- "Every Day" is a song which conveys an anti-drug message, with beautiful harmonies, excellent track where everything is perfect. "Spectral Mornings" album is fantastic.
I LOVE THIS SONG, Mr. Hackett is a master!!!!.
Todo mi respeto y admiración Señor Hackett es una inspiración para muchos musicos y amantes de la buena musica.
Steve Hackett is for me one of the best guitarists in the world. Point.
Clint Eastwood is so good on guitar
I know what you're thinking. Did I hit five strings or six?!
Thanks, I needed a laugh today :D
Always loved Hackett, but man that bassist is one of the smoothest he's ever played with
Not enough footage of his brilliant guitar work!
This one of my favorite Hackett tunes (after Firth). What an amazing combination of outrageous tones and riffs. This song is like a drug to me.
Here's another fix: De Montfort Leicester 7 October 2022. Guitar is quite loud. Nice echo in the venue. ua-cam.com/video/jC60mCGmnDc/v-deo.html
Half of Genesis Live was recorded there. Steve was very chilled on these gigs.
That instrument is a Bass Pedal. Its name is "Moog Taurus" and it was used to make deep bass sounds in several songs. This one was also used by many progressive bands like Genesis, Rush, Crimsom in lates 70's.
"Steve Hackett is for me one of the best guitarists in the world. Point."... i think also!!!
Saw him play this in Swansea on Friday - catch him on tour while you can!
Excellent perfomance!! Steve can make his guitar weep like no one else can!! WONDERFUL!!!!
Andy Latimer???
It was nice to see Hackett get some solo success after all the great work he did in Genesis.
Funny, listening to this again after all these years, IMO his solo sound was a little closer to Camel than Genesis...
he does/did sound like Camel, I listened to Metrognome and immediately thought of that
@petecellar - This is available on the CD release titled "Time Lapse." It was released in 1992. It was recorded in England and New York, each with different crews, Steve and John Hackett being the only common players. If you think this one was good, check out "Ace Of Wands" and "Jacuzzi" and be amazed. By the way, this was recorded in England.
Absolutely terrific. Never heard something more important to my ears. Those fingers running like children on a stairs are definitely the reason why a guitar has been invented.
Stunning solo and performance.
From the beautiful Spectral Mornings album. It is a must for your collection.
Del hermoso album Spectral Mornings toda una obra maestra....
On drums: the one and only Fudge Smith!
With the Bruford Tribute hair
@@asammler i noticed that!!
He looks 12 😂
I'm obsessed with the sequence from 5:19 to 5:32. A beautiful sequence of music and brotherly bonding. Just powerful.
Meravigliosa versione.
One of my favorite Hackett songs! I love this performance, too.
Hackett heaven.
Steve is amzazing as always, this song is his best without a shadow of a doubt.
musical magic and majesty...he makes it look SO EASY!!-Not!!
He almost looks like he's asleep; he makes it look that effortless though this song is a textbook on technical ability for guitar!
My favourite bit is at 3:35. This gives me shivers down my spine.
one of my favorite leads of all time
Top drawer class guitarist best ever version of this track
And all give it up for the great IAN ELLIS on bass !!!
Great Video! Thank you Knightmidnight. Always loved this song and feel happy and sad when I hear it. Having lost dear friends to Cleopatra's needle. Love Steve!!!
seeing him tomorrow night nov 11th westbury long island cant wait
do you have tickets for this year???
Haha at last someone else sees the similarity! Whenever I point it out to someone they only partly agree... even then I think it's just to shut me up!
Saw this song played live last saturday at Shepherd's Bush and it was one of my favourites. Very underrated guitarist indeed.
The part at 03.00-03.20 gives me chills.
So Clint Eastwood. Brilliant !
Fantastic!👏👏👏👏👏
мой любимейший игрок гитары всего времени, абсолютной завершенности!
Ein Ding, das mich schon seit unzähligen Jahren begeistert
What a Sound What a Version Killer 🎸⚡️🔥
In addition to being an incredible guitarist, Steve's also a pretty good looking dude. He looks kind of like a young Clint Eastwood here.
I'll be seeing him tomorrow 3/31 in San Francisco. This is on his set list. Yeah! Start of his North American tour. Then Japan and China! Then the O2 in London.
hackett hapiness.
Since Panamá thank you
Live in Nottingham 1990, there is a DVD of this on the market
Great Great song!!
Un grande del panorama musicale...
In the back on keys Nick Magnus am I right these shows were loud and hifive rating the venue 😊
splendid
What a beautiful Gibson Lespaul
OK guys it's a SYNTHESIZER with an interface you trigger with your feet, ideally - Steve's bands seem to enjoy using their hands, for some reason, missing the point that it frees your hands to play with other bits. Traditionally only Prog bands employed that complexity, progresman - maybe it's enjoyed wider use now but I'd doubt it with MIDI and overall laziness. (And what else would you call Crimson but PROG?)
I have the Moog Taurus II (extended foot pads, controls on a remote base), cool.
I love it.
Can't wait to see him in Buffalo March 3rd! Check out Wolflight if you haven't already. Its a great, beautiful album!
the best live version I have heard of this, there is an 80's one on here that is terrible, really slow...
Hei leidy and gentleman the best of ever av steve hackett
Make sure you see him once if it is in your ability.
awesome!
Fingers of magic.
It's bass pedals at 5:30! Somebody down the comments asked what the instrument was? Lol
Off the chart...
Hella prog. 👍
The keyboardist is Roger King?
Tremendo, impresionante. De donde es este material?? Esta disponible en DVD? Saludos desde Cordoba, ARG. LeA
Yeah, he should be way bigger than he is.
Fudge on drums.
@davemakesawave
he does remind me of clint eastwood too!
Wow! Where the heck is this from? Great live version.

Agreed :)
@davemakesawave Haha, good one!
5:47
steve at his peak what a sound poor drummer tho
The drummer is Fudge Smith, who played for years with Pendragon, and he's a superb drummer.
@georgeman2468 - That's the British for you!
he looks a bit like the "boss"
oh..can he play that guitar ! oh yea.
bass player clone of geddy lee and rick parfitt
I guess you mean Francis Rossi :) Yes, and Geddy Lee!
The drummer doesn't swing.
Techniquement excellent, mais manque de feeling.
too poor
Go back to listening to Oasis, you retard.
