shrinking down the size of the stomach via surgery limits the amount of calories you can take in-unfortunately as in my mother's case, she did not follow through with the healthy eating part and it caused her more serious problems. Short of that, a serious disease like cancer or some other medical condition will effect weight loss as well. Most people refuse to realize a great deal of the problem is due to WHAT AND HOW MUCH THEY EAT! But everyone is waiting for that magic drug to fix the problem. Heaven forbid they actually address the real issue that is causing the problem...🤔

This drug works by making you less hungry, to make all that easier. That being said, its sad that fat rich people are making the drug inacessable to everyone.
