The condition of the cover of that zeppelin album is great, I'm a record collector and thats one of the nicest I have seen. Despite the condition of the record, I would pay $30 for just the cover! Most of the time I find a thrashed cover with a nice record inside.
I know a guy that died and the auctioneer gave a friend this dudes whole bottle collection for free and didn’t even auction it. It just so happens that it was the most complete soda collection in all of Nebraska
Probably the best album of all was the "Nantucket" album that you flipped right on by. They were a band from the 80's based here in North Carolina. There was only a few thousand of their first album printed...
Scott, I enjoy seeing your hoard. That gentleman you spoke with was a kind soul. That Prince album in my state would sell fast as he is from here and was loved. Great finds.👍👏😀
You might want to play test some of that vinyl. If it's as hot out there where the albums were as you said and they were stacked on top of each other in tall piles, there's a good chance they're warped. Hopefully that's not the case. You found some great stuff as always. Looking forward to the next treasure hunt.
Hey Scott, I think I’m the guy you mentioned when you were talking about Smithfield dumps. I honestly meant to tell you exactly where they are and I will next time I come to your shop, I was just a little distracted because we had our kids waiting outside because I didn’t want them breaking anything. I don’t think they are actually town dumps because the digging is so sparse, in fact I gave up digging them after never finding anything but tiny broken pieces plus it’s too hot right now so I’ve been creek walking in Raleigh. Hopefully me and my wife will swing by soon and I will tell you where they are.
Those old ACL 2 liters are cool
