Twice is simply the most magical group ever to exist. They are stunning, beautiful, clever, hilarious, unique, passionate, caring, kind, and TALENTED beyond anyone else.
I agree with what you say about Chaeyoung in these tracks that she doesn’t get a lot of lines. However, in the b-sides she really does shine so much, especially basics and icon being my personal favourites from her.
10:00 Jeongyeon definitely doesn't get the most lines, but she has such a powerful voice and it really shines in songs like Up No More and Queen of Hearts
23:21 Chaeyoung is actually their main rapper. She's such a crazy rapper, but didn't get to stand out much in title tracks because of concepts. But in B-sides, she shines so so much, specially their recent tracks like Icon, or from their latest album. I guess the reason they went for Dahyun more was because her voice fits so much more with their earlier concepts.
What Is Love was their best era. I stan by it. It’s full of references to movies like the Princess Bride, Romeo and Juliet, La La Land (and more that’s escaping me 😂)

It's often said that SM focuses on visuals and vocals, YG focuses on rap and charisma, and JYP focuses on personality and character. To quote JYP himself: "Honesty, Sincerity, and Modesty. These are things that he emphasizes as necessities.” Yang Se Hyung said, “I feel like it’s the family motto of this place,” and the girl group agreed. Overall. I think JYP focuses heavily on individual character with a sincere presentation. It’s because they’ve known each other for such a long time and were friendly before forming. Jihyo, Nayeon and Jeongyeon had the longest training periods (10, 5.16 and 5.67 years each). So they trained together for 5 years and were in a predebut team that didn’t end up debuting. Momo, Sana and Mina bonded as they are all Japanese. Momo and Sana actually joined the company on the same day and were trainees for over 3 years (Mina has the shortest trainee period of about a year). Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu are the maknae line (1998, 99, 99) and were close as trainees too. Then they all trauma bonded on Sixteen, the survival show of JYP female trainees, (thanks JYP for that) and have been inseparable since. They, for the LONGEST time, would only ever do group promotions. They had no desire to do solo stuff and their group focus was Twice. They all also unanimously renewed their contracts very recently, without having group conversation or consulting each other about it. They wanted each person’s decision to renew and stay as TWICE to be their own choice, without outside influence. OT9 will be forever!
I'm loving your reactions so much! Answering you question... Yes, they do get along. A bit too much I would say haha just kidding but they really are like family. I mean 7 years isn't a short period of time. They did say they weren't really close at the beggining (can't blame them. girls had to compete for their position) but now it's like they have some kind of separation anxiety haha they miss each other even when they're not together FOR A DAY. And because they love each other so much they recently renewed their contract. The 9 girls had moved into 3 different apartments for a few years already, NaMoSa, JeongJiMi and DaChaeTzu. And around last year, Jeongyeon moved out to stay with her sister to recuperate from her anxiety and nagging injury. As Jihyo and Chae families are in Seoul, they also goes back often. So now, Dahyun and Tzuyu stay in one apartment (with Chae probably also round during busy period). Nayeon and Momo definitely staying together (& my guess is that Sana split herself between her original apartment and the one Mina stays (since Jeongyeon is out and Jihyo goes home often. Anyway, their apartments are in the same building / estate.

chaeyoung (the rapper you would point out that isn’t being allowed to show her full potential) is actually the main rapper and i agree that the rap parts are short but that’s mainly for title tracks. she, as the other members, showcase A LOT more in their bsides especially from their latest album i feel like you’ll fall in love with the song she wrote Basics she has one of the best twice rap verses ever in that song
Sadly, I can't agree with you enough about Chaeyoung. If you watch their pre-debut show "Sixteen" where they competed to be a member of Twice, Chaeyoung has the most well-rounded raw talent of the group being strong in vocals, dance, rap, and stage presence. Unfortuantely, she's overlooked because of the roles they give her. Chaeyoung shows her real talents when she gets the chance like in The Way You Love Me during Sixteen (everything), Twice - Touchdown performed live during Twicelights (vocals), bloodline dance cover with Kiel Tutin (dance), Twice - Basics rap part that she wrote for herself and Momo.

Thank u for noticing dahyun smile,i first noticed dahyun because of her smile and now she is my bias & let me tell you she is very talented she can rap, dance, sing & can play guitar & piano very well and she also draws & writes lyrics for twice songs & she is the only member who have perfect pitch in the group. Even though if u have bias in twice it is very hard not to love all the members because all the girls are very talented & lovable.I hope u enjoy while getting to know about twice.
I just fell in love with Twice about a month ago when Nayeon's POP music video came out and my 4yr old granddaughter was dancing and singing, and then I discovered TWICE the group. I was so interested in learning each member(took me about a week), there are so many of them. Now I can say, I know each one, their personalities through their vlogging. I love all the music videos and their live performance. I am proud of Jeongyeon, she has been through a lot with her health. All the girls are such good singers and dancers. I am 64 went from BTS(still ARMY) and NOW I can see if I fit in with ONCE!! Love your channel, keep going! Dahyun to me is strikingly beautiful her smiles and natural look , I have no Bias yet...because they all deserving.

