Susheela's Gamakams for the words thinaiyum panaiyaai vaLarndhen and at the End of many Words / Phrases (especially for the Words ending with the vowel sound of the syllables or syllables with the sound of Thamizh Mei YezhuthukkaL like "Thiru"dan", Kodu"thaen" are very subtle and too sweet which many people may hardly notice. I have observed it and enjoyed it in thoroughly & repeatedly in many Songs - both in Duets as well as Solos. To quote a few unsung / rarely heard songs here: Pudhu Veedu vandha Neram, adiye Netru pirandhavaL Neeye, varaNum varaNum mahaRaaNi and the solo song in the film Veettukku Veedu - Thottu Thottu Paarthaal Sugam Theriyum. People need to listen to the songs closely so as to recognise, appreciate and enjoy these finer aspects of her singing that engage us in a sort of intoxication. So Too, the extraordinary humming that follows immediately after TMS closes the Opening Pallavi in the song "pattilum melliya PeNN idhu" for the unfinished film Gnaayirum ThingaLum.
