Bring It On Home, is also great live at Royal Albert Hall (1970). You can actually watch the full concert on UA-cam, watching each of their 4 live concerts, are wonderful to watch. I love hearing Plant play the harmonica, he’s so great at it.
@MusicForTheSoulReactionshe’s a crackerjack mouth harp player. No lie. Wait until you get to the end of Zep IV, he does some of the best harmonica work you’ll ever hear
The story is, that when Robert was 15 or so, and mad to see all the black blues and. Rockabilly players who were touring England in the early 60’s, he went to see Sonny Boy Williamson. Sonny was a very tall, pretty intimidating black dude. Robert, just 15 mind, found himself next to Sonny at the urinals during a break. Robert asked Sonny for his autograph. Not exactly the right moment. Robert said Sonny looked down at him from his great height, glowered, and said: Fuck off, kid. So Robert, being Robert, left, and passing Sonny Boy’s dressing room on the way out, nicked his harmonica. Supposedly, this is the same harmonica Robert has used throughout Zeppelin and his long solo career. Good story, no? Told by Robert himself. But that doesn’t mean it’s true 😏. Robert doesn’t let facts get in the way of a good story. I love to listen to him tell his yarns. In this case though, I think the story is utterly true. Sounds like what Robert would have done at that age. Pretty wild and full of chutzpah. He and Bonham were a pair alright
You really need to see this live at Royal Albert Hall (1970), it’s Bonham’s amazing 15 minute solo, & it’s absolutely incredible. It originally was called Pat’s Delight, for Bonham’s wife Pat. His young son Jason, started calling it Moby Dick, his dad’s really big song. Bonham performed his solo over 400 times, at some point during a 3 to 4 hour nonstop concert. John Henry (Bonzo) Bonham greatest drummer ever, he’s still missed by millions.
Led Zeppelin studio albums, in chronological order: - Led Zeppelin (1969) - Led Zeppelin II (1969) - Led Zeppelin III (1970) - the album usually described as "Led Zeppelin IV" (1971) - Houses of the Holy (1973) - Physical Graffiti (1975) - Presence (1976) - In Through the Out Door (1979) - Coda (1982)
So yes I needed a shot of your humor, & you definitely delivered LMAO! I live on coffee, I can’t say I’d be desperate enough, to drink some that tastes like sweaty ass. I can’t stand the flavored coffees. Thank you thank you, for my Saturday morning laughs, I’ve certainly missed you, thank you for your reaction.
Hey Steve, I'm still with you! I just haven't had much time to watch lately! I enjoyed your reaction to these very much, you're so funny and entertaining! I imagine you could be a comedian! Hey, I'd watch you lol! Anyway, the next album is Led Zeppelin III, which is folky and mostly acoustic with a Zep spin of course. I really think you will enjoy it, even though it wasn't too well-received back in the day, I've always loved it. They did a show at the Royal Albert Hall in 1970, that is just absolutely incredible! I would love to see you react to as many of those as you have time for, as there are several from the first 2 albums. Ok.. I'll narrow it down, Moby Dick live from that show is just amazing, and then there's I Can't Quit You Baby and Bring It On Home, a couple of my other favorites from that show. If you don't have time to do all three before the next album, no worries, I'll just end up bothering you to do them later! 😅 I've sure missed watching you! ☮️❤️
Hey Zephead, nice hearing from you. No worries, life gets busy, you drop in on the channel as an whoever you feel like you want to or can, no expectations on my end 🙂. I'm glad you find the videos fun and entertaining, it's certainly a goal of mine alongside the reviews. Oooo an acoustic type album sounds fascinating! Completely different change of pace than the previous! Good to see them experimenting. I think I'll do a live at Albert Hall reaction of a song from Led II before moving on to Led III. Can't wait. Take care ZepHead
Regarding your remark about Jimmy being an “attention “ whore”. Jimmy Page formed Led Zeppelin at a time when the guitar was becoming the star of the show. Remember, this was the time of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Jimmy took on a persona when playing very different from his off-stage personality. Very charismatic. As you go on and watch the development of the band into Zep IV and watch live footage, you’ll see how his stage presence changes. All the guys were stars. Jimmy knew that. And knew thats what made Zeppelin great. But Zep II especially is a guitar- centered album. Those were the times
@MusicForTheSoulReactions Led Zeppelin 4 is untitled, nothing saying who the album is by, they each picked a symbol to represent them. Most call it Led Zeppelin IV though. The III is more acoustic, done beautifully by them, I love many songs on it. I believe IV is their best selling album.
YAY F YEA!!! just came from your **GeniusRen** reaction! Yippieeee cant wait to see what your **Thoughts** & **Feelings** are on these! OMG YUM **Bring It On Home** is **Delicious** & course as always **MyJimmyPageWizardBabe** is just **Fantastically Wizarding OUT** on BOTH of these Mmmm YUM

