The new Toyota's are junk....whining rear differentials -- time bomb ....and the engines ping, burn oil and DIE going up steep hills !....another time bomb.....buy an AMERICAN Ranger ...superior truck ! google / youtube these issues if you don't believe me...
Man the voodoo blue trd pros just look so damn good. At first the color was alittle too loud and in your face for me since I’m more a blacked out kinda guy but it has grown on me so much. It’s def become my favorite color out of all the trd pro special finishes. Still love my blacked out 4runner but out of all the special trd pro colors the voodoo blue takes the cake for me.
Kudos to your Film/Photo editors awesome job 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽. Thank you for keeping the overland community exciting and fun .. imo one thing that should’ve been change in the video . Those rigs should’ve been Jeeps 😬😁..lol..j/k
Driving Line nah, Holcomb creek just let us out at fawnskin and we had half the day left so we drove to the backside of the mountain and did Heartbreak Ridge. Super cool trail and at the top you can see all the way to the desert. We were in a heavily modified 2017 Rubicon.
Exactly which trail is this? Holcomb valley or holcomb creek? 2 different thing right? Not familiar on big bear trail and wanted to do easy trail for beginners
That definitely isn't Holcomb Creek. If you think anything on that trail looked hard or intimidating you are not ready for Holcomb Creek. A stock vehicle could make it through but it probably wouldn't look the same once you finish the trail
@@NoSpillsChills we got there and they had that trail and a few other ones around the lake area closed off. Don’t know when they have them open but I wonna try it out
@Chris Redfield I have a 2003 Tahoe with a supercharger on it perrito and on a full 3in kings lift and still got me a $60k truck cuz I CAN AFFORD IT. Why hate on shit u don’t got or can’t get? Sounding like a straight HYNA online
Well Done Video! I was curious if I could run that trail without rockers. I noticed that your TRD does not have the side steps which mine currently does. Do you think that would be an issue for me? Thanks!
In dry conditions, no locker is needed on these trails. I only engaged it because it was wet out, and a good opportunity to show how it works in your favor in these conditions.
Since I retired several years ago and been out of Ca (thank goodness) it sounds like the stupid adventure pass is back in existence? It was in and out several times over the years, C4WDA and CORVA fought it many times. So the question is, how much does this extra tax cost now? Good vid of the area, I lived in Oak Hills for over 20 years great local area to wheel in. John Bull is especially interesting with about 12-18” of snow!
I live in CA and I agree with you. There’s a tax for everything but people are trashing the mountains and trails. Its really sad. Hopefully this $5 goes to education and cleanup.
Top-notch video, thanks for sharing your adventure!
Man those toyotas look beautiful!!! Especially the voodoo blue trd pro 4runner

Barry A. yo chill you didnt have to literally kill this man he just liked how the 4runner looked
@@barrya.6212 I love 2015 taco , Ranger is nice truck too
That was rad great content and editing! Mark from Eibach is the man, I've done a trail run with him he is super cool.
Great video. Thanks for the info on the trail. It’ll next on our list.
Amazing video man! love the infographics. Definitely sharing! cheers
Thank you!
That place is beautiful and a great place to be!!!
Great production. From the editing to the angles of the shots to your music of choice. Great work man!
Thanks!!
It's a whole new world in the snow but its very fun challenging trail!
Snow would be so fun but also so much more challenging.
Great camera work!

Thanks for the feedback Emel! I hope you watch other videos in our On The Trail series to see PLENTY of Jeeps ;) Let us know what you run!
Rain in the middle of summer? Wow, you are lucky to experience that. Most Californians don't know what summer rain feels like.
It feels muggy sir I prefer my summer dry lol
i love that 4runner.
I went on that trail to Holcomb Valley with my family in tow in a Mercury Topaz!😂
Looks like a fun time. Not sure my Raptor would fit thru the “squeeze” but looked fun
That last section of little john bull is now very hard to pass. Good little trail though
Awesome video 👍🏼
Nice, did Holcomb creek trail a few months back. That first rock garden is tough!
RAD! Did you do little John Bull as well?

Looks fun
2:10 you get extra traction longways of the tire, not sideways when you deflate tires. Common misconception :P
On the rock section did you just use 4lo and locker?
what is this music you have on here. such great editing!!!
Exactly which trail is this? Holcomb valley or holcomb creek? 2 different thing right? Not familiar on big bear trail and wanted to do easy trail for beginners
It is called the Burnt Flats Trail 3N02
That definitely isn't Holcomb Creek. If you think anything on that trail looked hard or intimidating you are not ready for Holcomb Creek. A stock vehicle could make it through but it probably wouldn't look the same once you finish the trail
Will a tundra fit through the squeeze??
Love the TRD Pro's, hate the TRD Pro side steps.
Thanks
Ima take my trail boss through that right now 🤙🏽
Tight fit through the squeeze!
Did you make it through ?
@Chris Redfield good for u perrito

Your spotters need some education my guy.....very cool video though
Do you think a 2wd rwd buggy could make it, no rain? I have a 800cc Joyner and I wanna know you opinion
13:00 he should had turned the A-trac on the front would have pulled right over that rock
I wanna see more videos of these guys with Toyota’s!
Adventure Pass..??
That’s definitely not 3N16. Not all the way to the dump😳
You must have gone west and are going up the canyon after the creek
I agree!

Super Sami We filmed this in July, so my memory may fail me, but I’m pretty sure it was $5.00

@@phillipconnolly5020 5.00 isn’t bad, is that for the year? The last one I bought was 25.00 for the year.

Man i just wanna run my trx4 sport there! Lol
One thing the toyotas don't have is enough ground clearance....
When is episode 2 coming out?
It's out. ua-cam.com/video/6Awa-d1WaW4/v-deo.html
No invite damn
What’s adventure pass?
Had to stop the video...... too hard to watch city boys try to drive off road...... just pathetic. At no point do you need a spotter... geez
Was thinking the same damn thing ,
