I’ve always been interested in getting into K-pop and understanding it more so I like doing deep dives into it and BTS and TWICE have my complete interest. Anything I react to will always be a bit more in depth to the point I sometimes think the video is too long 😅

I've been into Twice a lot lately so I'm glad to see you're enjoying their music as well! 'What is Love' is one of my favourite MVs of theirs, and also a great place to start imo. If you want more, anything by them is actually great but I'd recommend 'Fancy', 'Dance the Night Away' and 'The Feels' especially, the latter being their firts full-english single and the other two being just iconic must watch MVs (in my opinion at least). I'd also suggest you check out Stray Kids as well, they are a boy group under the same label as Twice though with an entirely different sound and concept. There's a lot to them so I'm sure you could find something that suits your tastes after a bit of research, though I would recommend starting with their hit song 'God's Menu' since it seems to be the first song of choice for reactors to start with lol. (I actually have a ton of groups I'd like to recommend, but I don't want to overwhelm you so I'll keep them for another time). Great video as always, I had a blast!
I will be checking out more Twice songs going forward! I will add Stray Kids to the list, right now I am planning out my videos for the BU timeline as well as their other songs. I think the BU timeline would be great for me because of my obsession with the MCU. I have so many video ideas with BTS alone and the non-BTS stuff its a lot. I really love it when a youtuber is just genuinely interested in the group/song or the whole kpop industry❤️ I recommend "Feel Special" that's song is definitely has a lot of meaning. It's an upbeat song with deeper lyrics. It was written by their CEO (JYP) after talking to them. It's a special song. There's a lot of going on with them during 2019. Everyone was having a hard time ☹️ One of the member was actually on a hiatus and only participated in MV filming due to mental health issue.

But what If u watch a video presenting "[TOP 100] MOST VIEWED K-POP SONGS OF ALL TIME" and then decided which group/soloist/song make you interested in? Video like this can be also a good example how different k-pop can be! ... and how many kpop artists are there :D Or... what looks more suitable: "Try Not To Sing Kpop Challenge | Old Legendary Kpop Songs (2007-2015) [Very Hard]" This video will show you some older kpop songs so u will be able to know how big kpop has become nowadays :) and maybe u will find someone who has catch your eye
This’ll be helpful to me. I keep a list of recommendations but getting a feel for groups off of samples would be helpful as well. Sometimes a song doesn’t hit me because I’m not in the right mood for it. I am eyeing a new group called NewJeans which looks brand new and might be a good group to get into so I can see them from the beginning and not be late to the party.

I really enjoy watching your videos, i just like to see other peoples opinions on something they haven't seen before but that i know a decent amount of. 🙂 I also have an idea to a k-pop group you can react a little too, it is quite popular actually and its no other than TXT ( short for " tomorrow X together " ( read tomorrow by together ). I am a fan of BTS tbh, but you have done a few videos abt them but i also like some other groups and i think that you will like TXT sooo.. yeah. 😅 A few things you would maybe want to know bat the group: Its a male k-pop group with five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai. They debuted on March 4th, 2019. There are two songs/MV's i would recommend you watching cuz they are very popular. First is Maniac, it is a good song and i dont need to explain more bc you'll see when u hear the song. And second is their song CROWN, i think its their biggest hit in fact. But you dont have to do them if you dont want to bc i just think that it will be a good video! Adiós!

Glad you like Twice I had never been to a bubblegum type of song until I started listening to Twice, been to k pop for the past 2 years now, time and again my perspective over k pop was proven wrong, 2 years listening and now I had 9 k pop female group actively following ( Girl group only stan btw ). I had a rank for each, this year when I started listening to Twice they started on rank 8, after only 2 months listening on them they dramatically grow in my heart and raise their rank to 2 next to my ultimate Blackpink. Likey and What is Love was also in my playlist, lsitening and watching Twice feels like bathing to a morning sunlight, I do recommend you watch their KNOCK KNOCK MV, that is for me their most fun song and the bpm on that is really great.
Just a note on the "What is Love" breakdown. All movies have reference to some type of love. You got the "Pulp Fiction" one but since you unfortunately haven't watched one of the best movies out there which is "Leon the Professional" you missed a VERY important fact. The type of love depicted in that movie is one a 13 year old girl develops for a 40yo man. You HAVE to watch the movie to understand the why and how that love started to develop and in which form. This reference alone has made this M/V my top one. I'm pretty sure the "Love letter" reference packs a punch but since I know my Japanese movies I am avoiding it like the plague because when the Japanese shoot a Drama it IS a Drama and if I watch the movie every time I watch this M/V and it's reference I'll be reminded of the movie and be depressed for a week.

Hey Nick, I really like your reaction style so far! I love that you are taking your time to get the lyrics, the mv's and the meaning. There are so many groups in KPop who are really cool and worth checking out. So many that you might be overwhelmed by it and I really want to urge you to check out the groups in your own speed. I want to recommend two more groups to you, which I think you will like: StrayKids - StrayKids is a boygroup which is really popular right now. They produce and write all of their songs by themselves and have deep lyrics and MV's as well. I think you would like "Chill" and "Thunderous". But honestly all of their songs are really good and worth checking out! Mamamoo - Mamamoo is a girlgroup which is known for their mature style and their incredible good vocals. I would recommend watching the "Killing Voice" on Dingo from them. Also the songs "HIP" and "Gogobebe". Have fun with your KPop journey :)

a note for when u listen to more kpop in future, not EVERYTHING has a deeper meaning, sometimes things are done for fun, but a lot of does have meaning. also, sometimes songs can be misleading, for example it may sound very happy and positive but the lyrics will say otherwise (TXT's old songs lol)
I'd really recommend that you'd react to the boy group 'TXT'!! They literally have no skips. Songs I'd recommend are Fairy of Shampoo, Opening Sequence, or 20cm! I promise you won't regret it they are so good!