Yes Led Zep III is to be next. With a more folk flavor but also, for me, it starts the most agressive song from that period. When I first heard Immigrant song, I was 12, I couldn't imagine human creatures could do that.
Nice! Love your insanity matches the hairdo. What's Plant going to sing about a Mobeys Dick 😂😂. It's a drum piece. Ever thought of recording your crazy and rolling it into a stand-up comedy routine. After all you got people looking in your windows. Don't forget YES
Hahaha after I recorded I noticed my straight out of bed hair...classy 🤦♂️. I wont forget YES, keep working ny way up to their masterpiece that is supposedly going to twist my brain through a mangle! I don't think I have the attention span for a stand up routine 🤣
Love the Zeppathon very entertaining let’s keep in order with Zep 3 definitely different from first 2 albums you’re almost to the pinnacle zep 4 in my opinion
@MusicForTheSoulReactions Page was the lead guitarist in the Yardbirds. He joined them in 1966, after having been a top studio musician in London for several years. Jeff Beck asked him to join after their bassist left. . So Jimmy started as the bassist and quickly moved to second lead guitar with Beck. Beck then left the band, and Jimmy became the sole lead guitarist for the rest of their run. The rest of the guys were disheartened...they'd been trying to really break through in the US for years, and they were mismanaged by their record label etc. Long story short (or shorter), Jimmy was the "last man standing" after everyone else abandoned the band. He inherited the name, the music, but also the contractual concert engagements still on the calendar for The Yardbirds. He had to get a good band together QUICK. That's why the timeline was so amazing: Yardbirds disbanded in the summer of 1968. Jimmy started looking for the types of guys he wanted to put together a kick-ass band. He was pointed toward Robert in July.....they got together and meshed. JPJ got wind that Jimmy was forming a band, and having known Jimmy from years of studio work together, asked if he needed a bassist. Robert suggested Bonzo. They had to work at getting Bonzo, because he was just beginning to make some decent money up north as a drummer, but Peter Grant finally persuaded him with an advance and the band was complete. Jimmy was in total charge of everything, and Peter backed him up. Jimmy was known and experienced, a rather posh Londoner, and was four years older than Robert and Bonzo.... The power dynamics shifted over the years as each member became indispensable. I know this seems long...but of course the full story is much more complex. I will say that when Robert and Jimmy got back together in 1995 or so, each having had other projects for 15 years, Robert was very specific that the power dynamics had changed. It was his project and his band and Jimmy was brought on board so that he and Robert could work their creative magic together once again. This time, it was a partnership
He had supreme mess around privileges. 😁 The mighty rhythm section followed him often. And Rob played a mean tambourine and moaned while Mr. Page did "Pagey stuff." Heard that somewhere, seems apt. Ty again for reaction sir!
Brilliant mate.....Great album....zeppelin 3 is different... albums 1 to 4.... that's the order....you got to watch bonham do moby dick live....albert hall or msg....both amazing....later Steve
AHAHAHA i just **LuvzYa** ya **Crack Me Up** BUT hey hey hey back OFF **MyBeautifulJimmyPageMagicalMusicalGeniusWizardBabe** Ha smh THIS was *Fantastical** **Luv** your **KookyNutterHeadSpace** & YES pretty please do **Led Zeppelin III** next
You do remind me just a LITTLE bit of Brain Squeeze. But then, he has really bad ADHD and you’re just wound up tight from too much coffee! 😂. I do feel sometimes like I want to slip you a Xanax to slow you down though 😘
I've often been asked by many who know me if I have a touch of ADHD. Who knows 🤷🏻. I just see it as I am who I am, embrace it. Although Xanac might be nice! P.s. who is Brain Squeeze? Need to see who I'm being compared too!
@ he’s a reactor on UA-cam. Also a rapper. Started as mainly reacting to hip hop. He came across my radar when he started doing Floyd and Zeppelin. He also did allot of soul and Motown and then REN. I stuck with him for awhile, but then he veered off back to hiphop etc. He has serious ADHD which he controls at work but lets loose on his channel. Lots and lots and lots of “fucks”, which doesn’t bother me in the least. One of my big accomplishments as a Freshman in college was learning how to swear like a sailor. Money well spent 😁😘✌️

@ Hi Helen Happy New Year. I wish Plant played it more often, I know he couldn’t on every song, but I’d have loved it a little more.

@@sicotshit7068 I agree with you, Ronnel. Totally. I love harmonica. I think his playing on Levee is some of the best I’ve ever heard.
The greatest music for the soul. LED ZEPPELIN
💯💯👌

@MusicForTheSoulReactions Watching that will also either make you wanna be a drummer or kill your dream of ever being one. 😊
Bonham oh my one of the best ever
💯👌

LZ II, aka "The Brown Bomber" is truly one of those rare perfect albums in rock history.
I have loved every track on this album! A rare feat these days!

@MusicForTheSoulReactions LOL
@MusicForTheSoulReactions I agree, you bring smiles on our faces while listening to our favorite bands.
