I am 71. BTS has made such a difference in my life. Read the lyrics, watch the videos but I believe their most outstanding trait is their ability to perform live. Beats all I have ever seen.
Way to go Ava! I'm 72 and their songs are in my head. I love their humanity. I love their closeness to their Army. I'm a Flower Child (and so are you) who still loves and listens to Hendrix and Zeppelin. My most recent music genre is Native American. They (BTS) practice, practice, practice. They live and play together. As for their affection for each other, I have lived in 2 Asian or Asian influenced cultures and demonstrated public affection is just an everyday thing. But Asian people like their privacy. Also, to embarrass someone is a huge No No. It's nice to have a dance beat, upbeat music readily available on my phone. Now,Ava, try Chinese/Korean dramas on your phone.
Add my name to the flower child generation loving the greatest group of musicians (and humans) in the business today! My granddaughters introduced me to BTS two years ago at Christmas. This 75 year old Nana has been an army ever since. Park Jimin is my bias. How about you?
Ava! I too am 71 years old. I had been SO bored with music the list several decades. BTS has made me love music again! How on earth can these beautiful 7 men be so relatable to an old southern white lady?? They are just magical! 💜
I love your reaction! You've just seen a very specific side of BTS; they literally only have three all-English singles, all of which are fun bubblegum pop songs meant to cheer up ARMY during the pandemic (Dynamite was simply meant to put a smile on ARMYs' faces, and then it launched them to superstardom 😂). The vast majority of their songs (pretty much all of the non-English ones) are very, very deep, discussing topics like mental health, youth empowerment, societal pressure, self love, etc. All of the members are incredibly involved in the music (which, sadly, is very rare in k-pop), and all members have many credits as songwriters, producers, composers, and performers (RM, the leader, has around 210 official song credits as of now, which I think now makes him the most credited idol in history (his album released on December 2nd I think pushed him to 1st place, but I'm still not sure)). BTS is adored for their lyricism and message, but it's actually their personalities that attract ARMY the most; they're all fun, playful, intelligent, humble, genuine people, and they love each other and ARMY like family. They've grown up together (the youngest member was thirteen when he started training and fifteen when they debuted as a group), and they're brothers at this point. There's seriously so much to be said about them and their story and their impact (they're the underdog story of the MILLENIUM), but it's kind of a long journey and not something to learn all at once (especially if you're only taking my word for it - having some proof might be better). If you're interested in getting to know them, I'd recommend that you first watch THIS IS BTS by xCeleste to understand a bit about them as a group, and then A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan Seven by Taylor, which will tell you about them individually and how they came together. If you're interested in exploring more of their music, I recommend Black Swan (written about their fear of losing their passion for music), On (Kinetic Manifesto Film THEN music video), Mic Drop (a certified banger for the haters - also considered their farewell: they haven't addressed a song to their haters since then), and Fake Love (an anthem talking about toxicity in our relationships with our inner selves and how you can't love others until you can love yourself). If you're not super interested in exploring them further, that's fine! Thank you so much for being so open-minded and positive. I hope you're having a great day/night/afternoon/evening/morning, and if you choose to continue with them, I'll be along for the ride! There's plenty to learn, and I know ARMY will be happy to help. 💜 P.S. I'm so sorry about how long this comment is - I get super excited when reactors are nice to BTS and I sort of start info-dumping...😅😭 Edit: The HYBE channel is their label, where the official MVs are released, but it also includes all the other music videos from all the other groups under their label - it says a lot that all of the top ones are from BTS. Just another thing, kind of like a gentle warning: if you get into other groups, none of them will be at all like BTS. They're all great, but BTS is number one for a reason: they speak to people's hearts. Like I mentioned, BTS is involved in their music in a way that none of the other groups are, and they write about things that no one else does. They were brave enough to speak out about real issues through their music even when they were just beginning, which was a huge risk for their careers because South Korea is already a very conservative country, and BTS came from the very bottom with no influence and no strength in the industry. Even so, they did what they thought was right and wrote the kind of music that saves people: there are so many stories that you'll hear if you continue about ARMYs who were on the verge of suicide and found BTS; ARMYs who lost their jobs, their homes, their families, and found the will to keep going because of BTS. All of the groups are wonderful, but BTS's music goes beyond what they other groups do and speaks to the soul (it's worth considering that a lot of idols aren't given creative freedom - they aren't allowed to write their own songs, and I think they might write about similar things if given the chance, but they aren't. Even so, BTS were the first, and, as of now, still the only ones as far as I'm aware). I've listened to other k-pop and liked it, but I've never gotten attached, and I realized that it isn't k-pop that I love, it's BTS. 😂 This isn't all to say that you shouldn't like other groups or that music with simpler meaning is bad, just that it's tricky going into k-pop through BTS because they set a specific standard of songwriting that no one else beats, so if you go into it with them as the example of a k-pop group, you'll be in for an interesting awakening. Anyway, I hope I answered some questions that you might've had, and I'm sorry if it sounded like I was being rude to other groups: I promise, I have the utmost respect for everyone in the industry, I just thought it was worth mentioning that BTS is not the normal.
