I can hardly believe I watched this all the way through without realizing how the time went. It was fascinating and entertaining and witty and above all informative. Thank you so so much. Bravo 👏👏🙏👍
When I inherited my grandmother's china cups I couldn't believe how tiny they were compared to my normal 14oz mug. But I loved them and wanted to use them so I set aside my beloved ember and was shocked when suddenly my usual instant coffee tasted so different when I could only fit 6oz of water in! I wonder when cup sizes began getting so much larger?
Love your channel ❣ With all the coffee's i've had around the world, Fresh Brewed and Instant... Instant with brown sugar and evaporated milk is my favorite. All these ingredients give a nice warm caramel essence that still taste like coffee. Years ago "Brava" was an incredible coffee, but Nescafé stopped making it. 😥
Your videos are seriously underrated ! Loved this one, been making instant coffee a lot more lately as making coffee in my breville takes too long in the morning 😅
I was at this coffee shop in Thailand (Chiang Mai is literally infested with coffee shops) and they somehow made iced coffee flavored with lychee syrup taste INSANELY unique and added a strange new depth to coffee.
When I was a kid, I figured out that instant coffee can actually be pretty good. I mean, it was the best I could do since I couldn't get my hands on ground coffee, let alone whole beans to grind.
Try coffee with a pinch of ground cardamom. Surprisingly pleasant. If you like cinnamon, try cardamom. Great with or without milk. If you add a pinch dry ground ginger to black coffee will enhance the floral and green flavors of coffee, reminding you that coffee beans are plant seed. Add a pinch of lemon and ice. Refreshing!
Bang up video ❤ I love coffee and will try the J Valdez. I usually brew mine hot, but after watching some of your videos I’m going to try more ways to make coffee. TY 👍👍
loving your coffee content as always! I've been experimenting with plant-based milks lately, and I'm curious to know which one you recommend as the best for coffee? Do you have a favorite non-dairy milk or creamer that you find pairs perfectly with different coffee flavors? Thanks for the great videos!"
Can you make a video on different recipes with Juan Valdez? I bought it because of you and I use brown sugar syrup, but I’d love to expand and add different things to enhance the flavor.
instant coffee is sort of easy, look for the ones with the least amount of chicory, and it should either be a very fine powder or freeze dried, those will be your best options..
You can make a mock espresso shot with 2 tbsp of hot water and 1 tbsp of instant coffee, then heat the milk in a microwave and then foam it using a milk frother or a french press.
If I added any of these additives to coffee it would be because I don't like coffee. I like black coffee with no additives... just COFFEE. So I think I'll try the cold water first method. Sounds like it might work to keep the coffee from tasting burnt.
“shut up, everybody’s tired of hearing that nonsense“😂😂 I don’t understand comments like that at all either. I am looking forward to the store brand instant coffee review-I was thinking it right before you said it😁
As someone who’s done this to make an iced Greek frappe? Unless you care about a froth with minuscule bubbles that can’t be seen by the naked eye? It’s really not that much of a big deal. This goes both for milk or instant coffee frothing. None of the gadgets are really needed unless one wants to invest in using them daily. That’s one thing those who are sponsored by those companies don’t really want people to know. There’s also a tendency in Western coffee-making towards aesthetics where it has to be pretty and have an ornate flair to it. While I find it nice looking? I find it personally to not be worth that much effort besides peacocking. I honestly doubt many of these people make these sorts of drinks on a daily basis. Not that this UA-camr is. I unsubscribed from Adam Ragusea recently for doing just that while not being transparent that the coffee gadget ad he made was an ad.
@@SpecialInterestShow Admittedly? I do like the challenge of making these drinks much like I like experimenting with cooking techniques and ingredients since it’s playing with chemistry from time to time. I did figure out how to do the oleato perfectly. Basically heat up 6 fl oz. of milk with olive oil and maybe sweetener. To make it easier, use a small mason jar, then after heating it for 30-45 seconds, put the jar lid on and shake it for like a minute or so until it’s incorporated. Then pour over iced coffee and stir. Honestly? Issues drinking it before driving anywhere aside? It’s not something that really makes sense since the American diet has a ton of fat in it. Not to mention how involved it is to get it right that it makes sense why Starbucks’ version would have a terrible execution. There’s not enough time to emulsify it. And honestly? Not really worth it like plenty of trendy drinks.
"calcium makes your coffee sweet" me: .......mmhmm... *stares at our faucets that has to have limescale removal like once a month 'cause there's just so much calcium in our water here* no wonder I think coffee shop coffee is too sweet, they have the same water AND a buttload of syrups added.
Who said instant coffee doesn't taste good?? You just don't know how to make it. I've figured out 100 different ways to make it in my 22 years of lifetime 😂😂
i actually did myself for a long time. havent had one in almost 4 years so the next time im gonna try one ill use those tips to make it taste better (hopefully)

When I look at my content from a birds eye view, one goal is to help people who are just getting into coffee make better coffee and most of the time that person is using instant coffee.

French press ftw in the morning for me. Try it

Oohh I got all of it right!! Except, I don't use tap water.

Colombian coffee is the best!! 🇨🇴

I just found your channel and I'm loving it! Where have you been all My life? 😂
This was very inspiring
Another great video from The Java Whisperer!
I like to dissolve my instant coffee first in creamer, also Nescafe is the only instant coffee brand I like. Their Gold line is really good.

Agave sweetener is delicious with coffee too 😊
I should try the zest tip :o🍊
I love watching this video, and I don't even drink caffeine- it's just so interesting!
Yo, that salt trick is crazy
make more long videos like this one, you’re great

a tutorial on how to make cuppuchino with instant coffee and no machines pls
You need to froth the milk my guy or atleast heat it but its impossible without whipping up the milk I think
@@gm1799 yea but like using a whisk? i wannna see a tutorial without any machine
@SHYINC you could maybe do it it with a velvetiser and warm milk. It's almost impossible without machine.
You can make a mock espresso shot with 2 tbsp of hot water and 1 tbsp of instant coffee, then heat the milk in a microwave and then foam it using a milk frother or a french press.
If you have a French press you can make perfectly frothed milk if you heat it up first.
If I added any of these additives to coffee it would be because I don't like coffee. I like black coffee with no additives... just COFFEE. So I think I'll try the cold water first method. Sounds like it might work to keep the coffee from tasting burnt.
I’ll have to try the add cold water first technique. Tried using normal hot water from the tap and it was bitter.
Another way to make the coffee sweet is adding a blonde Expresso. For those that don’t know what a blonde expresso is, it just more caffeine.
I think the salt did it for me 😊
Can you add zest if you’re going to be having milk in your coffee?

Best Almond, oat, soy barista version milk you’d recommend

can you make a whole recipe for your coffee? I really need to cuz
Would using a handheld whisk or frother instead change the texture much for the cocktail shaker one?
