- The all black Glock 43x with Ameriglo sights is my new EDC pistol. In this video we take a quick look at it and we will also take a look at the upgrades in cluding holsters, trigger and grips.

Both of you could just buy the slide of the other gun as the frames are completely the same dimensions and allow for a direct swap out
I just got this gun and it's great. You'll love it too. If you carry a a
Compact or full size you'll like this alot better. Trust me. Trigger sucks at first after you shoot it that goes away. For me personally at least.

Shield Arms now makes a flush fitting "S15" 15 round magazine for the G43X and the reviews are good so far.

Nice product overview! On the smaller guns at AIWB it’s better to have the holster a little longer than the barrel for comfort! Carry on

That overwatch precision trigger is great! I love it on my 43x, definitely worth the money.. I shoot more accurate with it and I’m pretty sure it helps with rate of fire.. I can dump a mag much quicker thanks to that awesome trigger

I have that Harry’s holster in blue with the claw and a wedge for my M&P Shield awesome.. I am thinking about a Glock 43X, I haven’t had a Glock in 6 years. shot show 2020 will let me know if I should get one or not
Hold a 43X in your hand, bet you’ll really like it, then try it out at the range before you buy if ya can.
Mags drop great with no interference on your palm, it’s slim and has front serrations. It’s a great little pistol imo even tho I usually carry a 320 or g26. I’m testing out best way to carry it with least printing and optimal comfort.

To all you new gun owners buy a leather holster especially if you’re going to carry appendix. 1791 Has really soft leather comfortable holsters
Dont blame u at all for getting rid of the Sigs. Not at all. Sig needs a major revamp in the QC department. Meanwhile, I love looking at Glock 43X videos while holding mine. Talon rubber grips on the 43X are phenomenal. U should give them a look. Great video.

yeah Glock triggers are the best staple gun triggers on the market. I put a smooth trigger shoe on mine and gave it a polish job....alot better now

What’s the model number on your ameriglow sights?
I’m sorry but I don’t have the packaging anymore. They are the Agent model.
You can take a Dremel with a fine sander and make that sharp trigger safety tab flat and flush.
+Roger McGee you are correct, however I like the feel of the Overwatch trigger and the trigger shoe is flatter and a bit wider which to my finger feels much more comfortable. Thanks for watching!

As soon as mine clears and I finish paying it off I'm gonna have my buddy install an Apex trigger if they make one for this model. I absolutely dig the grip. My fingers are snug as fuck. I'm enjoying my alien gear holster for my Shield. There's a bunch of options in that box. 😁

For carry, I'm curious if the extra length of the 48 helps or hurts compared to the 43x.
Actually I think it’s a positive. With the right holster, it actually helps the grip of a pistol to stay closer to my body. It’s a non-issue for me. Thank you for watching.
The p365 standard is a much better option. It's more versatile and concealable. With flush 10 round mag on warmer days and the 12 or 15 round mag options for cooler days. I like glock but I think the 365 standard is a better gun. Metal and night sights standard are also a factor.
I think one can make a case for either one. Personal preference really. I like the 43X, but I like the trigger and I shoot the P365 better.
They sent you the holsters, the least you could do is put the gun in the damn things🤣

Was I hard to install?
No. And I’m not what you would say an experienced gunsmith by any stretch of the imagination. I know my way around a pistol and some other firearms. But this is the first time I venture into replacing a trigger on my own. It was no problem.

Whats the claw on the holsters for?
Puts pressure on the belt from the inside which brings the grip of the pistol closer to your body. It helps to conceal it even better. Thank you very much for watching

Sorry I'm new to this , but what is the purpose of the claw on the holster?
No problem at all. It helps push the holster even more into your body keeping the grip of the pistol more concealed as it presses closer to you.

+J Ames I love my G26 gen 5 with Ameriglo sights. I actually shoot it better than my G19...
Are there any instances in which you’ve had to go back to the 43 for the sake of concealment because the 43X grip is just a little longer.