Thank you for your very in depth comment. I will certainly continue exploring BTS and will be checking out THIS IS BTS and Taylor's guide. It is great to hear that BTS was able to people get through difficult times and when an artist or group is able to connect with people at that level it is something to be commended and seeing how BTS was able to do that at such a broad level it has my interest peaked. I am a pophead at my core and I picked Dynamite, Butter and Boy with Luv because they were the top songs on the UA-cam channel and the ones I heard of but I will totally check out the other genres BTS has created music in. I am still just a recruit in the BTS army but I am super interested in learning more.
Wonderful comment 💜 I would add to Nick that BTS and Army have grown organically together. Why ? Because BTS was not in the "Big 3" K-pop company so their debut was very difficult. They've been smart enough since the beginning to share their journey with fans through vlogs on UA-cam then lives on Vlive (now only on weverse which is Hybe app). And Yet still now even if they are the most influence and the biggest group worldwide they don't have air Time as on radio station because most of their songs are in Korean with little bit of english. So their succes is 50% due to Army dedication (streaming, voting, buying physical albums and charity events....) Real Army trust BTS 💯 and BTS trust in Army is 💯 I wish you an amazing BTS journey 💜
@@nickparkertv Welcome & I hope you enjoy your BTS journey. Here is the link for the most inclusive & up to date video on BTS by Taylor which was referenced in the wonderful ARMY reply. ua-cam.com/video/huV_yIdxZPY/v-deo.html Looking forward to more of your BTS reactions:)
70 year old BTS Army here. You picked two of their Grammy nominated songs, "Dynamite" and "Butter". They are two of three upbeat all English songs they did during Covid to cheer up their Armys. They received three more nominations this year, two are from a collab with Coldplay. They have won 11 American Music Awards including Artist of the Year. They gave also won a record 12 Billboard Music Awards and over 750 awards total since their debut in 2013. Thank you for your reaction!
I'm a 53 year old ARMY !!! One thing I love about ARMY is that we are so diverse....all ages, all genders and identities, all nationalities....everyone welcome....and all the differences fade away when talking about BTS. 💜
@@tanasmom1969 I agree with you for the most part. Unfortunately, I have run across some of the toxic Army members too, but the very vast majority are cool like you. Thank goodness! 💜
@@alicesworld1 Thank goodness I haven't run into any really horrible ones yet. I had some young girl try and tell me that if I had a bias that I wasn't a true fan...but I just laughed. LOL. I know I can love all my boys and be Jhope biased.🥰
this was the nicest first ever reaction i have ever seen caught me a bit off guard because i'm used to people being disrespectful when they don't know much about the group in the beginning thank you so much for reacting to them hope you watch more of their stuff and have fun 💜
you made the video omg! here’s just some things that might be helpful to know: 1. the one in Dynamite you liked (w/the space jam shirt) is Min Yoongi aka SUGA 2. persona isn’t a movie theatre it’s actually a reference to the album Boy With Luv is from, “Map of the Soul: Persona“ 3. you should make a part two that would be fun!
When I first saw Persona I thought it was a reference to the game lol but it makes more sense that it references another one of their projects. BTS reaction part 2 is coming very soon!
You definitely reacted to 3 of their most poppy songs, now it's time to react to a different side of BTS Mic Drop, Fake Love, and Black Swan are my recommendations.
Hi, Australian ARMY here. Just watched your reaction to BTS, these are great, fun songs but there's so much more. Rap, ballad, inspirational and deep lyrical meaning. You will read quite a lot of comments about how these guys have changed lives with their lyrics and words. They have bought together a group of fans who support the guys and each other through words and charitable works. 61 year old ARMY, 25 year old mind.💜🇦🇺
10:06 LMAOO The guy who ate the butter was Jhope (stage name) and during the behind the scenes he also thought it was gross, he spat it out right after the takes
Hi, 50 year old ARMY from UK here. Just discovered your channel today and lived this reaction. I would love to watch you discover the amazing phenomena that is BTS. They really do have a huge range of genres under their belt and on top of that they are true humble artists. I look forward to more reactions, you will be blown away. Their live performances are unbelievable.
