For an old guy like me this is a treat. To see Booker T, Steve, Duck, and Sid, Anton, Paul and very very young looking Will Lee, this really brings back some good memories.

If you think cow bells rock you obviously haven't heard COWBELTS. Here's a tip you probably have never heard of this band I'm going to tell you about. They are a collection of some of the most talented musicians in the business. Most of them have Grammys. Yes Grammys plural. They play and have played with about everyone in the music business since the early 90s. They tour nearly year round. They have to swap out players at times depending on their studio work and or tour dates with other groups. Due to contracts with other groups and labels they play in total anonymity. They are called Here Come The Mummies. Back to the COWBELT. Search UA-cam for Here Come The Mummies Bob And Tom Show Funky Little Baby. You will see and feel the groove of the COWBELT. If you are a music lover you will appreciate their talent even if their style isn't your favorite. If you have a sense of humor and appreciate their talent you will be a fan for life. If you are easily offended and don't love music or appreciate their talent don't bother and I wish you the best. Hopefully it won't be too painful if you decide to have the stick removed from your rear end. Hopefully you will dig what they do. They've had over 119 band members since they started and I believe they released their 60th album last year. Enjoy

He did, but he’s playing bass here. Why Will is cowbelling.

Classic very funny, those were great days when the BBC had the cricket. This tune just about sums up summer too. If only Booker and the MG's knew what gates they opened with this one.

It’s hard to be sure because the bumper is so short, but I believe that’s “Time Is Tight” they’re playing at the beginning.

Yes on SNL but not with Booker T. himself. Paul missed out on the original Blues Brothers movie due to performing on Gilda Radner’s broadway show Gilda. Regardless, it was a special thrill to perform with them on Late Night.
