When shooting a promo photo set for a band, are you going into with a real plan? Or just pressing a button?

How do you only have 450 subs? wtf... really good info about approaching branding for a band, something that most people forget to think about when making a band... the band is your brand, your product, your personalities ... all of them are connected change the way people listen to and view your music and everything impacts the way listeners and labels/festivals see your band. If you take care of these things everything is going to be: 1. Easier for the band to succeed, if they map the steps clearly. and 2. For the labels to understand that you're willing to put in the work, that you see more than just "I have good music and I want it to pop", the music industry is so much more now, and that's why your point is really important now, promo sessions worked perfectly 20 yrs ago, the promo catalog is what helps you stay relevant, or why not elevate the brand of your band, by putting out new and interesting content more often.

yes promo catalog for multi use. I have learned that idea from others but they didnt use that term. promo-catalog is a good term in my opinion.

As a musician and photographer, I've been trying to convey this to bands for years... They laugh when I say bring changes of clothing, but I want them to be able to spread their photos out to have constant content

Love the shots, only issue with giving a band one shoot that covers 4 months, is that now you've just lost 4 months of income.. that band won't need you for that long... so do you price a large amount to cover your expenses for 4 months? Just curious.. like I said nice work, love The shots.