@@nickparkertv All of us T_T and him as well. They usually do livestreams when they release an album, to explain things to us and just hang-out. he was as disgusted as we all, but they thought it'd make an impact so they went for it. Also, don't trust American interviews, most of them (most) are disgusting as they go into 3 cliche'd questions "where did you learn English" "which artist you want to collab with" (sometimes they even mention one another, bc they are tired, they never ask that to Beyonce, Justin Bieber or the likes so it's reducing them to "you can only be good if you feature in an english-speaking artist song")... So for Butter promotions, one host even ate butter in front of them... to say they were disgusted is a poor approach to it lol, there are army edits of these videos... hilarious. And the passive-aggressive "It's enough :)"
loved your reaction and how open you are to them! cant wait for some more reactions like mic drop, blood sweat & tears and spring day! will be waiting :D
BTS is involved their music since begining which was/still is quite rare in k-pop. If you jump into BTS rabbit hole... There are 300+ songs, solos, mixtapes, their japanese versions/songs, rap- and vocal-line songs, different BTS unit-, collab- and cover-songs, live conserts, awardshows... They have own variety-, travel- and vacation-shows, docu-series, behind shooting scenes/making MVs... and internet full of fanmade BTS clips... and lots of more... And if you want to know members better you can react Taylor Guide to BTS members. Sorry my english and greetings from the edge of Europe
Your English is perfect. I will be watching the Taylor guide soon to learn more about the members and branch out from there, still a recruit in the BTS army.
OMG I swear with the way you notice every detail and analyse stuff you're gonna love their other songs soo much, their MV's are literally always full of symbolisms and hidden meanings XD
i love your energy! will be looking out for more uploads ! The HYBE channel is the channel of their label, while BANGTAN is the official channel for the group(if i understand correctly!)
Thank you for your reaction. As Army I'm very glad that you appreciate this 3 songs. Those are more comercial songs, BTS is a category, you have all in. Suggestions, MicDrop, Fire, Dope, On, Black swan.... It's a world. I think it may be interesting you watch one video of introduction, to know better my boys. Love and support from a 45 years old Portuguese mom 💜🇵🇹
I love you going back to dissect and look at the room and all the individual shots😂 and the guy drinking milk in the beginning is wearing timberlands!! he had loved them for years and worn the crap out of them!!😅
@@nickparkertv omg yess they have dance practices for all their songs and he didn't do a single one without his timbs on for over 4 years in the earlier years of their career😂 I can't imagine dancing in them but he loved them too much to wear anything else!!
Welcome to the BTS Army. 💜 They all are bunch of amazing humans with incredibly relatable messages. I became an Army on February, 2022. Still a little bit new, and so far listened to 50 to 60 songs.
ok so basically HYBE is the company BTS is under, and it includes BTS but also other groups like TXT and ENHYPHEN. (they used to be called BigHit) and Bangtan TV is a youtube channel solely about BTS. hope that explains it!
The Channel you were on is their Label's channel - Bangtan TV is their personal channel for their vlogs/content kind of thing. Spring Day is one of their most memorable songs I think you should check out because of the history of it tied into subtle nods in their music video! All of their music is great and their Korean songs lyrics are meaningful and powerful! You should see the vocal range and performances they can obtain! Jin's triple high note in Crystal Snow for example. RM's new album Indigo is great to check out as well as JHope's Jack in the Box and Jin's single The Astronaut! Seventeen is also an AMAZING Kpop group that would be fun for you to react to with your positive energy and open mind!
Dynamite was their first all English song...which was a throwback to the disco era. Much different from the genres they did before. But it worked on gaining more English speaking fans. They were already worl wide famous by then but the US took a little longer to come around, until this song came out.
YES YOU ARE! I started listening to BTS in April and was hooked immediately....so much so that I went to the Yet to Come Live Play in Busan (from Dallas)! They are fantastic and you'll learn that they are such amazing, humble, funny, talented guys.
Thank you for your reaction. I like your energy. Hybe is the recording company (formerly known as BigHit). Their UA-cam channel has MVs from all of their artists. BangtanTV is BTS's channel and has not only MVs, but also dance practices, shooting sketch (behind the scenes of the MVs), Bangtan Bombs (miscellaneous clips) and more. BTW, BTS stands for BangTan Sonyeondan. I think the reason Butter does not yet have a billion views is there is more than one MV (different versions of the song) and a number of performance videos, including one they did at this year's Grammys.
