I've been watching all these other youtubers paint these waves and there was a big difference between you and them. You actually teach. 12/10 I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS.
Very cool, thanks! Going to go try this after watching the first two videos, I'm more of an airbrusher but have some acrylics/watercolors/brushes over the years collecting dust. I'll watch the rest later.
gosh --- i hope i get this sometime soon :) you rock.... speaking of rocks... I am trying to paint rocks and figure out the highlights and shaded areas on those too! i bet it just comes with further practice and "CLICK" -- understood :) thank you so much Joe! really helpful!
I’ve always kind of done it..the birds eye view up close and a stretched out view further away...but you articulating that for me saves me from a lot of headaches lol thank you.
very useful video thank you. Glad I found it! I like your tutorial skills, Do you have online classes though? or full tutorial videos? I pressed the full-length video link but unfortunately, the method of payment is not working, they are not proceeding me to the next level.
amazing talent really wonderful tutorial, may i ask what kind of paint do you used on that? is that oil acrylic? thanks for sharing of your video sir its really help us
very cool joe! so when youre painting the very distant waves out near the horizon, do you paint more blue reflective colour than the highlight colour, or more highlight colour than reflective blue, or what? the video was cut just a bit too short for me to get what was happening there! cheers joe! :-)
Shedz Channel I think it gets brighter, but then darker again at the horizon line itself. Looking at reference pictures really helps understand how your light should be!
Bonjour je découvre votre chaîne, vos vidéos sont superbes. Dommage qu'il n'y a pas de sous titre en français, bien que vos vidéos sont très explicites. Bonne continuation.
Hi How can I get in touch with you? underwater, wave, and cloud is the exact subject I want to paint, but I don't have much foundation, I feel a bit overwhelmed how to get started.
Hello, could somebody explain me what is hue red? (if I understand well in the vidéo).I had done some researches, but it's hard to understand what is hue. I finally thought it is primary red, but it isn't if i whatch the video. It's very difficult to understand cause my English is poor. If you now the equivalent in french it would be very nice!
Nathalie -LeLabO Bonjour, "Hue" correspond à "imitation" pour les noms de couleurs en français. Ce sont souvent les cadmium qui sont des imitations, car le cadmium est un produit toxique, c'est donc une imitation de la couleur.
kp1832 phelan I personally generally plot out where I want my waves to be and then build around that to make it realistic. So like in his first wave video with the smiles and frowns I’ll plot all of those and then work with that like with what he’s doing here. I also step back a lot so I can look and see if it’s reading correctly. Also it’s hard to not over blend, which is where I make the most mistakes.
I like this instructor. He teaches theory and not just technique…anyone can attempt to imitate but to know theory is really learning. Great videos
Man how can I have talent like him 😮?
Colour mixing ON CANVAS, I love that. In fact I love the way you explain everything, the viewer believes you care. And this is paramount.
Que tinta usar para da efeito no desenho em parede. Tendo envista que tinta seca rapido.o que psso fazer.

Sandip Bhattacharjee yes, it’s oil! The brush is medium sized flat, not angled. I don’t know the exact name.

Merci beaucou! Je n ai cependant pas compris pourquoi, est ce à cause du pouvoir couvrant? ( d'aprės ce que j ai cru comprendre sur le net.)
I need to practice more.
WHERE İS THE END ?
I feel like I screw up the waves of the ocean.? Draw it first or paint.?
