After nearly 9 years on iPhones, Im switching from the 12 pro max to the OP12, 16gb ram and 512gb storage emerald green. Arrives tomorrow and I cant wait!
Hopefully I can readjust to Android quickly, as its been so long. But once I saw what OP12 delivers, and at $500 lower price compared to the iPhone 15 pro max (for the same storage), it was a choice of the heart and the mind! And Im done with my phone overheating after 30-40 min of gaming, or when shooting photos and videos for longer periods outside, or when flying my drone, as the screen dimms so bad it’s stupid.
Any tips guys for the android 14 or OP12 specifically? I can’t wait for tomorrow!

@@thetechphenomena bro ive been using x100 pro for 3 days now, and I tottally get what you meant!!
Animations arent laggy, but feel like it.. I think it also has to do with how rough the screen feels, compared to s23 I was using before. Disabling animations completely also doesnt work, cause seems like funtouch is really not optimized for animation-less use. Personally, Im very underwhelmed with the UX. The camera is next level, but almost everything else sucks.

The reason OP12 and Vivo X100 Pro seem similar regarding screen brightness is because OP is not entirely fair to customers and the smartphones market. That 4500 nits brightness is not only peak brightness, but it's also measured when only a tiny part of the screen is lit to allow all the power to go to that tiny part of it, they could even use a SINGLE pixel to measure 4500 nits in HDR mode. That is impossible to ever happen in real life usage and is simply a scam. Lab tests of this screen tested around 1200 nits in normal conditions (the whole screen lit, usually white color used for testing) and around 1500 nits in vivid mode. Guess what? In the exact same test Vivo X100 Pro got around 1500 nits, too. Vivo of course also exaggerates with 3000 nits, but at least that is more or less comparable value to what other companies advertise, so we know it's basically the same. OP wants to stand out, but it's just a lie.

    A.I The Time Saver -
💡 The design of the Vivo X00 Pro and OnePlus 12 is fundamentally different, with the X00 Pro being formal and classy, while the OnePlus 12 is polarizing and stylish. This difference allows buyers to choose based on personal preference.
💡 Both devices have impressive displays, but the OnePlus 12’s Dolby Vision for HDR provides a better visual experience, especially when watching content on platforms like Netflix. However, the difference in maximum brightness is not significant in real-world usage.
💡 The software experiences of both devices are considered the best in terms of Android, but they offer different customization options. The OnePlus 12’s animations and live wallpapers feel slick and faster, while the X00 Pro allows for more intricate customizations and has a unique camera app.
💡 Both devices perform well in terms of battery life and daily usage, with the OnePlus 12 having slightly better battery life due to its standby time. The performance of both devices is excellent, with no issues in using the cameras, editing photos, or other tasks.
💡 The standout feature of the X00 Pro is its camera capabilities, which go above and beyond any other smartphone. It offers three color profiles, unique camera app features, and exceptional photo and video quality. This makes the X00 Pro worth the higher price for those who prioritize camera performance.