For a long time I carried my 43 with a +2 mag extension. I never felt under gunned. When I needed to, I would carry the six round mag. You don’t have that flexibility with the 43X. Having said that, I shoot a 43X much better. I also carry it now with the shield arms 15 round mag. Hard to beat. All personal preferences.
Alot of good holsters but maybe next time actually put the pistol inside the holsters so we can see how it sits there? Retention and ride height means alot in holsters. Thanks

do what you want to the internals of your gun that you will carry for defending yourself. but for me personally I would only use Johnny Glock triggers and parts he uses only OEM parts and he is a certified Glock Armour if you have to use deadly force to defend yourself the lawyers will use the fact you modified your gun rite or wrong they will use that against you with but with enhancing OEM parts you get a great trigger and still maintain stock safety specs
Find me once instance ever where a person was convicted of anything after a justified shoot because they had a legally modified firearm. This is a myth that has been around for ages but is just that, a myth. If you use your firearm in a legal manner there's nothing to be concerned about.
@jim sbarglia - the trigger the I installed by Overwatch also uses OEM parts. The difference being a polished OEM trigger bar and a flat trigger. That's it. Also, I have yet to find a single case where someone was convicted in a justified shooting because of a modified trigger. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
What is the claw for? One handed racks?
+Austin France - if you are referring to the claw on the holster, it’s to help push the holster against your belt thus keeping the gun tucked into your body for less printing.

Just a question about UA-cam fire arm videos. Why are you showing me the gun is clear? Has anyone ever been shot by watching a video? Just asking.
That’s a good question. There are a lot of “safety Nazis” out there that throw fits if a pistol is not shown as clear, they also freak out if you point the pistol to the camera. I personally think it is ridiculous. Having said that, what I believe, is that we need to lead by example because many first time shooters and younger people do watch our videos. So I believe that it is a good practice to show that before you handle any firearm you check and make sure that it is not loaded. That’s why I do. For the younger people and for the first time shooters to see that you always check and never assume it’s safe. Thank you very much for watching!

@Dwayne Smith - I wanted to do a quick video showing the pistol and the holsters/trigger that I had gotten for it. The trigger system was installed yesterday and I plan on making a follow up video showing the new trigger and go into which holster I like better showing how the gun fits into them. Debating between this or the 26.
Totally a personal preference. I loved my 26 gen5 with Ameriglo sights till this 43x. My suggestion is that you find a range that rents both and shoot them. She which one you like better. I love the mag compatibility of the 26, but the 43x is more comfortable to carry (for me) and o shoot it better. Thanks for watching!
Good points for sure but remember that the G26 gen 5 does not have the finger grooves and you can have 12 round mags for the 26. The 15 round mags for the 43x/48 have been delayed and who knows when we’ll be able to get them. Then, we have to see how they test once they make it into the hands of many shooters to make sure they are reliable. Time will tell on those new mags. It’s all personal preference and what feels best for the individual. I have a G26 gen 5 and love it. However the G43x has been my EDC until my testing of the Hellcat. Thanks for watching.

I’ve been testing a P365 XL for the last couple months and it’s been flawless. So has the G43x.

Lol. Seriously the trigger bothers you wow. You could have sanded down that trigger saftey if it really bothered you that bad.
Yes, it did bother me. It is a well-known and widely reported issue. Sanding down the trigger safety was one of the options that I had. I chose to go in a different direction. Thank you for watching.
@@MDpolo lol. Thats cool. I have a lot of glocks and ive never had a problem with the trigger. A matter of fact I thank it's one of the best triggers out there. This is actially the first video that I have heard of this complaint on the glock. I caint feel that blade on my finger on any of my glocks but each their own I guess. Stay safe brother

I own both of them you can’t compare a 43X that does not fit in your pocket to a Sigg P3 65 and if you do you don’t know what you’re talking about an XL is a different story and to carry a 43X I suggest you click carry a Glock 19Unless you have hands like a girl
