Brother almost 6yrs ago I was a full blown alcoholic!I actually checked myself in rehab/detox the day before my 45th bday.I turned 45 in rehab.By only the power of God and his mercy am I alive an texting you!He saved my life.I was in a very dark place.I had just lost my mother.She was like a big sis to me but yet still a mom.Hope ya understand what I’m saying.I ask God while I was in rehab to please take it from me.I tell ya my brother in Christ.I never looked back nor did I have the craven for it again!All my friends were shocked to see 5yrs roll around and ole Billy was still sober.Had a young man ask me one day at a tournament how I overcome it.I said son do ya believe in the Lord.He said well yeah.I said no do ya really believe?He stood there a minute and pondered.Then he walked off.Well I seen him this past summer and he called me aside and said do ya remember that conversation we had?I was like yup.He said Mr.Billy I’ve been sober almost a year…So folks if you’re struggling.Please trust in the lord and hand it to him!Sorry for taking up so much time.Great tournament man!👍🏼👍🏼🙏
