Except for the Bad Company series, the story in the campaigns were very boring and dull, but the gameplay in them was great! They need to just refine the stories in war stories, and make the gameplay real and engaging like they did in bf3. BF1 did a decent job with the war stories, and the new Last Tiger war story was absolutely amazing plot wise, so they just need to combine the short but sweet true stories of war with the amazing singleplayer gameplay from the previous battlefield games, and they would have a masterpiece.

The earthquake sounds at 02:38 and 06:27 are incredibly realistic. Earlier this year there was a big earthquake in Croatia 🇭🇷 where I live, and months of tremors after that, and these sounds in the game sound so realistic that I got the chills being reminded of those middle-of-the-night tremors. (The earthquake really made an impression on people because it never happens here)

I was playing this as a kid when the earthquake I thought there was a real earthquake happening so I yelled get down and nothing happened and I felt ashamed as I was having a house party.
I remember playing this game for the first time and thinking the graphics were absolutely amazing. They definitely re-release this with modern graphics.
Despite this game being pretty old it still looks amazing. I think it has to do with how alive and smooth all the NPC’s and player’s actions are. I loved this game and have many fond memories playing the multiplayer; my favourite map was the subway tunnel because it was so chaotic! Campaign was super fun too. Thank you for uploading 🙂
Raze I think it’s cause Montes was an Navy EOD in the game or something, since those guys are often borrowed by Marine squads. Captain in the Marines are equivalent to LT in the navy(O3) so maybe he just messed them up lol.

Surprisingly, now that I think about it, there’s not too many Middle East based war games. I can only think of this (BF3) and Spec Ops: The Line. I mean, I don’t remember the MW games too well, but those went all over and ended with makarov hanging. Sure there’s missions in games in this area, but at this time I’m early 2010s, they mostly went to Russia or usa in the end.
Well you could argue BF3 went all over the place too. From here, to Paris, to Azerbaijan, and a bit of New York at the end. The original Modern Warfare was about the same, being set in the Middle East, Russia, Azerbaijan again, and a cargo plane. I vaguely remember quite a few Middle East shooters coming out during the PS2/Xbox era, when the War on Terror really kicked off, but most of them are pretty mediocre games not worth remembering. Really hyped to try Six Days in Fallujah tho

When I played this, I noticed how the Iraqi flag is the old one with stars even though the game takes place in 2014. So could this hint that the Iraq war never happened in the Battlefield universe or it did but the Ba'athist Party wasn't over thrown? Or is this just a common mistake or international design because in COD: Advanced Warfare the Iraq flag is also the one with stars too even though that game takes place in 2054.

Remaster this absolute gem of a game allready!
When I played this, I noticed how the Iraqi flag is the old one with stars even though the game takes place in 2014. So could this hint that the Iraq war never happened in the Battlefield universe or it did but the Ba'athist Party wasn't over thrown? Or is this just a common mistake or international design because in COD: Advanced Warfare the Iraq flag is also the one with stars too even though that game takes place in 2054.
