Should have mentioned in the video, but this is the global version running Funtouch OS. Apparently, an update has just dropped for the China/OriginOS phones that allows for 4K30 and 4K60 on the selfie camera, so I'd imagine that will becoming to the global model soon too!
Hi and thanks for the excellent video. I own vivo x100 pro and it is the best camera phone ever used (much better than any samsung or iphone) I have a question, I cant find how to trigger the shutter using the volume button? If there is no way to do it, is there any bluetooth trigger you would suggest?
Yeah I haven't seen that option either. I don't know too much about remote triggers tbh, I've only really used the ones built into gimbals. I'd imagine most would work. The ShiftCam Pro Grip looks awesome but I haven't tried it.
Thanks. I don't own the phone, still enjoyed the video. Sad that slow motion has bad quality. Is it noticable if you turn off image noise reduction and stabilization in video effects?
Yeah it's still noticable. To be fair, the 120fps slow mo looks good, it's just the 240fps that I found disappointing. It somehow looks lower resolution, almost like its upscaled 720p. Still, it's good enough for Instagram and the like.
@@NEONAIRSHIP Thank you, man. That's great to know. Unfortunately I have noticed in other reviews that, in lowlight zoom videos, it would crop into the main sensor instead of using the tele. By using the Pro Mode at night, I think this problem should be solved.
Hey there, great video BTW, I'm torn between x100 pro and xiaomi 14 ultra... The vivo seems to win in low light photography but xiaomi does have some Videography tricks up it's sleeve (movie mode, mastercinema, log), was wondering which would be better for low light Videography...?
I haven't been able to try the 14 Ultra properly yet, but i'm hoping to get hold of it soon. Looks promising but if it's anything like the standard 14 it'll be a bit behind in stabilisation. Hopefully Xiaomi can sort that with fw updates!
Thx, only interested in video as I use a Vivo X70 Pro+ to make YT vids (love it but 3 yrs on looking to upgrade). Waiting until the Vivo X100 Pro+ or Ultra drops next quarter & also hope bluetooth sync to Mic 2 is a ok by then.
Interesting why they are not adding 4k 120fps, even last years zte z50 with snapdragon gen 2 had this, and older sony phones too. It's definitely not a hardware limitation

Can you switch between front and back camera while recording video? Can you record dual video view like directors view with samsung?

Definitely looks like it's using the tele as the perspective shifts slightly. Tested indoors in fairly low light conditions too. Hope this helps!

Is it not possible to record hdr video with the rear cameras?
Good catch, there's no dedicated HDR toggle on the rear cameras, I believe it kicks in automatically.
