Are you Scottish? I hear that some of our TV programs actually have subtitles when they're on air in England etc 😂. To be fair, we do use a lot of words that others haven't heard before
As someone who has a regional dialect in the US that many people in my country famously can’t understand (Appalachian), yeah it is hard to understand certain words and phrases. And in some cases, some people have thicker accents so you have to try to catch bits and pieces here and there. It’s a joke, but it is also legit. Plus, if when you are around others with your accent, it’s like it gets thicker. Mine is much thicker around my family than when I am talking to my boss who is half across the country. So in a game where nearly everyone is Scottish, it is a bit difficult to grasp lol
The voice acting really sold this game for me, I loved hearing the raw emotion of everyone experiencing everything around them. Hell even the wife had some real conversations with Caz which made the ending so beautiful. 10/10
