- Visiting Venice's landmark spots, Andy links his inspirations from Natas to TA and Rodney, with a freestyle session to boot. Why the helmet? It's in there too.

Andy is one of the coolest "things" to happen to skateboarding in a long time. Breath of fresh air.
Until you watch him do a game of SKATE at the Berrics. Still a fan but was tough to watch
You must be under 18. Guys a kook
@@lefty9419 lol, most of the tricks he practices aren't berrics legal
Like a breath of salt water
@@lefty9419 the first match was awesome. but SKATE game is a small part of skateboarding and tbh, its kinda lame "yeah, flat ground tricks without considering freestyle at all? THATS JUST BS imo"
I love how he randomly pivot up this 3 stairs at 06:35 That is why I love this guy. You can never guess what is coming next.
He did it so smooth too!!
It’s that foot work he talked about
ikr; most contest pros are robots; they have to be and I respect that. Andy is a true artist, like Rodney, Gonz, and Natas before him.
This skating is beautiful
not only does he do seemingly random things at times, he makes them look good at all times too
I love that with Andy, skating is so much more than being able to do the hardest trick, impress people or win contests to prove how great he is. Its purely his love for the board, the history and how you can express yourself personally that made him ride and keeps him riding. So badass man, a true free spirit. Can't respect that enough
Bro....Andy is absolutely incredible. That long run of just continuous tricks so incredible
Andy is the realest. I skated through the 80s and 90s all the way til now and didn’t wear a helmet cuz it wasn’t cool. I had 2 really bad head injuries skating in my early 30s and started wearing a helmet. My sons 6 and ripping and he loves Andy and it def helps him feel better about me making him wear a helmet cuz Andy is his favorite. Andy is the best vibe in skating right now.
i'm 28 years old and i've thought of wearing a helmet but it just looks so goofy and then the credibility factor. props to you and your son for wearing one. maybe someday i'll grow a pair.
@@bear458ziif-s it's funny how now, non helmet wearers are the ones who are the conformists.
@@bear458ziif-slol. Grow up. Part of the reason Andy wore a helmet b/c others said he couldn't go pro wearing one. He said "fuck that" and set an example for kids and adults alike. Most importantly kids. But yeah dude grow up wear one ifu need one
I have never worn one either, i just turned 30 but mostly skate curbs and walls and some transition nothing crazy, however i feel i need to start wearing one. Its just the fact i find them distracting and uncomfy like im a baby with a big head that struggles to support it. I stopped caring what people thought awhile ago. If i could find comfy light one i would start wearing it
@@AspiringSpaceWizard thousand helmets
Wow, this dude has a beautiful trick selection, could watch this all day.
This guys style is amazing and the fact he wears a helmet is even cool imo people dont understand how fast things can go wrong even if you are the best of the best. Respect to this guy!
Andy is but a mere vessel through which the skate force flows effortlessly!
This guy is SO real and a much needed breath of fresh air! Doing his own thing and passionate in what he does. Being authentic is super power!
Probably one of the coolest guys you can ever meet in person. Dude is quality all around.
One of the purest skaters out there. Rodney's influence is hella evident - skating and philosophy
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao you’re riding this dudes meat so bad it’s embarrassing 😂😂😂😂😂 this dudes free styling is MID😂 the only OG to do it is Rodney Mullen and that’s how it’s gonna stay 😂😂 I swear this wave of skating ain’t it, lowering the standard of what should be on thrasher 😂😂
Anything ,anywhere is a skate obstacle with Andy he's a fantastic skateboarder!!!
I've gained a lot of respect for Andy over the last few years. truly has the passion and courage of his own conviction. its refreshing to see
I love that andy is such a ripper, and such a nice person, that you can't even hate on him. He should be in soty conversations every year because nobodies doing what he's doing the way he's doing it.
even how cool he is, its crazy that he still has haters
He and Evan have got the craziest style it looks like “lazy” almost because it’s so effortless but each movement and is so precise it’s mind blowing
Powerful and creative skater! Good job Chris filming!
Chirs is the best
Btw do you surf at all? Bet you would rip!@@authenticandyanderson
Wow! AMAZING!!! this video embodies the feeling I chase that's had me skating for 30yrs. Creativity Rules!
Skateboarding has and always will be about doing your own thing don’t ever change Andy 🤘🏻
6:42 "it's a sign that you're being so dangerous that you need to protect something" this is exactly how I view helmets, I felt this first when I had a helmet on in McDonald's a few months ago after a blading sesh and realized I probably look funny, but inside I felt rad and proud of wearing it cus I knew I genuinely needed it when I was attempting fly out flips earlier
I grew up with Andy and I can affirm that back in 2010 he was praising the Natas Spin constantly. Such a legend and nicest guy out there
Andy is gonna go down as one of the all time greats his style is unmatched
Such style and flow, and a really cool mellow guy.
Genuine dude, genuine skating. This is what it's all about man.
