I head up into the mountains to experience an incredible blizzard, camping in my Fiat Ducato van. This was quite the incredible experience and I was lucky to capture the cozy feeling of the blizzards and snow storm in HDR. I bring my new DJI mini 4 pro drone for the first time. That was in the previous episode. In this episode I make a loop of it and finish this trip that was planned for pre Christmas this year in extreme temperatures for this time of year.
My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in the USA and Canada.

I also show you what I learned from my first winter in the van.

Great vid. Rough. Fancy snow blower on that Volvo truck. Reach out and get it. Going through the pass, not a power line in sight. Not a place to be in winter. All summer homes. Bet it is cold in the valley. The air inversion just pumps the cold air right down on them. Be some great summer motorcycling. Jarl what kind/brand of outer coat do you have? Like those window mats. Hold in quite a bit of heat. Really enjoyed the vid. Glad to see the Arctic tour. A whole different world up that way. Take care, be extra safe.
Thanks Sam, most cabins are winter cabins actually, Norwegians go to their winter cabins in any weather. The outer coat is something no brand, but it works very well and keeps me warm. Gonna be fun to go north!

Does your Van have a cassette toilet?

Thanks Bill, yes my van has a cassette toilet, very convenient. They blow the snow of the side of the roads before it gets too much to make future plowing easier. The drone is a lot of fun!

Very nice and cold winter trip with cosy van 👍. I played very very beautiful game battlefield 5 and here is the same building from battlefield 5 compaingn "Nordlys" where heavy water was produced in WWII? If anyone knows please let me know!

Yes, I have good road recovery service, they are usually very good here in Norway and included through my insurance

When I lived in Canada between 1988 and 1990 we had to plug the engine heater into the mains to stop the engine from freezing. Does your van have its engine heater connected to a battery? Such an amazing, inhospitable place.
I do not actually have an engine heater in my van, so I need to take other measures if it get cold
