I love watching stuff with you all it's your Channel talk as much as you want got people over exaggerating that you take 3 hours to say a sentence videos not even 3 hours long so I don't even know what they're talking about
I've seen all 10 Planet Of The Apes movies; the original from 1968 & its 4 sequels, the reimagined movie, & the 4 reboot movies. There is 1 element in particular I love about this movie that always bothered me about the original franchise. In the 3rd movie from the original franchise we learn that a virus wiped out all pets so humans trained apes as pets & servants, but then in the 4th movie they rose up against the humans. Over time the apes got smart which led to the events of the original 1968 movie, but it was never explained how or why humans became dumber than the apes. Here, it's explained that the virus that made apes smart while wiping out most of the human population mutated & started making the human survivors dumb, which was a clever explaination to that problem I always had about the original 1968 movie.
I like that the modern series is unique enough that they don’t have to follow its predecessor. I don’t completely remember original Caesars uprising, but I found the backwards time travel a little confusing at the time.
The first original was great. The second was probably the worst movie I’d ever seen lol. I can’t believe they made more but I still haven’t brought myself to watch them though I do know the premise of the third one. And that Tim Burton one was a joke. So you can imagine how jaded I was about watching this prequel series, but I was bored and out it on a few weeks ago. I cannot believe how good they were, and that I cried over CGI monkeys watching this one lol. I can’t wait to see the new one. Though with it being another new director, I’m a bit worried about it losing the same feel these previous two had. Hopeful, tho.

With her role, we see the first true reversal of roles of human and ape. To think of it simply, imagine you find a puppy. You can't keep it, but it's alone...it gives you puppy eyes, comes close...tries to show they are good. So you take them home. When you are doing something, you look over, puppy is staring. The puppy can't talk. Maybe the puppy has a name, but they can't communicate what it is. So, you name the puppy.
The film wrote her as if the apes were human and she were the ape. It's so smart how they did this. No reactors ever speak on it...but you two did before I even finished typing this. 😊
Lake was blue eyes wife. And it’s crazy how the guy ceaser spared in the beginning, end up being the one to kill ceaser in the end ..😔

Hi thankyou for reacting to part 2 of the trilogy that is Rise, Dawn and War and now the new one Kingdom. Andy Serkis is amazing as Caesar. I cried at the cinema watching this it’s the only movie i still cry while watching it and i’ve seen it countless times now and it still affects me. People don’t get War for the planet of the apes they were expecting a full on war with the soldiers like the beginning of the movie but i think the movie is about the War inside Caesar. Up until now he’s tried to work with the humans and it hasn’t worked then when his family is killed he wants revenge so he acts like Koba he’s trying to find a balance again. I hope you stocked up on tissues because Caesars death will hit hard especially if you care about him and the other apes over the humans. Kingdom (the new film) is amazing too. Owen Teague who plays the protagonist called Noa does a great job using motion capture. Andy Serkis set up ape school to teach the actors how to move and act like apes. Apparently, the Colonel shot and killed Malcom and his family off-screen for protesting against the war. Really sad, they should have mentioned it in the movie but it still makes me hate the Colonel 10x more.

@@KorbinoHarlow Yeah. I was wondering this whole movie why he didn't just take out Caesar soon after he captured him. If you capture the leader of an enemy faction, you don't keep them alive. You make an example out of them in front of everyone and then take them out. To keep the alive is too much of a risk, as they can spark an uprising and/or defiance among their group. The maon argument to not do so is that the apes wouldn't have worked otherwise, but they most certainly would have... because they would have to. Also, the apes turned their backs on Caesar when he first got there. To take him out then would have been the opportune time. The only reason he kept Caesar around like he did was for the plot to happen. Because in a real world scenario, he wouldn't have been.
Also, I was irritated that Woody didn't at least attempt to take out Caesar right at the end before he took himself out. There's no reason not to at that point, and it would have better suited his character's ideology. But they had to have an emotional moment or learning or whatever in the movie, so they didn't write that to happen 🤷♀️

16:17 Orangutans I think are the least scariest among the apes. They are so maternal and caring. I always remember one time I was at the Zoo, there was a toddler playing around looking at an Orangutan from behind a glass enclosure, and the Orangutan looked at the child the same way like Maurice's and she leaned in against the glass closer to the child ❤

That's fine but you really speak too much : there are several sequences you don't react to because you do 3 hours long sentences... It is pointless... You often can say the same the same thing in a shorter way but you take too much time to tell 3 sentences instead of a short one to say the same thing, and it is very frustrated for us, viewers
