Another excellent video.....good comments....clear and steady video. I don't think you need the music because it's a bit annoying and interferes with your verbal directions. Thanks for helping us. Tim in Colorado
Brian what suggestions do you have for getting the blower for AC/Heat up and running? I already changed the relay that is above the glove box. Is it hard to change out the actual blower motor. Great Video.
Hey Brian, Just wanted to Wish you and, your family Happy Holidays. Looking forward to many more fine how to and reviews in the year to come! Thanks Shane
Thank you for the video so is it possible just to disconnect a couple warning lights? I have a short in the brake warning and seat belt lights, brake warning flashes and beeps constantly if my Silverado isn't stopped
Brian. I have a 1985 Chevy G30 van. As I understand it, they were all essentially the same from '68 though '96 but from '97 onward, Chevy trucks and vans have substantially different. Any tips on accessing the instrument cluster on an '85 G30? Thanks.
Is this the same for Chevy Express Vans i have a 2002 and needa replace the bulbs on the cluster and climate control module there all pretty much burnt out
I'm thinking of doing this to my 97 Tahoe. What all is involved after the installation? Any programming of the CPU and/ or legal issues do to incorrect mileage. I'm not selling it ever (its a 2 door lol). Just curious, thanks.
Hi, there away to put in an after market stereo and still control with the steering wheel?

_Hi, there away to put in an after market stereo and still control with the steering wheel?_ In case you haven't figured this out yet, yes, there is. But you would need to buy an adapter for it. www.crutchfield.com/p_249CSGMC2/Crux-CS-GMC2-Wiring-Interface.html
Don't you think it would be a very good idea to turn the key switch off before removing the plug to the instrument cluster? You did not cover this point and removing plug with power on can do irreparable damage to the instrument cluster.
DIY Brian: Great instructional video. It got even greater when you knocked off the crappy music near the end.

Did you happen to see what they named the truck?
Thanks for sharing. I'm more confident now to remove my dash cluster. 👍 🇨🇦

Awesome thank you very much
How long does this take in total?
What size socket man??
Great Video!
Isn't it bad to disconnect the cluster while the power is on
+badranger2004 On some makes and models like the Toyota it can cause some issues...However 06 and older GM you are OK.
Awesome! Thank you!
need to remove wire harness, from the airbag controller up into the dash
I didn't ask how to remove Cluster panel
I forgot to mention that the repairs need to be made on a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 Pick up.
😊
I would of thought to disconnect the battery first to eliminate battery drain.
