Dave is just so good..... I'll never forget the immensity of his playing when I saw him at ACM in Guildford sometime between '05-'07. I distinctly remember, having been a long time fan, that the in-person experience of hearing him in a room was so much more dramatic and intense than any recorded solo or playing I'd heard him on.

    Thanks. Great show/lesson/hang/coaching *****
0:00:00 thanks for the very nice solo with a lot of rudiments on snare and applied to the drumkit and showing a lot of very nice stick control techniques and hi hat techniques.
12:18 the nice demonstration of controlled strokes
12:42 the open strokes with rebound and bounce
At 14:00 demo of the fulcrum/balance point position (not at index finger)
At 14:38 Moeller, wrist and arm motions
At 14: 50 Loose grip in stead of tight grip. Nice tone of sticks.
At 15:10 getting a big sound out of toms and cymbals
At 15:40 treat your body well
At 21:30 tuning the toms 4ht en 5th (together 4th+5th = octave between floor and high tom) and studio sound
    At 23:30 live sound
    At 23:10 muffling
At 25:15 Drumming for beginners / passion / art / study / your own sound
    27:20 Buddy Rich
29: 15 Chick Corea ....timing, communication (Paul Simon)
    33: 20 Mike/Michael & Randy Brecker timing precision & feel & sound

1:04:00 Studio producer requests; consistency, demo drum parts,
At 1:06.30 you say drumming rudiments make it sound like rudimental drumming or an exercise and not like music. It is like scales: you practice them and use them but they are not the music. Nice your demonstration of melodic drumming.
At 1:16: 33 you talk about a push pull technique.
At 1:17:36 you demonstrate a technique that Todd Suchermann names Flag Tap Snap.ua-cam.com/video/nbIcOaORrAw/v-deo.html He said drummers like Buddy Rich also use it.
1:23:00 thanks for the song in 6 with elements of 3 and 4.
    Great performance*****