Twice is the 2nd kpop group (and the only one so far, though I know BTS for over two years) I really got into after BTS, and I love them. I tried to listen to Blackpink, but they feel overly produced to me and content is really lacking. Wouldn't consider myself a ONCE but getting there I think, so I'm looking forward to more of your reactions.
We are in the same boat, right now its BTS and TWICE for me but I am looking at a few other groups as well. I am thinking about making a video focusing on learning about the K-Pop industry as a whole and better understanding idols as a concept. I see idols in anime and a new pokemon character is an idol as-well and being that BTS went from a hip hop group to idol I am curious as to what that specifically means.

I am really happy that you liked them. At the end of the video you asked for recommendations. I assume that all of your subscribers want you to react to their favourite band/song. But what If u watch a video presenting "[TOP 100] MOST VIEWED K-POP SONGS OF ALL TIME" and then decided which group/soloist/song make you interested in? Video like this can be also a good example how different k-pop can be! ... and how many kpop artists are there :D

This’ll be helpful to me. I keep a list of recommendations but getting a feel for groups off of samples would be helpful as well. Sometimes a song doesn’t hit me because I’m not in the right mood for it. I am eyeing a new group called NewJeans which looks brand new and might be a good group to get into so I can see them from the beginning and not be late to the party.

the scene of 3 of them in the pink and white checkered room is a parody of an older kpop group (probably Orange Caramel) and thats what Korea’s music shows looked/looks like. the scene right after that, is a parody of your typical Korean beauty/skincare product commercial. not sure why theyre included in the music video but i just know the reference! might be related to how love isnt scheduled like how kpop junkee was saying since the music shows broadcast at a certain time/day every week?

Hello! I really enjoy watching your videos, i just like to see other peoples opinions on something they haven't seen before but that i know a decent amount of. 🙂
I also have an idea to a k-pop group you can react a little too, it is quite popular actually and its no other than TXT ( short for " tomorrow X together " ( read tomorrow by together ). I am a fan of BTS tbh, but you have done a few videos abt them but i also like some other groups and i think that you will like TXT sooo.. yeah. 😅
A few things you would maybe want to know bat the group: Its a male k-pop group with five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai. They debuted on March 4th, 2019.
There are two songs/MV's i would recommend you watching cuz they are very popular. First is Maniac, it is a good song and i dont need to explain more bc you'll see when u hear the song. And second is their song CROWN, i think its their biggest hit in fact.
But you dont have to do them if you dont want to bc i just think that it will be a good video!

Glad you like Twice I had never been to a bubblegum type of song until I started listening to Twice, been to k pop for the past 2 years now, time and again my perspective over k pop was proven wrong, 2 years listening and now I had 9 k pop female group actively following ( Girl group only stan btw ). I had a rank for each, this year when I started listening to Twice they started on rank 8, after only 2 months listening on them they dramatically grow in my heart and raise their rank to 2 next to my ultimate Blackpink. Likey and What is Love was also in my playlist, lsitening and watching Twice feels like bathing to a morning sunlight, I do recommend you watch their KNOCK KNOCK MV, that is for me their most fun song and the bpm on that is really great.

Just a note on the "What is Love" breakdown. All movies have reference to some type of love. You got the "Pulp Fiction" one but since you unfortunately haven't watched one of the best movies out there which is "Leon the Professional" you missed a VERY important fact. The type of love depicted in that movie is one a 13 year old girl develops for a 40yo man. You HAVE to watch the movie to understand the why and how that love started to develop and in which form. This reference alone has made this M/V my top one. I'm pretty sure the "Love letter" reference packs a punch but since I know my Japanese movies I am avoiding it like the plague because when the Japanese shoot a Drama it IS a Drama and if I watch the movie every time I watch this M/V and it's reference I'll be reminded of the movie and be depressed for a week.

There are so many groups in KPop who are really cool and worth checking out. So many that you might be overwhelmed by it and I really want to urge you to check out the groups in your own speed.
I want to recommend two more groups to you, which I think you will like:
StrayKids - StrayKids is a boygroup which is really popular right now. They produce and write all of their songs by themselves and have deep lyrics and MV's as well. I think you would like "Chill" and "Thunderous". But honestly all of their songs are really good and worth checking out!
Mamamoo - Mamamoo is a girlgroup which is known for their mature style and their incredible good vocals. I would recommend watching the "Killing Voice" on Dingo from them. Also the songs "HIP" and "Gogobebe".

It’s so fun to watch you K-pop journey! If you want to learn more about BTS and their history I would recommend checking out “The Rise Of Bangtan”. It’s a docuseries made by an ARMY who also works as a professional editor. The series is truly amazing and extremely well made, it even got mentioned in a TIMES article back when it got released! (The series also teaches you a lot about the history of K-pop and what it is.)

Twice is the 2nd kpop group (and the only one so far, though I know BTS for over two years) I really got into after BTS, and I love them. I tried to listen to Blackpink, but they feel overly produced to me and content is really lacking.
Wouldn't consider myself a ONCE but getting there I think, so I'm looking forward to more of your reactions.
We are in the same boat, right now its BTS and TWICE for me but I am looking at a few other groups as well. I am thinking about making a video focusing on learning about the K-Pop industry as a whole and better understanding idols as a concept. I see idols in anime and a new pokemon character is an idol as-well and being that BTS went from a hip hop group to idol I am curious as to what that specifically means.