I'm definitely up for a BTS reaction #2! Would love to see you explore their range! Can recommend the RUN BTS dance practice if you're looking for something with a lot of energy and fun that's also recent :D Welcome to the ARMY! 💜
I really enjoyed your reaction video!! Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole!! Once you enter you can never go back, lol. Suggestions for future reactions: DNA, MIC Drop, Fire, Idol or I Need You. All are good starting vids. Also watch “A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7”. That will give you a good background on their history, intro to each member and how the band began. I just subscribed to your channel and look forward to more BTS reactions!!
I’m so delighted to of found you. It always warms my heart when I hear first time reactions, because loving them is guaranteed 🥰 then I saw Captain and Ironman in the background! So I’m naturally loving your channel👍💜 purple heart (you will discover what that means soon for sure) happy Holidays
I LOVE your energy! Thank you so much for being so open-minded and just open and excited in general! I see that fellow ARMYs have already informed you on some basic stuff and cannot wait to see your journey in this rabbit hole that BTS is. You really won me over, I just subscribed. Quick note though, better not refer to BTS as "K-pop" since because we do not consider them that (plus k-pop is not really a genre) there's a video by "boracity magazine" that dives into why we ARMYs don't like to label them as "k-pop" if you want to check it out!
I swear I'll stop commenting but you are seriously blowing me away with noticing all the little things in the back and I'm just saying that's perfect cuz they always have a million things hidden and there is a reason or meaning for all of them! most people won't see them till the 20+ time watching😅
I love reading your comments. When I saw The Terminator post I knew there was going to be some interesting stuff in the background going forward. Going forward I gotta keep a look out for more.
@@nickparkertvthey love to hide all kinds of Easter eggs and just interesting things in the back so yess I can't wait to see more!! and also can't wait to see what all you spot on your own!! you're doing super great so far!!💜
You want to know BTS individually, look for Taylor's video "Introduction to BTS." If you want to know their growth as a group, look for The Most Beautiful Life: Story of BTS (2021 version). To know more about the ARMY look for XCelest Introduction to ARMY.
The difference between hype labels and BangtanTv is that Hype labes is the copay name and that is the you tube channel that contains most of the groups under Hype entertainment. BangtanTv is a personal you tube channel that only contains BTS contacts.
Just subscribed. The members of BTS, Kim Namjoon (RM) Kim seok-jin (Jin) Min Yoon-gi (Suga) Jung hoseok (J-Hope) Park Ji-min (Jimin) Kim Tae-hyung (V) and Jeon Jung-kook are amazing and we can't change that! I'm glad you are an ARMY just the most of the people who watched this :) I also really loved the reaction and that it was a good reaction, I'm looking forward to seeing move videos from you! ALSO! The reason why the music videos is on the company's channel is because, the BTS channel is for Run BTS episodes, updates, and UA-cam shorts! PS- Mic Drop, Run BTS, Yet To Come, Black Swan, and Spine breaker (That one's an old one) Are really good songs as well!
I’m just gonna say it right now - if you like these songs, you’re gonna like their others. There is a ton of content to keep you busy for a while, but I highly recommend you reacting to all of it. I’m sure there are a ton of recommendations in the comments. We’re always looking for new recruits to the ARMY. Loved these reactions, thank you so much! 💜
Hi ^_^ Suga is from "shooting guard" as in basketball position but you pronounced it correctly, in Korean it is written as "shyu-ga". They touched nearly every genre of the music (and kpop in general is abour mixing genres) so if you like: 1. Heavy Hip hop: Ugh, Cypher (my faves are no 3 and 4 due to the swag but first 2 are great too!) 2. Slight rock vibes mixed with EDM: Dionysus (live performance is awesome), Danger 3. Rock ballad: Lie 4. Stronger rock: Ma city 5. EDM: DNA, So what, Best of me 6. Bangers: Mic Drop, Fire, Run BTS 7. Sad/beautiful slower songs: Louder than bombs, We are bulleproof: The eternal, Young forever 8. Youth hymn: Spring Day (the queen of songs, nany references to Sewool tragedy, nicely explained by "Italian army") 9. Party songs: Go go, 21st century lady 10. Introspective hip hop: Outro:Tear (where they considered disbanding), Interlude: Shadow, Ego, Persona 11. Classic style hiphop/shout out to classics: Cypher 1 and 2, Hip hop lover, Come back home (cover of Seo Taiji - k-pop father) 12. Seducing/romantic vibes: I like it pt.2, Airplane pt.2 (due to melody, latin pop), Singularity (R&B) 13. Soft Jazz: Rain 14. Oldies head bangers: Jump, Spine breaker, Attack on Bangtan 15. Pop-funk: Telepathy, Dynamite 16. Emo rock: Fake love 17. Urban: I need u (beautiful, heavy with details, part of a Bangtan universe storyline which connects various songs and MVs) 18. MUST SEE because it's masterpiece: ON (kinetic manifesto or live performance) 19. Written for ARMY: Dynamite, Magic shop, Pied piper, 2!3!, Home 20. Solo mixtapes/albums: RM, AgustD(Suga), J-Hope make mostly hip hop, Jin, Jimin, JK, and V mostly pop/R&B/funk/ballad As you can see it's srsl a lot but if you have genre preferences the above might be useful ^_^
Thing is… what you’ve watched is almost the entirety of their pure ‘pop’ songs. If you’d watched ‘Permission to Dance’ and maybe ‘DNA’ you would have pretty much completed the set. They have over 300 songs, most of which are nothing like these and which are absolutely fantastic. They are so much deeper and more impactful than anything you’ve seen so far. Not that the pop songs aren’t great, just that BTS is so much more diverse than that. By the way, ‘Butter’ has maybe twenty different versions and videos, which is why the official mv may not be doing the same numbers as Dynamite.
