I can watch lots of videos and learn a lot. But, when I want to watch someone and learn and have a fun and uplifting time....I find someone like you that's about as crazy as I am! Cool pic as usual :)
I love to watch u create as you explain your thought process but I especially like how you dont judge yourself as I tend to do when I work.You just accept that what you have done looks right and is the path to follow as you make your little wispy marks and loops with what looks like hand made tools. I often feel that my paintings are best when done fast like yours and when the inspiration feels right because when I go back or question it it never turns out well. Also I see the importance of white and learning to leave a lot of the canvas white is very important as I am always compelled to cover it with color.Putting down the initial layer of white will help that since looking at the canvas naked is what bothers me. Amazing how important it is to watch other artists work,which I never do,because its giving me the motivation to create,learn,accept,and enjoy what I love so much,the sheer joy of expressing with paint a unique spontaneous creation.
Not the colours I would use. But OMG, I love it! Just goes to show that trying new techniques and being daring with your choices can open our horizons. Love it!

Thank you very much😊❣️Your welcome! If I am ever feeling uninspired and underwhelmed in general I go back to a technique and colors I know I can count on to turn out something I am happy with and that's the catalyst to the jump start I need to get moving again.
I have a book and so do a fair number of other creators about "paint pouring" I am a bit different than most but basically it's all about adding flow agents to make the colors move and cause patterns when they encounter each other depending on how much stretching or agitation is applied. I like to think of it as being in league with natural occurrences to produce something unexpected with some creative guidance from my own artistic sensibility.
I have not watched art You Tube videos before today. Yours is one of my firsts. I only used pencils and ink -- 50 years ago during an art class. (college teacher wanted me to go on to art school, but life interrupted me.) i LOVE it! i want to make one like it!! :) I oohed and ahhhed as you were "making" it. Now, to buy products and continue to watch you create! And begin a new adventure at 82. Thank you.

My kids laugh at me for not throwing anything away that can be 'used in my art'. Priscilla it is so refreshing to find someone else who can see a possible use for anything from medicine bottle tops to dustbin lids! Great stuff and hugely encouraging. Thank you.

Using everyday utensils touched my heart, as someone who grew up without much, making do with what we had lead my siblings and I to push LOTS of things to do double duty, especially to satisfy our artistic or creative desires. My daughter teases me because I have watched about 30 of your videos. Tonight she came home and my granddaughter was watching them too. We both want to try our hand, her eight year old ones and my 66 year old hands trying to paint. Thank you so much for the inspiration. We watched 3 videos tonight.

Love it! Probably like the other 1085 other commenters...Lol. Your work is beautiful but the banter that goes along with the creation of it is truly enjoyab!e. Using everyday utensils touched my heart, as someone who grew up without much, making do with what we had lead my siblings and I to push LOTS of things to do double duty, especially to satisfy our artistic or creative desires. It made us ALL resourceful throughout our lives.
