If you are putting any child into the car, seat her/him in rear seat and make on mechanical child lock. In that the door will not open from inside but can be opened from outside. So earlier electrical central lock is discontinued. This is also the guideline of Central Government. So Tata lock system is not a flaw but a feature.

Rear seats have child lock to prevent it. Children are allowed to sit only at the rear seats. This is the feature in European cars also, you can find the same thing in polo.

What safety feature ? Elders can accidently pull the lock and door opens mid ride. Accidents will come automatically. So much for 5 star car