Chaeyoung is an absolute triple threat. If you venture into their b sides it’s then that you’ll get to see how much talent she has. In their recent albums especially she’s been getting great raps and vocal parts. My favourite of hers is Icon, she did not come to mess around that day in the studio.
They get a along so well 🥺 they’ve literally never fought. That’s one of the things I love the most about them. They’ve gone beyond family and beyond friendship and you can see it in the way they interact with each other.

as for the "how do they manage their relationships with each other" question, theyre genuinely one of the closest kpop groups i've seen despite having so many members, they re-signed their contracts this year which is so rare for kpop groups and it just shows that they want to stick together and keep making music.
Been a kpop stan since 2009, I have stanned alot of Kpop groups. And suddenly I got tired, and wants to quit. But then I saw TWICE, they're the kindest, most humble and most lovable girls. They saved me from deep depression, they're my therapy. There's something in them that will automatically brighten your mood. They spread goodvibes and kindness. They release nothing but PURE BOPS. They're too underrated. If only the haters will get to know these 9 beautiful beans.

Yay you finally reacted to What Is Love! That's their peak cutesy era and it was done in a perfect way to kind of cap off their bubblegum pop run. After that they did a 360 degree shift with more elegant concepts like Fancy, Feel Special, etc and they continue to break new grounds on exploring genres and continually acing it, proving that they can offer so much more while still having that Twice branding. Their japanese discography is top tier too!! Since you asked if they get along, yes. SO MUCH ACTUALLY. Even other groups (red velvet, nmixx, etc) and jyp himself applaud the way their close-knit bond over the past 7 years. Its so genuine and deep, honestly their songs made me check them out but their relationship with each other made me stan them. Its crazy how much love and commitment they have for their team and for each other. Theyre even so proud, not one of them has ever had a fight with each other in the past 7 years. Theyre all just thoughtful and caring, and they love being together so much theyre so clingy haha. 22:16 I recommend checking out some compilations, because Twice as a group have such a wholesome and funny dynamic. You can tell that they all really really love each other. Time to Twice is a series on their YT channel where they do games/competitions and sometimes even do like little role-playing scenarios (like murder mystery’s and such) and you can really get a feel for each of their personalities, and their relationships from that.
They also all re-signed their contracts early, and without telling each other they were going to. So you really get a sense that they love what they do, and the people they do it with.

They are very very close. We always joke about them having separation anxiety when they are apart even for a few days. They always hang out together, go to eat, try new hobbies like pottery and surfing, go on holidays together, even spend national holidays with each other's families (especially the non-korean members), there was even a time when jeongyeon's sister said tzuyu texted her saying she was at her home playing with her dogs😂 so yeah, they really love and cherish each other a lot. I hope you continue this journey, especially with their b-sides and Japanese songs!

But in B-sides, she shines so so much, specially their recent tracks like Icon, or from their latest album. I guess the reason they went for Dahyun more was because her voice fits so much more with their earlier concepts.
What Is Love was their best era. I stan by it. It’s full of references to movies like the Princess Bride, Romeo and Juliet, La La Land (and more that’s escaping me 😂)

For chaeyoung i get what you’re saying she’s an ace she literally can do anything but the title tracks doesn’t showcase much of what they all can do their bsides is the real deal they literally have done so many genres over the years and wrote most of their songs too, abd chaeyoung wrote the most songs out of every member too
It’s because they’ve known each other for such a long time and were friendly before forming. Jihyo, Nayeon and Jeongyeon had the longest training periods (10, 5.16 and 5.67 years each). So they trained together for 5 years and were in a predebut team that didn’t end up debuting. Momo, Sana and Mina bonded as they are all Japanese. Momo and Sana actually joined the company on the same day and were trainees for over 3 years (Mina has the shortest trainee period of about a year). Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu are the maknae line (1998, 99, 99) and were close as trainees too.
Then they all trauma bonded on Sixteen, the survival show of JYP female trainees, (thanks JYP for that) and have been inseparable since. They, for the LONGEST time, would only ever do group promotions. They had no desire to do solo stuff and their group focus was Twice.
They all also unanimously renewed their contracts very recently, without having group conversation or consulting each other about it. They wanted each person’s decision to renew and stay as TWICE to be their own choice, without outside influence. OT9 will be forever!
I'm loving your reactions so much! Answering you question... Yes, they do get along. A bit too much I would say haha just kidding but they really are like family. I mean 7 years isn't a short period of time. They did say they weren't really close at the beggining (can't blame them. girls had to compete for their position) but now it's like they have some kind of separation anxiety haha they miss each other even when they're not together FOR A DAY.
And because they love each other so much they recently renewed their contract. The 9 girls had moved into 3 different apartments for a few years already, NaMoSa, JeongJiMi and DaChaeTzu. And around last year, Jeongyeon moved out to stay with her sister to recuperate from her anxiety and nagging injury. As Jihyo and Chae families are in Seoul, they also goes back often. So now, Dahyun and Tzuyu stay in one apartment (with Chae probably also round during busy period). Nayeon and Momo definitely staying together (& my guess is that Sana split herself between her original apartment and the one Mina stays (since Jeongyeon is out and Jihyo goes home often. Anyway, their apartments are in the same building / estate.