Glad you liked the videos but you haven't even scratched the surface of what these guys are capable of. These were pop style videos and they have about every style of music you could name. Definitely watch Mic Drop with Steve Aoki, Black Swan, On, No Not Today, Run BTS, and many others and prepare to have your mind blown. House of Cards and Truth Untold are emotional songs that will tear your heart out. Their solo work is astounding. I'm especially in love with J-Hope's Jack in the Box album. And wow his performance at Lollapalooza was fire! Also Jin collab with Coldplay on The Astronaut. Now RM just came out with a new album called Indigo and Junkook sang Dreamers for the opening of the World FIfA Cup ceremony and it was awesome. They are hitting us so hard with new songs that we can hardly catch our breath. They are all having to go in the military soon so they are making sure to give us lots of music before they go. By the way, I am a 76 year old grandma from America and they have fans of every age from every country. They helped me and tons of others get through a depression and tough times. And as you can see from all the other posts. We can't stop talking about them once we get started, lol. There has never been anyone like them before and there never will be again.
i loved your reaction thank u so much!! so excited for your next reaction to bts you will like them more and more every time you see something or content from them
HYBE Labels has the official music videos. BANGTANTV has the other videos that aren't official music videos which are dance practices, performances, and other variety stuff. The list of popular BTS videos you showed, maybe start there for other music videos to view (they're all really good), unless you want to hear specific type of music. BTs does many genres. If you're in the mood for a specific kind, just ask and ARMY will recommend songs. If you want to know a little of their hsitory and each one in general, I suggest you check out A Guide To BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor. If you want to hear other artists, I suggest the other artists listed under HYBE Labels. Each group has their own sound and vibe and are good too.
I subscribed right away as I very much enjoyed your reaction. Always happy to see someone curious to explore BTS with open mind and no prejudice. Can't wait for you to dive into the rabbit hole of BTS content 😉 P.S. Congrats on your first 1k subscribers!!
Thank you for your reaction, and also I appreciate you payed attention in the behind also search about the member thank you 💜 this songs you heard are more pop songs you should check out the other stiles and songs next I suggest Mic Drop, Black Swan and I need you. Thank you so much love from Brazil!!
Good reaction! As many have already said you managed to pick all their english songs lol, I highly! recommend their korean tracks that are a bit older but really defined their journey! Dope, Fire, I Need U, Blood Sweat and Tears, Save Me, Fake Love, IDOL, Black Swan etc. there is so much! The bts army is going through a bit of a hard time now, but I think going back to their older songs is also a good way to reconnect with that time and reminisce so I wouldn't mind joining you on that journey if it happens 😄 아미 화이틴! 💜
Earned a subscription from me for this! Can't wait to see you explore more from them! Plenty of guides out there for learning about each individual members. They are such a special group. Warms my heart to see more people reacting to them 💜
"RUN BTS BUSAN CONCERT" or the dance practice. (Be careful, "RUN BTS" and "RUN" are two different songs). Bantangtv is for behind the scenes or things like that.
You listen to (in order) I need U, Run, the Wings individual short MV’s and then watch Blood, Swear & Tears. If you watch them in that order, hopefully it will make sense
I recommend you check their live performance at the The Grammys last April where they level up their production with Mission Impossible/Now You See Now You Don't theme production Vegas style. Thanks for reacting to BTS.
