Daaaaaaaaang! I found your channel cause of the exotic locations you like to smoke in drink in, I had NO idea you were a FELLOW KNIFE COLLECTOR! I just got the Tuch Knives Klick yesterday, so it’s my current carry. My carry always depends on what I’m setting out to do. If I’m working, I carry one of my CRKs. Either a Zaanto, or a DP Benza. I've been collecting knives since the early 80's. As of two days ago, when I did a count. I have 69 knives, folders and fixed blades, from 2 inch long blade to 12+ inch long blades. I also have 19 assorted axes, some for chopping wood, some for chopping softer targets :) 9 swords, 2 spears and one pole axe. I think that's every thing. Take care and keep em clean and sharp.
Oh I like that knife which got caught on your sleeve! I have one knife, I got it 20 years ago when I was 9. Wooden handle and my name engraved on it. I didn't appreciated it back then but now I do 😇
9:29 - I like it! A worn knife that has some history and is loved for other qualities than its design is imo worth so much more than a pristine one. I do a sharpening service and I love looking at peoples knives and I can see how they were used, which one is their favorite, how they are looked after etc
I was grabbing all my parents knives out of the cutting block a few weeks ago and complaining that they were all dull. So my dad spent a good two hours sharpening all of them finally. I'm weird that I sharpen a knife just a few strokes on the stone every few days.
Awesome collection Jacob👍 I’ve been collecting knives for a long time too. I got my first Swiss Army knife when I was a Cub Scout. Now I have about 30 knives. My favorite one I have is my Spyderco Slysz Bowie. I like to beat the hell out of it and then sharpen it back to a mirror edge. You should get some diamond stones and learn to sharpen, it will make you like your knives even more with your own edge on it.
Sick collection my dude. I would recommend DMT diamond stones for sharpening. They have a folding one, it's not expensive and easy to carry. That and a strop and your all set.
I love that first Kershaw! That is such a solid knife. That exact Kershaw knife (in blue grip with raw blade) was my everyday carry for about a year. Then i gave it to a good friend! Loved that knife. For right now i carry a spring assisted karambit knife and fixed blade (blade through out grip) crkt S.P.E.W (folts designed)
Love the AK bayonet you got. My bulgarian spear point style ak74 bayonet is probably my fav knife since it can be mounted on my fav rifles and it is a spear point, so it's a bit better for thrusting than the clip point bayonets. I used to have an AKM bayonet (yugo made) like yours but I gave it to a buddy. Great knives overall and like one of the other commenters said, the wire cutter feature is there and I've personally used it on fences with ease. Godspeed, Jacob.

I have that same Kershaw Leek, despite being the cheapest knife that I own, it's easily one of my favorites. Highly recommend picking up an aftermarket pocket clip for it, improves carrying quite a bit when less of the handle sticks out of the pocket.
Kershaws are nice for what you pay, but as soon as you get your first knife thats in between 150-200, you will never want to buy another knife outside this price range again. trust me. get one, Ritter Hogue RSK, Spyderco PM2. Even ZT has some 2nd hand ones on eBay for this price. its so worth it.

I carry the CRKT M16-13ZLEK. I take it on the kayak with me as well. Works great for bleeding fish and doubles as a rescue knife with a strap cutter built into the flipper tab.
The second CRKT has what you call a Tanto blade, and your Orange handle knife is a Samior GA035 a Slim gentleman's knife with an orange synthetic handle, any knife with a geometry like that or the CEO is reffered to as a gentlemans knife, usually flippers but they also have thumb studs I'm only mentioning so you can know what to look up if you ever want another slim knife in the same vein. Scallions and Leeks are great and I don't know it's your style but...I do have a mint condition gold plated Kershaw leek I would totally sell you if you're ever interested lol.
Respectable collection friend. As an owner of a few knives myself I find Crkt and Kershaw to be best balance of cost effective to quality. The USA made Kershaws especially impress me, like the leek and scallion. Ken onion is a great designer.
Nice collection brother, if I had to pick one it would definitely be the AK47 bayonet, that thing is all kinds of cool. If you like multitools you should really get your hands on a Leatherman Surge, not the cheapest but certainly a contender for the best MT around.
I'm sort of chuckling as a Canadian we can't have automatic knives but I can carry a Bowie when I'm fishing in a rural place it's 14 in nobody bats an eye, it's like a carpenter carrying a hammer, the use of it determines the legality. Usually I have a buck 252 flipper on me and a fixed drop point 6" blade knife. Hair whittling if I can help it, Chinesium doesn't sharpen, buck knives are great when on sale
So I am from Scandinavia and I only know what laws we have in Denmark, but mostly if you are carrying for purposes like camping or fishing it is legal as long as you don't walk around waving it around like a wildman. Apart from that we have a collectors permit which allows you to display your knives in your home under locks. But people usually have a users permit and that is kinda easy to get, but it takes a few months to 8-9 months to get depending on the user and the knife. Butterfly knives, spring loaded and concealed knives like neck knives are generally not allowed, but you can uptain specifically issued permits if it is for essential use like demonstrations and such. It's obviously stupid to walk in to a bar or a school with a knife where you don't have a use and that is mostly where you can expect trouble with the law. Fines are pretty huge so if in doubt just let stay at home.

Nice! I am now looking for some nice black blade with kydex sheath that can be attached to plate carrier. Its a total navy seal vibe ykwis 😂 Time to upgrade from the old CRKT Hammond Cruiser. The AK47 bayonet number on sheath is a serial number of a rifle that this bayonet was in set with. AH is probably written in cyrylic which means "AN" in latin. You can look up AK/AKM rifle series serial numbers to decipher the rifle and country it was made in. Oh and you can use this bayonet as bolt cutter when combined with the sheath too!
