Appreciate the video, I came looking for a deck tech I swear I saw on commanders quarters a while ago, and now I’m glad I found this instead

I cracked the will code a while ago it’s about getting a bigger life link creature out by turn 4. Then storm turn 5 and 6. Most life link creatures are 5 or 6 many so u need 2-3 extra life or mana by turn 4

This is sweet! I've been trying to make a Will deck work, but all of them are so focused on lifegain+Felidar/draw+Approach of the Second Sun they seem a bit boring to me. I was considering building him as an alternative UW angels commander when I saw your vid. I like the spell slinging route much more, so thanks for that! However, I still have doubts with win conditions... any take on that, particularly with the recent expansions?

Greetings! I'm glad you enjoyed. When it comes to win-cons, there are a couple of things to consider here. First, I will start off by saying that as I configure my budget brews, my aim is always to assemble what I believe to be the optimal version for the provided price point, and so if it were me, I would simply sleeve it up as is. The list has been tested (I usually play several dozen games with a deck before it makes it to tape- I don't like pawning poor product), it's consistent, and in my opinion, it's pretty fun. However, if stuff like Approach of the Second Sun doesn't suit your personal tastes independent of power, I think the easiest answer I can give you is to revert the shell to a more traditional spell slinger set up, playing into the Pyromancer package much more prominently. As I mentioned during the deck tech, I didn't include the likes of Docent of Perfection and Metallurgic Summonings because it started hogging too many slots, especially as an army of 1/1s and 2/2s need something to supplement them to be effective, and furthermore, the deck has so much card velocity that finding one of a few payoffs is not particularly hard. As is, the tokens are more or less a wall that enemies need to run through and buy time for us to find a "combo", but if we're removing the likes of AEtherflux and Approach, you probably should contemplate including stuff like Strongarm Monk and Soulblade Djinn as well, otherwise you're going to need to cast a LOT of spells to do any real damage. Unfortunately, Lost Caverns of Ixalan provides us with pretty much nothing- Blue and White being the "artifact matters" colors in the set- so our card pool is pretty much the same as when I put this together. On a personal level, I would request you NOT include Felidar Sovereign in this deck. I'll be blunt, I think that card is a trap. It dies to removal, makes your face a lightning rod for attacks, and doesn't even win you the game a lot of the time, especially as once again, our aim ISN'T to gain a million life every turn, just bits and bobs here and there. Something I've learned after doing this a number of times is that when it comes to win conditions, especially on a budget, you don't need to overthink it. You don't need an A+B, you don't need a definitive "answer" to the question, sometimes just having more "stuff"- whether that be cards in hand, lands in play, etc. is enough, and this deck is very good at winning resource wars. Once again, this is why there are so few actual kill cons in the first place. Eventually you'll find one, and at that point, you'll have so many options your opponents can't stop you anyway. Stuff like Approach just ends their suffering sooner. Anyways, I hope this helped, and thanks for watching!

Wow,@@KidintheOffice, thanks a lot for your detailed reply. Indeed, I don't like Felidar either that's why I was so happy to find your video hahaha
I totally understand your take on the win cons. Will try it out as it is then :D Thanks again!

Do your sleeves smell like pichuli?
Do Hacky sacks and "oregano" carry special appeal?
Will Scion of Peace is just an oregano bag away!
    Fun video

Not being critical but the link on your $50 deck for Moxfield is reported as $129

This is because your price setting on Moxfield are likely using Card Kingdom instead of TCGplayer! Additionally, I typically don’t count snow basics in my total cost because it’s so easy to simply Sharpie “Snow” on a Plains or Island without anyone batting an eye, but if that is unsatisfactory, I provide alternatives to all snow cards in the deck primer, which will also reduce the cost to roughly $50, even on Card Kingdom. Thanks for watching!