Halsey called BTS the Uncle Gang after she had her baby. You would be a good ARMY with your eye for detail. Their MVs are full of easter eggs and we watch repeatedly to catch all of them! The glass of milk is a reference to the *Got Milk?* ad campaign in the 80's.
Glad you're reacting, better late than never. Yas, this song Dynamite and even Butter are bangers but these were last minute songs to comfort people during hard/pandemic times and not just that, what they had to do to get recognized in the American music industry. Dive deeper, you'll see more of their discography... so many songs, hundreds of them but so many generes and even single projects.. very sad that the group is taking a break and some members are going to the military. Regardless, our boys are kings, they will forever be in the scene... such legends already!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you so much for your reaction. Welcome to the ARMY Private. Glad you picked up on what we ARMY call Easter Eggs. Their vids are loaded with hidden things, meanings and messages. I hope you react to more BTS. I subscribed and would love to follow your journey down the proverbial BTS Rabbit Hole. React to DOPE MV. They have a few words for their haters.
As an ARMY I'm thrilled that you have listened to and loved our guys. These are great songs you've listened to but there are so so many more. Mic drop, Black swan, Blood Sweat and Tears, Idol, Fake Love, and endless others too...then they have their ballads, solo stuff, live stuff, their MaMa award shows live ...you must watch those....mate, you are perched on the edge of the rabbit hole, welcome to the drop, Enjoy the ride!! 💜 Borahae Bangtan Sonyeondan 💜
Loved this reaction ❤ new subscriber. BTS Army for life 👌🏻 love seeing other people’s journeys through discovering them 😇 definitely would recommend listening to “Fire” “DNA” and “Dope” to start out with. There’s also “Black Swan” and “Blood Sweat and Tears” for a little less of a pop feel 👌🏻 as far as solo work Suga is my bias so I would recommend “Daechwita” or “Agust D” and he goes by Agust D for his solo stuff 👏🏻 but Jimin’s “Filter” or Jungkook “Euphoria” is also good to start out with ❤ whatever you choose I’m along for the journey and can’t wait to watch more reactions
I like so many of their songs. Became an ARMY around the Boy With Love period. (Dynamite and Butter helped me "get out of bed" during the pandemic.) But, my personal favorites are Not Today, Fire, On: Kinetic, Black Swan, Butterfly, and Mikrokosmos. (There's more, especially their individual works, but I'll stop here.) Keep going!
Enjoy the rabbit hole that is BTS they have the largest most diverse catalog of work I’ve ever seen. They also have the most globally diverse fan base of all ages almost all countries. Hybe is the music label but all the non MV content is on their BangtanTV. They have the most behind the scenes bonus content of any artist ever. Be aware the Army is like over enthusiastic wave we apologize and good luck diving in! Try BTS room live Festa it’s a 10 min live medley they performed which is all Bside tracks.
I just subscribed because I always love watching people who are respectful and curious about BTS learn more about them. BTS have so many genres and don't hold them selves back to any one genre or label. They are amazing artists. I would recommend a guide by Taylor to get to know the members more personally, but there are lots of other guides to their music to them as a group itself. 💜
Glad You are with us ARMY. Please watch live performance, namely black swan and on, they will blow your mind. Also "run bts 33" you will laugh your socks off. Love all the boys xx
YES! A fellow ep 33 enthusiast T_T Everyone mentions the zombie one, but ep 33 has me in stitches every damn time T_T and when they recreated it before the runbts hiatus? XD still managing to be that bad? XD aish
there is so many 90's reference in Dynamite, this is song literally happen when pandemi hits, and destined to cheer us up during the pandemi and 90's pop culture is a reminder of when things are much happier and funner... they succeeded!

Add my name to the flower child generation loving the greatest group of musicians (and humans) in the business today! My granddaughters introduced me to BTS two years ago at Christmas. This 75 year old Nana has been an army ever since. Park Jimin is my bias. How about you?
Silver Army here too! Their music saved my life. My bias is Jin as I can relate to him trying to deal with the youngers! But all Seven are my heroes!
P.S. I'm so sorry about how long this comment is - I get super excited when reactors are nice to BTS and I sort of start info-dumping...😅😭
Edit: The HYBE channel is their label, where the official MVs are released, but it also includes all the other music videos from all the other groups under their label - it says a lot that all of the top ones are from BTS.
Great comment!
Wonderful comment 💜
I would add to Nick that BTS and Army have grown organically together.
So their succes is 50% due to Army dedication (streaming, voting, buying physical albums and charity events....)
