May this weapon strike true. May it be wielded with wisdom. May it be put down when it's job is done. True to Brok's character, the blessing is a simple, straightforward one, but it seems appropriate for Kratos, who doesn't initially want war with Asgard and just intends to use the spear to protect his son, therefore put it down after it's job is done. Though of course it doesn't play out like that... And of course with the Draupnir taking the form of a spear is appropriate fro Kratos, since it's the first weapon any Spartan learns, and it would be almost like an acceptance of his past by picking it up.
SPEARS ARE the most Basic weapon IN ANY CULTURE and civilization, not swords as its famous today. And Thats because Nobody wants to remain close to the enemy as they ARE killing them in formation. Swords where the last resource weapon. You may confer Homeric Poetry, the Mahabaratha, the Sumerian texts and the Edda tô confirm that. Oddins weapon of choice was the YEW SPEAR Zeus thunder was compared to a SPEAR. ITS ubiquous
@@pauloamaral6069My two cents here. It was even universal before the civilizations. The universal weapon from prehistoric. The ultimate hunting weapon even kills Mammoth.
@@PaPa-kr5yt TRUE. ITS a Basic WEAPON bro, ITS logical: we would sooner fight with a Stick with a pointy Edge than with a knife on close combat. Hey thanks for doing my suggestion. 2:37 is so underrted, sadly most gow fans will never know this exist. The mermaid scene teme is awesome, and 6:54 hits even harder when you know what happened to brok
When I got my PS5 bundle with Ragnarök I was listening to this game’s OST back in November. Here we are in May, I got the platinum during my first play-through, and still am listening and getting so hyped. I love Santa Monica.
Have you ever noted that every time Norse Kratos has picked up a new weapon, it has been to protect Atreus? No longer does he fight for vengeance. He fights to protect his family.
I like how we, the player, never hear the mermaid. No one in that room has a soul. Kratos: sold his soul to Aries. Mimir: dead but reanimated. Brok: missing a key part of his soul.
The language used by the dwarves may be khuzdul same language as in ring of power😁😁 Because Mr. Bear McCreary He's also the one who made the music for Ring of Power and God of War.
must wait one day Someone will make the lyrics for sure. As for me, I'll wait and see Runiko's. Because he has translated all the lyrics of God of war 2018 album already.55😁😁
When Brok said “It’s draupnin’ time” and Kratos gave an agreeable grunt… *I felt that.*
And then they both draupnired all over the bad guys
Truly the moment of all time
draupnir spear think he spear of destiny🤣
I love how most of the chapter titles are jokes except for "Brok's Blessing." Just pure respect for our guy.
Wait really?
BRAUDNEFR 😅
I loved the part where Kratos jumped on Heimdall with his new spear and said, "Sorry to Draup in unannounced"
"it needs a blessing of a great blacksmith" -kratos while bowing to brok.
I'm not crying you are crying
"What?... Nah. Nah, I can't bless shit."
May this weapon strike true.
May it be wielded with wisdom.
May it be put down when it's job is done.

11:28 Didn’t know I needed that smooth incorporation of the original Svartalfheim theme with the Draupnir theme until now.
11:28 By the beard of Lord Kratos, that hurdy gurdy hits harder than Mjolnir!!!
"Sindri get the drip" is what I say everytime that scene plays.
I... I just can't with these chapter titles man.
May this weapon strike true.
May it be wielded with wisdom.
May it be put down when its job is done.
"The spear is the first weapon a spartan uses" remember these words along with the music at 6:09
Great work as always O-NG5T!
5:58 is absolutely incredible
It is the first weapon a Spartan learns.

This mix has the blessing of a great blacksmith.

The last minute of this track is beautiful. I love the vocals.
"it is the nature of a thing that matters. Not its form." - Kratos
Missed opportunity to call brok’s blessing “brok’s blessing… with a side of curses”
Nah, just leave it as it is. Respect to the man Brok.
@@futabafanclub BRAUDNEFR!!!! As he would say.
Amazing job. Thanks for bringing us these excellent unreleased pieces.
Really like these mixes brother! Each one is so smooth and the remaster especially!
Brok's blessing is absolutely just....mwah chef's kiss, Thankyou for uploading this :)
6:13 🔥
Glad to see my screenshot being used for the Thumbnail
It was too good to pass up
This is actually the best OST in Ragnarok 🔥🔥🔥
12:10 IS BEAUTIFUL 😲😲😲😲😲😲💥💥💢💯💯💯💯💯🤘🏻🤘🏻👍🏼👍🏼
Your timestamp names are the best lmao.
Have you ever noted that every time Norse Kratos has picked up a new weapon, it has been to protect Atreus?
No longer does he fight for vengeance. He fights to protect his family.
Awsome work. Brok would be proud.
I take it this ain't your first time with a spear!
It is the first weapon a Spartan learns!
Well, hell! Ain't this just like old times, then!
I like how we, the player, never hear the mermaid.
No one in that room has a soul.
Kratos: sold his soul to Aries.
Mimir: dead but reanimated.
Brok: missing a key part of his soul.
Kratos probably got his back after he killed Ares.
Then how did she know that Kratos was standing in there?
Is it because he’s a god?
Kratos didn't literally sell his soul; just metaphorical for his servitude
Kratos has two souls, one of his own and one of Hades
4:42
Love it
Waiting for the day someone releases the lyrics for the Svartalfheim theme 😖🙏
Waiting for the day somene releases any of the themes

khuzdul same language as
in ring of power😁😁

I loved the part where heimdall got drauped by Kratos
pov: enchanted trident in nether
4:52 gow ghost of sparta ref ?
I have to imagine so, given that Draupnir is essentially taking him back to his Spartan roots.
can you upload the bit where the alarm starts ringing the first time you enter Nidavellir?
my favourite part was when kratos said "It is Draupnin' time" and proceeded to Draupnir all over Heimdall
Anyone know the lyrics
Can you make liyrics songs ?
If I knew them I would
must wait one day Someone will make the lyrics for sure. As for me, I'll wait and see Runiko's. Because he has translated all the lyrics of God of war 2018 album already.55😁😁
I think you can find them on Google.
