    Nebraska's defense is better than people think. They completely shut down Colorado's offense for most of the first half last week, even after handing them the ball a couple times. That's really impressive.

    Love the video. For the next one, please also discuss the weaknesses of the scheme.

      One weakness is, it breaks down over time when your offense is inept and turns the ball over 50 times a game.

      one of the main weaknesses of this scheme is the 3 down lineman itself,you can get dashed in the run game based on those numbers but normally when you’re getting aired out and having tough time stoping the pass. run game one of the main weaknesses but i’m sure you coulda thought of that already

      @andrewpadilla8799 Iowa St does a pretty good job of stopping the run in their version of the 335.

      @@andrewpadilla8799You can stop the run with the 3-3-5 if you have 3 big bodied 2 gappers as your down linemen. Also the unpredictability of the linebackers’ run fits can cause confusion for offensive linemen. Football is a numbers game but height and weight has to go into the equation when differentiating the effectiveness of defensive fronts.

    This Nebraska defense is definitely going to finish top 25 in the country this season. The offense needs to click, that’s the only thing left. Give Nebraska an AVERAGE QB who doesn’t turn the ball over 9 times a game and they’ll be a strong af team

    3-3-5 awesome scheme imagine if you have elite speed guys you then have a dominating defense which is Tony White’s goal great job Urban

      He also got fired from his last coaching gig for putting his hands on the kicker and telling him he could do whatever he wanted when the kicker tried to stand up for himself. If he felt comfortable doing that to a grown nfl player, i wonder how he treats college students

      Feels like -36 right now in Nebraska 😭😭 I ran like 100 yards and I could taste the blood in my mouth and the blood in my lungs thicken… and I’m 21

    Urban Meyer is a football genius. Most people think he's just an offensive minded Coach. One of the best breakdowns to simplify why a 3-3-5 defense is hard to defend. A true football mind.

    • @drae408
      @drae408 Рік тому +9

      I think he at the game LOL, but he is right about Nebraska defense. CU gave up 8 sacks in that game, if Nebraska had a better QB and WR's it would have been nasty. But they don't and they turned the ball over at least four times to CU.

    • @cng919
      @cng919 Рік тому +2

      Yeah our defense was decently good last week

    • @violetly_
      @violetly_ Рік тому +7

      If Nebraska's offense was capable of completing a drive without shooting themselves in the foot, it's 10-0 or better going into the second half and their defense doesn't get worn down nearly as quickly. They 100% win if they had a competent QB that doesn't fumble snaps and stare down receivers lmao

    • @tigersharkdiver
      @tigersharkdiver Рік тому

      Urban was at the game. 4 turnovers on offense is why they got blown out.