Watching Andy just makes you happy! 🥰
Thanks Andy. You are inspiring.
To me, Andy embodies the heart of skating: flow, freedom, smoothness, individuality, confidence, doing your own thing without trying to fit in... This guy has such a positive, open-minded vibe and is also a great role model for wearing a helmet.
The part where Andy does the noseblunt with the cyclist in the foreground at 3:56 is such a good shot 👌 👏
awesome video, it is a skatepart with some documentary... nailed it.
andy is actually my favorite skater.
That 3flip over the sand gap, nose blunt line. Surprised a few of us fo sho. 😅 👏 👌
Andy’s the best, keep on keeping Mr Anderson ! 👌🏽👌🏽
Bottom line is Andy loves skateboarding. He’s creative, unique, having fun, and not caring what others think. Did I mention creative?!
Toooooooo many skaters all doing the same tricks, over and over and over, it’s all so washed out. Thank you Any for everything your doing in skateboarding, you’re becoming one of the best to do and leaving a huge footprint while doing it. Love you brother!🤙
The way Andy interacts with his environment is awesome
those shots are 👌
Like to imagine all the jaded kids seeing this was posted and being upset about it. This dude is cool.
Amazing profile on Andy (wish it was longer!) Love how there was no music either tbh the skating sounds were nice
I've had so many concussions from skateboarding that now in my late 40's gives me considerable cognitive problems. Wish I wore a helmet.
A true treasure of skateboarding!
Stoked for the hydrant deck
Haters gonna hate, Skaters gonna skate ✌️😎
I respect the helmet..! I’m glad someone is keeping Freestyle alive..🤘
Thanks for that. I really appreciated the vibe here. Refreshing.
This was really good, stay out the berrics, stay out of braille whatever, thrasher and Peralta is where you should be, skateboarding icons
Hes already competed at the berrics
Don't know why you feel the need to hate on the others. Skateboarding is skateboarding, keep that negative energy out
the world doesn't revolve around andy, he goes where people want him to be
How about don't tell him where to go or what to do? If he wants to skate the berrics or braille what's wrong with that?
@@riotpb10 Scientology Braille? Nah man.
Real man doin Real thing 💯
I love this guy and his skating.
Andy is like a skater made in a lab. Perfect board control, so technical and super creative and always thinking outside the box. Legend already
loved it, so fun
Andy rips and he's been underrated for so long now. Good to see him getting a Thrasher post and a spot in BATB 13 etc. His soul screams skateboarding, and that's what it's all about
so sick, loved his long line
petition for Andy Anderson character in Skate 4
Don’t know much about skating but wow this guy has a very nice style those tricks at the end looks like he’s dancing with that board
Audio sounds really nice for some reason lol
Love this guy!
I enjoy watching this guy...and I consider him a true skater...loved how he ended the vid..."cause it's MY thing Man, hat tip to you Andy ❤💯
I love Andy. He is amazing.
That long line is styley AF.
Andy is just solid NBD.
This guy is very awesome skater
Gotta love Andy
Andy gots that ill shred anything infront of me but im chill about it lifestyle , what a g foreals. Live your life be yourself ,have fun, being passionate, that is the essence of AA
I love these "Skateboarding on a Spectrum" episodes
@6:33 is why I love this guy SOOO much!
Everyone loves Andy
4:39 holy shit throw down goals
It all makes sense now he failed this years BATB because there weren’t enough boulders to do tricks on
I feel like Tony Halk would be honored that the secret tapes from his games taught you the secrets of skating. thats rad haha
Imagine him running from the cops and landing 100 tricks while getting away 😂
He looks so cool in the helmet too
Of course Andy played the tony hawk games. Dude is living in a tony hawk game himself 😂
And he can make a helmet look cool. Legend
Seems like a cool guy..living and enjoying skating..what a great life. 😊
Gotta say as a reg skater, I watch Andy skate and it doesn't feel the same as watching most orher goofy skaters. He has a flair that works.
I got kinda mocking vibes from Gregson during the Mono mini ramp game between him and Andy, so I was really impressed by the care and evenhandedness Chris put into this edit.
Did a really good job of showing both Andy’s talent and flow, with his quirk that puts a lot of skaters off of him.
Great job, Chris.
it's difficult to judge videos that are heavily edited. it shows us only specific moments. there's a lot of missing context that we don't see. goes to show how important in person interactions are.
That game was the best thing to happen to me and Chris ❤
@@authenticandyanderson so glad to hear that. It looks like he put a lot of effort into making this a rad, representative vid of you.
ANDY ANDERSON FOR LIFE ! #ALWAYZWEARAHELMET
❤ Andy
Hell Yeah :D Andy moved, epic!
FANTÁSTICO.!!!
That dude is the essence of skateboarding.

If they do king of the road again he’s gotta be a mystery guest

Want never be another Andy Anderson

He is undeniably rad.
Yeah this guy is dope
Wtf camera man is crazy good!! Who filmed this??
Chris Gregson let’s go dude
Chris G = goat
damn that line... amazing
Alright I love him now
Wooow. Just crazy
Legend
Qué bonito video
To be so unapologetically yourself is so awesome. Especially is skateboarding where everyone is just biting everyone else’s steez.
Andy is amazing
