Ole Wennberg trabalha na Equinor (antiga Statoil) há 25 anos, na maior parte no setor de pesquisa. Ole é baseado no centro de pesquisa da Equinor, em Bergen, Noruéga. Ole vem trabalhando com caracterização de reservatórios, com foco em ocorrência natural de fraturas abertas, em projetos no Oriente Médio, norte da África, Noruéga Continental e pré-sal brasileiro. Ole Petter possui mestrado em geologia estrutural pela Universidade de Oslo e doutorado em tectônica pela Universidade de Bergen.

Ole Petter Wennberg has been employed by Equinor (previously Statoil) for 25 year and most of this time he has spent in research. He is located at the research center in Bergen, Norway. He has been involved in reservoir characterization with focus on natural open fractures, and projects have been in the Middle East, North Africa, the Norwegian Continental Shelf and also in pre-salt Brazil. Ole Petter has a MSc from the University of Oslo in structural geology (thesis about the Spitsbergen fold-and-thrust belt) and a PhD in Tectonics from University of Bergen (thesis about late orogenic extension in western Norway). He has published 24 scientific papers in international journals.
