I read his book 10 years ago when my oldest, of three, sons was 1. It was an eye opener & has made all the difference. My wife & I have used the information to guide our decisions. All 3 are doing great
Popularity is poison. That makes sense. To be popular means to mindlessly go along with what everyone else wants, as where the greatest heroes, especially women, are those who refused to go along with everyone else. Which is unpopular.
I sent my 28 year old son to a multi age school in first grade because he could have gone to second grade cognitively and stayed in kindergarten socially. He thrived in that environment. Sadly, when he went to public school, the lack of challenge made him lose interest.
