This was tough to watch. But this is a common fight scenarios for many people new to the game and new to the rules etc etc. it is important for the community as a whole to recognize that there are different levels of gameplay on this great game called total war rome2. Your commentary is spot on the arrows and tips and tricks are great. For many seasoned players and veterans they may scratch their heads but we were all like this somewhat when we first turned on the game. It is important for new and newer players to watch the replay listening to the commentary and know where to go and play and learn. I’ll be honest I couldn’t finish my snacks and drinks because I was like; no no no don’t do that! pull away from the pikes! And many other things….keep the sieges coming bud!

It is quite possible. The Carthage army was pretty good though.
Are there any units within the game that are statically good but when in combat they are bad?
Not really...? Basically, every unit has its strengths and weaknesses. Stats mean a lot for sure, but how you play is key also.
The state of Rome 2 multi (pub) is pretty bad... No one respects rules, and 0 coms is an hindrance 😑

No rules can be a thing commentary on how to break things like a pike stack with the attacking army would be easier to watch.
I did comment on that. Use javelins up close is a good way to kill the pike men. The attackers could have also used their own pikes on the street instead of on the wall. Plus, as I am sure you saw, the attacking armies were kind of bad

How do you get free camera so I don’t have to use Q and E to turn
free camera?
If you hold the middle mouse button you can pivot the camera, but it’s pretty limited.
I wasn't sure what the "free camera" was lol

These games are fun...when people arent extremely serious about the game and play off and on. Very hard to come by. In my experience most rome 2 players are dicks trying to enforce rules that benefit their side lol. Just play the game and have fun
I have to agree with you. Most people want to benefit only their side of the battle. You should check out my Fight Night streams or even my Total War lives. We make everything even for everyone playing.