Real Army trust BTS 💯 and BTS trust in Army is 💯
I wish you an amazing BTS journey
💜
Namjoon is the second most credited, not the most credit*

LOL. I know I can love all my boys and be Jhope biased.🥰
this was the nicest first ever reaction i have ever seen
caught me a bit off guard because i'm used to people being disrespectful when they don't know much about the group in the beginning
thank you so much for reacting to them
hope you watch more of their stuff and have fun 💜
you made the video omg! here’s just some things that might be helpful to know:
1. the one in Dynamite you liked (w/the space jam shirt) is Min Yoongi aka SUGA
2. persona isn’t a movie theatre it’s actually a reference to the album Boy With Luv is from, “Map of the Soul: Persona“
3. you should make a part two that would be fun!
When I first saw Persona I thought it was a reference to the game lol but it makes more sense that it references another one of their projects. BTS reaction part 2 is coming very soon!
@@nickparkertv React to their solo's works too
Like RM's 'Wild Flower's it's very recent
@@nickparkertv the music video for Boy With Luv is also an homage to Singing in the Rain 💜
You definitely reacted to 3 of their most poppy songs, now it's time to react to a different side of BTS Mic Drop, Fake Love, and Black Swan are my recommendations.
Thanks I will check them out
"so much details...going on the back" they even did their details-thing all over Grammy stage this year, Butter performance 🔥🔥
Thank you for comment mate!
More BTS reactions please and I will follow you thru the BTS rabbit hole of discovery.
I love your energy and all the little things you notice!!💜 you're concern over him eating the butter was exactly my feelings😂
Eating that butter had me shook 😳
I'm so glad a lot of UA-camrs are slowly becoming armys it's so majestic to see so many ppl becoming fans 💜💜💜
I dont consider myself as an army, but damn those men r talented! They get sm hate for no reason 🤷🏽♀️ im obsessed with their performance videos
loved your reaction and how open you are to them! cant wait for some more reactions like mic drop, blood sweat & tears and spring day! will be waiting :D
Always down to try something new. BTS is so popular I had to listen to them.
i love self-deprecating humor generally :) interesting handle emoji lol
@@nickparkertv Hi 60 yr old Army here. Please watch the Taylor guide and also “The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story Of Bts (2022 Update)”
ARMY welcomes you 💜 BTS are amazing vocalists, rappers, lyricists, composers, producers and performers . . . They are LEGENDS!!!
BTS has made a huge impact on my life. They're amazing and I'm happy to be an ARMY they've helped me at my lowest
OMG I swear with the way you notice every detail and analyse stuff you're gonna love their other songs soo much, their MV's are literally always full of symbolisms and hidden meanings XD
i love your energy! will be looking out for more uploads ! The HYBE channel is the channel of their label, while BANGTAN is the official channel for the group(if i understand correctly!)
i’m being so sincere and honest when I say that BTS has saved my life.
Always better in live shows!! Also, they started as a hip-hop group. “Details’ is their middle name! Lol
Got a lot of recommendations for Taylor’s guide and THIS IS BTS so they are next. Thank you for your comment! 🙏
Run BTS live in Busan pls. The one with the w in upper right corner
I love you going back to dissect and look at the room and all the individual shots😂 and the guy drinking milk in the beginning is wearing timberlands!! he had loved them for years and worn the crap out of them!!😅
The fact he was dancing in timberlands like wut 😲
@@nickparkertv omg yess they have dance practices for all their songs and he didn't do a single one without his timbs on for over 4 years in the earlier years of their career😂 I can't imagine dancing in them but he loved them too much to wear anything else!!
Welcome to the BTS Army. 💜
They all are bunch of amazing humans with incredibly relatable messages.
Gotcha makes sense. I am used to all the music videos being on the artist's or group's channel.
Dude you are going down the rabbit hole. I started out with those two songs and have NEVER looked back.💕💜💕. Welcome to the Army!
Thanks for the reaction! So excited to see you react to more BTS!
I just love this!!! your reactions, singing allong uncontolably, you just enlisted through this video. 😂Welcome to this crazy family. 💜
They are fantastic and you'll learn that they are such amazing, humble, funny, talented guys.
new subscriber here. Thank you for the reaction to BTS.
Thank you bro . Drop more BTS related videos and I will be following your journey..
Welcome to the BTS UNIVERSE...From a 29 year old fan boy. 😎
Hope to see more BTS reactions on your channel! Best of luck on your channel's growth & God bless!
Haven't seen your reaction but subbed already. I usually check the ARMY comments and I see very positive ones.
Watching Taylor's guide very soon
I LOVED YOUR REACTION! OMG I had goosebumps all over. Thank you!
