You really need to give the fermented fish sauce a chance. It's used in most Eesan food and once you have learned to love it there is no way back 😆. I love Eesan food and travelled for almost 2 month through out Eesan. Best food in Thailand in my opinion 😋

Was abit dissapointed there was no night market vid for the first night as I always learn about new foods to try in all ur night market tours, but I guess u deserve a break as well. My absolute favourite thing to eat in Thailand is spicy papaya salad. That meal looked so delicious. Your journey looks very uncomfortable now with all the heat. Time to go home and relax I think! Was that man sneezing?

14:50 That Hindu temple (Shiva Mahadeva Tewalai Shrine) was under construction near 2015, so it is a new. I been there too when they was building it. Now it seem had much more monuments.

Ingredients in the curries (turmeric) are so beneficial to health and delicious. I luv Issan foods, generally compared to Thai dishes being slightly more sweet; a good balance of the two salty/spicy and sweet. You are a brave soul, 555.

Thanks for the video. It's nice to see that part of Thailand I have never been to. By the way, the highest surface temperature on the planet Mars is 20°C so I doubt it will pose a problem for you. On the contrary, I think you would love it more on Mars but the only problem would be that there is no Isan food on Mars.
You should come to Chaiyaphum and visiting around Thep sathit district or Thung Kamang, Kon San district which is not far from Khon Kaen. There are many nature and national parks. It would not hot like in the city. Keep going to make good content.
Oh no, thought you might visit my wife's home province of Maha Sarakham. Oh well, I know how hot it gets in isaan this time of year. Seriously hottest I've ever been, thought I would pass out. It's definitely on another level, no wind either, so you just sit cooking in your own sweat. Good luck on your ride back to Bangkok, it's gonna suck haha.
Love KHON KAEN and the walk around the lake, We took the 3rd class train from Khon Kaen to Udon thani , that was an experience, Finding you and your videos very relaxing and i don't mind the markets. Amazed at the ubon ratchatani market, Never seen it before

Mickey, you must like playing Russian Roulette. Some of those shellfish dishes, hoy, can be quite risky for contamination. Maybe it's not the spicy chilies that cause the bathroom breaks on the road, but rather the bacteria levels of meat that is kept sitting out in the hot, humid climate.
Apriciate all your hard work and effort Mickey, and i understand it with the weather dude! Isaan is realy Hot now in April and May, so good you finished. Just a quick question, you were eating fish and pork bals fried in oil with papaya salade and mussles in curry "Hoi" but me and my thai girlfriend think it are snails. The word "hoi" is used for many shell waterfood incl. Mussels, snails, clamps etc. But we enjoyed all your video's from this isaan trip, stay safe bro!
