Crazy looking cartoons with relatable, real life situations, were always a thing. I don't know why this neo-nostalgic post-kids, think cartoons from 10 years ago were so revolutionary. Dungeons and Dragons is from the 80's and has a mature tone, while keeping the fantasy theme, with magic, monsters and time travel. And doesn't look like it was designed and animated by an actual kid. You guys are just nostalgic. There are good and bad cartoons, or movies or music in any age. Grow up.

There are at least 100 words that could be used to describe a penis and maybe 3-4 that could be used to describe a handle that you turn to indicate a choice (here, knob). There is no logical trace to suggest that it was anything except coincidence except your dirty mind.

Not everything has to be a metaphor, indeed that's rather poor writing. That's one of the lowest modes in fantasy, horror, science fiction (aside from everything being meaningless, without resonance or believability). Things have to be convincing on their own grounds. That also counts for non-imaginative fiction.
I feel like the Simpsons were actually referencing themselves at 1:40. The show can get kinda outlandish, after all, despite the down-to-earth setting. Quite a nice subtle joke from the Simpsons, once again.
One thing that changes when you get older is that you get the subtle jokes that you missed when you were a kid, like how when Scratchy puts the pool balls in his eyes it's the numbers 6 and 9...

That premise sounds like a lot of anime and manga I like. Line Dorohedoro, wacky world full of magicians, gangs and ultraviolence, but surprisingly well-crafted relationships and simple comedy.