Sadly, I can't agree with you enough about Chaeyoung. If you watch their pre-debut show "Sixteen" where they competed to be a member of Twice, Chaeyoung has the most well-rounded raw talent of the group being strong in vocals, dance, rap, and stage presence. Unfortuantely, she's overlooked because of the roles they give her. Chaeyoung shows her real talents when she gets the chance like in The Way You Love Me during Sixteen (everything), Twice - Touchdown performed live during Twicelights (vocals), bloodline dance cover with Kiel Tutin (dance), Twice - Basics rap part that she wrote for herself and Momo.

Chaeyoung is an absolute triple threat. If you venture into their b sides it’s then that you’ll get to see how much talent she has. In their recent albums especially she’s been getting great raps and vocal parts. My favourite of hers is Icon, she did not come to mess around that day in the studio.
They get a along so well 🥺 they’ve literally never fought. That’s one of the things I love the most about them. They’ve gone beyond family and beyond friendship and you can see it in the way they interact with each other.

as for the "how do they manage their relationships with each other" question, theyre genuinely one of the closest kpop groups i've seen despite having so many members, they re-signed their contracts this year which is so rare for kpop groups and it just shows that they want to stick together and keep making music.
Been a kpop stan since 2009, I have stanned alot of Kpop groups. And suddenly I got tired, and wants to quit. But then I saw TWICE, they're the kindest, most humble and most lovable girls. They saved me from deep depression, they're my therapy. There's something in them that will automatically brighten your mood. They spread goodvibes and kindness. They release nothing but PURE BOPS. They're too underrated. If only the haters will get to know these 9 beautiful beans.
Chaeyoung is not forgotten as she is also one of the most prolific song writers in Twice. I would encourage you to look it up.

What has taken Twice so far apart from their outstanding talent and great music is that they get along amazingly well, they are like a sisterhood where you want to be a part of their group of friends. They love each other very much and joke around with each other and every time one of them is going through something difficult, it shows how everyone is around to comfort her. The more you see them "behind the scenes", the more you fall in love with them. (This year they renewed all their contracts, making them the first girl group to stay together after more than seven years)
They have always said that they understand that the success of one is the success of all as a group, and they love their brand very much.

Yay you finally reacted to What Is Love! That's their peak cutesy era and it was done in a perfect way to kind of cap off their bubblegum pop run. After that they did a 360 degree shift with more elegant concepts like Fancy, Feel Special, etc and they continue to break new grounds on exploring genres and continually acing it, proving that they can offer so much more while still having that Twice branding. Their japanese discography is top tier too!!
Since you asked if they get along, yes. SO MUCH ACTUALLY. Even other groups (red velvet, nmixx, etc) and jyp himself applaud the way their close-knit bond over the past 7 years. Its so genuine and deep, honestly their songs made me check them out but their relationship with each other made me stan them. Its crazy how much love and commitment they have for their team and for each other. Theyre even so proud, not one of them has ever had a fight with each other in the past 7 years. Theyre all just thoughtful and caring, and they love being together so much theyre so clingy haha.

22:16 I recommend checking out some compilations, because Twice as a group have such a wholesome and funny dynamic. You can tell that they all really really love each other. Time to Twice is a series on their YT channel where they do games/competitions and sometimes even do like little role-playing scenarios (like murder mystery’s and such) and you can really get a feel for each of their personalities, and their relationships from that.
They also all re-signed their contracts early, and without telling each other they were going to. So you really get a sense that they love what they do, and the people they do it with.

chaeyoung usually gets better raps in their bsides. i recommend you check out basics(written by chaeyoung), turn it up(written by sana), missing u(chaeyoung and dahyun wrote their own rap verses here), trouble(written and composed by jihyo), do it again. there are professionally recorded performances for these songs except for basics and trouble since theyre on their latest album. thank you for reacting to them again!

I subscribed bc of all the Jeongyeon love. She is a true idol in every sense of the word!
They are very very close. We always joke about them having separation anxiety when they are apart even for a few days. They always hang out together, go to eat, try new hobbies like pottery and surfing, go on holidays together, even spend national holidays with each other's families (especially the non-korean members), there was even a time when jeongyeon's sister said tzuyu texted her saying she was at her home playing with her dogs😂 so yeah, they really love and cherish each other a lot. I hope you continue this journey, especially with their b-sides and Japanese songs!
