Dave, you´ve achieveded such a strong and influential trademark to your playing that a whole generation of drummers couldn´t help being taken by it and incorporating something of you in their playing. Now you are inspiring the next generation with even more power, knowledge, enthusiasm and energy than before, if that was possible. So for all that I can say without a doubt you are one of the strongest examples to be followed. Eternal thanks!

Really enjoying your Live lessons Dave. I wish I had an ounce of your talent but when I hear you explain and break down your parts It encourages me to sit down at the kit and have a go at something I never imagined I might be able to play. Can you put up a lesson on ‘The Zone’ sometime? One of my favourite Dave Weckl Band recordings of all time.
