I have made a jug pulling hook out of an extendable painters stick. It makes it easier to grab the jugs. (Im in texas now and we have gators, so the less I have my arm in the water the barter hahhaa) I enjoyed your video, I grew up in Oklahoma and miss some of the lakes I grew up fishing on, this being one I fished several times. Keep up the fun videos. dale
I grew up on Lake Eufaula (Arrowhead Estates Canadian). What part of Eufaula is this? My friends and I would jump on our 4 wheelers and go 20 miles up the Canadian river side playing on the beaches and setting trot lines. Love that place.
I watched a bunch of noodle fishing videos back during ( don't be around other people covid) made me about a dozen NOODLES...... So I had a bucket of noodles made up and it dawned on me THAT I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A BOAT LOL LOL. Still have the noodles , but I got the next best thing. Some Catfishing Rods.
Nice enjoyed that. My two buddies are still down there for a few more days doing the same thing. 11 more months Lord willing and I can say that R word too. Retirement….lol
Nice catch! I was on Lake Eufaula with a brother and a couple of friends from work, it was Labor Day weekend 1985. We had a great time on a rented party barge. That night we were watching the news after getting home. There was a family on the lake that day, a 12 yo boy was skiing, had dropped the rope and was waiting for the family to pick him up. While that was going on, something, suspected to be a monster catfish due to the marks, came up swallowed one of his legs completely and pulled him totally under water. True story. Channel 12 news out of Shreveport, La broadcast the story, that's where we saw it. Sometimes there actually are monsters in the water.😂
@@maandpasadventures5147 definitely. That was the general consensus at the time. It was nothing to walk in any store around the lakes up there and see multiple pictures of 99 plus fish on the board of fame. That kid's leg looked like somebody had gone over it hard with 36 grit sandpaper. I've often wondered if he ever got back in the water.🤣
@@maandpasadventures5147 on a side note, there was a store in Antlers(if my memory is correct) that had a huge rattler in an aquarium. The owner said he had never paid that $20 out a single time. And yes. I tried.🤣🤣🤣
My First time seeing ya'll on here, Reminds me of Jug Fishing with my Pa, Dad and Uncle. Great Memories.

Nice lake we have some good Jug Fishing Tournaments there...
When and where are the tournaments?
Could ya do a video? On how ya make your jugs? I have been running 1 hook per jug. The local lake here is deep and very clear.
Ma has been wanting to make a video on that. When I get the material rounded up we will make some.
Nice work guys
Thank you.
Yeah what a haul!!!
Thank you.

We have 100 plus pound catfish in the lake.
A 150 pound Flathead could do that.

Best lake on earth...I lived in Lahaina Maui from 2015 to 2020 and I missed Eufala the entire time. Not even joking.
I missed The Cut 😅
We love Lake Eufaula!
Can pa please make a video about how he makes the jugs y’all use?

Yes, we always have fun fishing!! Thanks for watching!!
I love your boat what kind is it?
It’s a 24 foot SeaArk
@@maandpasadventures5147 Made in Monticello, Arkansas, right?
@@jarodmorris611 yes sir
You mentioned crappie as one of your baits. Do they allow you to bait with crappie in OK? Sure don't in TX! Considered a game fish here.
If you catch it on a hook we can use it.
If it’s caught in a net we have to return it to the lake.
We were using heads from crappie we had cleaned.
Be truthful...how many times you forget to plug thatt boat?
I'll sub if you're honest 👍🏼
Twice in the 6 years I have had it.

Gentry creek was good fishing back 50 years ago. 😊😊
My dad bass fished it all the time. I haven’t been there in 40 years.
I have caught a few catfish on jugs in that spot years ago
@@accessiblecrafting300 Good place to catfish
Ma what's the price for the neighbors fishing license? 😊
Our neighbor that was fishing with us is a Veteran and he has a Lifetime Oklahoma hunting and fishing license? Why are you asking?
Yeah I don’t think crappie is legal to use for bait in Oklahoma. Unless it’s recently changed because I have fished in Oklahoma for 50 years plus
If you catch Crappie on a hook, you can use it as bait!
I go jug hunting at the
Bunny Club
I’m here in Arkansas right on Oklahoma line.
I don’t think Arkansas let’s us use crappie.
Each state has different rules. In Oklahoma they have to be caught with a hook. We cannot keep them if caught in a net or trap.
Some buddies of mine and I were jug fishing Eufaula Lake 8 years ago. watch?v=KvZGRES61T4
Crappie for bait? THE Crappie would be in the frying pan
Crappie heads after we fillet them.
Yes, we use some of the SMALL crappie and crappie heads.
They got no idea hun@@maandpasadventures5147
Why don’t you put in at Arrowhead ramp ? Those rocks will put you in the hospital!
That is Arrowhead ramp we are using.
Too bossy for me.
I’m sorry you think that, I was trying to teach Moua how to run the jugs when I’m not there. 😉
