I really enjoy my pdp compact. Have the holosun 407c for mine. Just waiting on the plate from Walther. As far as being too big to carry...right holster and it should be no problem. I carry a Glock 21 which is much bigger with no problem. As soon as i get my optic mounted on my pdp (plus waiting on my holster also) it will find its way into my rotation.
That's awesome I couldn't wait for my free Plate and red dot from Walther. So I went and bought a C&H Plate and the 508T. My Night Fision optic stealth sites are in and will be getting installed Saturday. I'm currently experimenting with The Armzmen in AIWB and The Cup holster from Proteq Custom Gear in the 2:00 IWB position. Im loving both Holsters. I'm glad to see your set up is well underway. What type of holster you're getting?
@@xrpxtrariceplease2811 No you’ll need to upgrade the sights to a lower 1/3 or Suppressor Height sights for and close to absolute cowitness. There are multiple Sight options due to PDP taking Glock Sights. Night Fision has night sights for that. The only way you can cowitness with standard height sights is is with the Holosun SCS (PDP).
I'm sorry about your limited capacity. Yes PDP It is worth it, really look into it. My C&H plate just came in for the 509T, I'm so excited. I just need to upgrade the sights Thanks for your view👍🏼
New subscriber. I would rather have your Glock, as it looks so cool. I don't like the look of the PDP, with its fat chunky busy looking slide, and goofy shaped grip. I like your honesty about the stock PDP trigger, as its vastly overrated online. I would take my Glock gen 3 stock trigger anytime, as the initial take-up is shorter, hard definitive wall, and the reset far stronger, authoritive, and tactile.
I agree about the Glock trigger. When I first started shooting it was easier to work the trigger. The nice defined wall, and tactile reset is super consistent. That’s why I went and picked up the Mossberg MC2C for my wife, the trigger is Glock like with the same consistency. Is was easy show her how to work the trigger, she had fun. I do love the aggressive look of the PDP and though it’s a bit chunky, I still conceal it just fine.. We have people out her in the community walking around with Staccato’s. BLESS THERE HEARTS🤣 I eventually grew to love the Utilitarian look of the Glock, I love both Guns evenly. What are your thoughts on the new Springfield echelon, and have you tried the Mr920? Thanks for the view.
I haven't shot the Echelon yet, but have watched several videos, and I do like the look of it. Lol, I am glad I found a channel that prefers the stock Glock trigger over the PDP, because it seems like we are in the minority. I remember 15 years ago when the Walther PPQ, forerunner of the PDP came out. Everyone said the same thing, best trigger ever. Some people even said better than a 1911 trigger. Well, I go and shoot one and am so disappointed. It had a mile long take-up, longer than PDP, and certainly nowhere near a 1911 trigger. I actually preferred my stock Glock gen 3 trigger, because shorter take-up, hard wall, that nice crisp Glock snap, and very strong tactile reset.@@PoorMansCarry

@@PoorMansCarry i went with the Vedder pro tuck with the wing. Should be here soon.
@@DrFitch3 Nice just looked it up, it looks like it has flexible wings on metal hooks and It should contour to your waist pretty nicely.

Does red dot cowitness with the sights.

Own both pdp 5in full size in odgreen with a 507c x2 green dot .
And the 4in compact has the free Ameriglo Haven. I use my ppq m2 navy 15+2 mags too.
Eyeing the pdp 4" very hard. Would like a full size but limited to 15 rounds in my state. Everything I'm seeing says that i can't go wrong.

My state is 10. So 15 sounds great to me,lol. I need to move to a 2A friendly state.
Nice setup on the Glock
Niece pistol. Good choice!
What camera did you use for this setup
S22 ultra video horizontal 16/9 UHD60 on a tripod. It's a Ghetto set up.
The ghetto looks good in this case.
