    Hi ! Nice point there...
Everybody is different, but what really matters here is to STAY CLEAN!
If you have to go through this, stay calm, you will succeed, even if you have a normal fear.Really,it sucks, but it is only 3 days very hard...after that,it is just an attitude, the warrior in you will take contrôle(sleepless nights, rls, you know already that will last longer,so,be ready.)
Courage to all of you,Tim is your beacon in this cold and dark journey, write to him or in comments,we,ex addict,we will never let you down, because we know that your ordeal is immensely challenging, and, frankly , you deserve better than the mess that your life has become...
    I am in my 5th month,I stumble 2-3 times,but did'nt fall.Misery is a short living demon,and misery hates strong characters,like yours .
    Love you all!❤

I’ve got to day 8, the worst is over, and let me tell you, you’ve got this.
Anyone reading please.. don’t give up. You WILL feel like giving up, but it’s not you and your will to live is stronger than that.. Push through and surrender yourself.. because I promise you, Yes YOU are WORTH IT!
Don’t let the demons of your mind take over, pray pray pray and God will Heal YOU 🙏 I love you all x ❤

How are you doing today? Keep going!!! I had 5 months on march 17th. I could never get past 3 days before but I stuck through it this last time. If I can do this, ANYONE CAN. I was completely hopeless. ❤

@@ChicagoGurl Hey! Well done for pushing through!! 🙏❤️ I bet you feel fantastic!!
I made it 20 days clean and the depression got sooooooo bad I ended up relapsing.. which started as the stupid thought of ‘Oh I’ll just take one to get a damn break from this misery’??? Yeah big mistake, ended up on a 10 day binge which I was so ashamed about 😢.
So I said NO MORE, learnt my lesson, where I went wrong etc... went CT AGAIN 🤦🏻‍♀️ buckled down, sucked it up and told myself I’m a fckn BEAST and I am going to get through this.. So.. now 10 days clean, no way I am EVER going back.. Twice the torture was enough for me lol

@@exoticwater yep!! The depression always grabbed me too. Someone mentioned kratom on here for pain and depression and it’s been a life saver. Just take it on bad depression days. It melts away depression and anxiety in minutes. Try it. And thank you so much. Get back to your recovery… relapse will be part of it for awhile but you’ll get there. Be careful of kindling if you have to reinstate your dose. That really is a thing with this crap. ❤️

Aww Kim thank you so very much 🙏. I am totally alone in this and your words of encouragement mean more than you know ♥️. Unfortunately I’m in Australia so cannot get Kratom here.
But, I will push through no matter what. It was my first time going CT and didn’t realise the grip these oxy’s had on me.. until now. Never heard of kindling? I’ll look it up now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are a blessing and an inspiration xx 🙏❤️🦋. I’m so proud of you x

    Day 18 for me.
Passion flower and GABA for sleep and restless legs.
Vitamin C arbsoic acid. 5 grams in the morning and 5 grams in the evening. You can get all these at Holland and Barrets in UK.
I was taking dihydorcodeine for 17 years for shoulder and back injury.
Been a nightmare. The hardest is the physical but more mental I.e. Anxiety been bloody horrible. Thanks for the videos Tim. You and Ryan Donnelly have been a godsend.

Tim thanks so much. I woke up with horrible nerve pain and burning in my feet, could this be a withdrawal symptom? I'm on zapain about 60mg a day on and off for several years and believe it's given me bile acid malabsorption and nerve pain. Also are you familiar with opiate induced hyperalgesia? Does this go away over time? Thanks so much!

    • @TimJohnsonrecovery
      @TimJohnsonrecovery  4 місяці тому +1

Yes my friend familiar with both ! Nerve pain and opiate induced hyperalgesia both can be withdrawal symptoms and both will ease hopefully in time ! They did for me as my body healed with clean diet , exercise and time ! Good luck my friend 🙏🏼

    • @bhav213

@@TimJohnsonrecovery thank you for replying Tim. Did you take anything like Pregabalin for the nerve pain? It sometimes feels like I'm walking bones.
Just to explain I have been taking zapain and baclofen on and off for maybe 10 years. I had withdrawal symptoms during these years and never realised it or made the connection.
A few days ago I stopped both drugs and I immediately went into withdrawal. I've since used both but still having withdrawals.
Do you think if I came off both at the same time it would be OK or should I stick with the baclofen and wean off that later? I'm seeing my psychiatrist in 6 days so will ask for sleeping pills etc then. Should I keep with the drugs until this time do you reckon?
Could urine infections and memory loss be symptoms too? Could you also develop a sensitivty to B6? My body goes numb if I eat b6 rich foods and this never happened before a succession of seemingly permanent symptoms like bile acid malabsorption and nerve pain developed two years ago.
Sorry if I'm asking so much, I'm obviously anxious but also I only just made the connection that opiates are the cause of my misery and nearly led to my suicide multiple times.

It started to begin to get better after 4 or 5 days . But it took many months of working on myself to begin to feel strong and well again

@@TimJohnsonrecovery I don't have any hearing loss. My thinking is the nerves are active in the ear like with the rest of the body. Just hope it goes. Like my own private concert of music I hate!