For me, the best song that I would never get tired of is Life Goes On.
For a variety of their never ending talent and genius I recommend the MAMA 2019 awards. It's phenomenal!
She gave them all a rather sparkly friendship bracelet and BTS presented her with a sparkle mic like their own.

Lots of people have recommended Taylor’s guide but not Story of BTS yet. I’ll check it out.
@@nickparkertv Tylor speaks more about their individual members. Their growth as a group is well said in Story of BTS (latest version of 2021)
The difference between hype labels and BangtanTv is that Hype labes is the copay name and that is the you tube channel that contains most of the groups under Hype entertainment. BangtanTv is a personal you tube channel that only contains BTS contacts.
You will be even more surprised when you listen to more of their music
Absolutely loved your reaction! Cannot wait to see more!
Just subscribed.
The members of BTS, Kim Namjoon (RM) Kim seok-jin (Jin) Min Yoon-gi (Suga) Jung hoseok (J-Hope) Park Ji-min (Jimin) Kim Tae-hyung (V) and Jeon Jung-kook are amazing and we can't change that!
I'm glad you are an ARMY just the most of the people who watched this :)
I also really loved the reaction and that it was a good reaction, I'm looking forward to seeing move videos from you!
They touched nearly every genre of the music (and kpop in general is abour mixing genres) so if you like:
1. Heavy Hip hop: Ugh, Cypher (my faves are no 3 and 4 due to the swag but first 2 are great too!)
2. Slight rock vibes mixed with EDM: Dionysus (live performance is awesome), Danger
3. Rock ballad: Lie
4. Stronger rock: Ma city
5. EDM: DNA, So what, Best of me
6. Bangers: Mic Drop, Fire, Run BTS
7. Sad/beautiful slower songs: Louder than bombs, We are bulleproof: The eternal, Young forever
8. Youth hymn: Spring Day (the queen of songs, nany references to Sewool tragedy, nicely explained by "Italian army")
9. Party songs: Go go, 21st century lady
10. Introspective hip hop: Outro:Tear (where they considered disbanding), Interlude: Shadow, Ego, Persona
11. Classic style hiphop/shout out to classics: Cypher 1 and 2, Hip hop lover, Come back home (cover of Seo Taiji - k-pop father)
12. Seducing/romantic vibes: I like it pt.2, Airplane pt.2 (due to melody, latin pop), Singularity (R&B)
13. Soft Jazz: Rain
14. Oldies head bangers: Jump, Spine breaker, Attack on Bangtan
15. Pop-funk: Telepathy, Dynamite
16. Emo rock: Fake love
17. Urban: I need u (beautiful, heavy with details, part of a Bangtan universe storyline which connects various songs and MVs)
18. MUST SEE because it's masterpiece: ON (kinetic manifesto or live performance)
19. Written for ARMY: Dynamite, Magic shop, Pied piper, 2!3!, Home
20. Solo mixtapes/albums: RM, AgustD(Suga), J-Hope make mostly hip hop, Jin, Jimin, JK, and V mostly pop/R&B/funk/ballad
As you can see it's srsl a lot but if you have genre preferences the above might be useful ^_^
Thank youuuuuu for listening to BTS and enjoying their music, looking forward to your next BTS reactions!!

The bts army is going through a bit of a hard time now, but I think going back to their older songs is also a good way to reconnect with that time and reminisce so I wouldn't mind joining you on that journey if it happens 😄

Glad you're reacting, better late than never.

Love Mikrokosmos, one of my favorites!
Love the positive energy, man!
Glad You are with us ARMY. Please watch live performance, namely black swan and on, they will blow your mind. Also "run bts 33" you will laugh your socks off. Love all the boys xx
Glad to be a part of the army 🫡
Definitely ON from Jimmy Kimmel is a must watch!
YES! A fellow ep 33 enthusiast T_T Everyone mentions the zombie one, but ep 33 has me in stitches every damn time T_T and when they recreated it before the runbts hiatus? XD still managing to be that bad? XD aish
These are the more Pop songs they have. You should react to Run Bts dance practice and ON
I subscribed to you! Once you learn their names, there's no turning back the rabbit hole!
Aussie Army here just wanted to take the time to say we really appreciate the positive vibes your bringing 💜 ✨️
idol is really something
there is so many 90's reference in Dynamite, this is song literally happen when pandemi hits, and destined to cheer us up during the pandemi and 90's pop culture is a reminder of when things are much happier and funner... they succeeded!
I loveeee your reaction..pls do more BTS
I love that you keep yourself in a small screen - so that we se BTS better in your reactions💜
